Aquatica
122 Trade Ct A, MooresvilleFORGET PETCO, FORGET PETSMART! GO HERE!!! If you have, or want to get an aquarium, go here! Such an amazing store! They're tucked behind Jet's, Jeffrey's & McDonald's off exit 33. I could have saved myself so much stress and money if I'd have known to go here previously. We have a small (10g) freshwater tank that used to have a single diseased betta. What's worse, is the whole tank set up, filters, all the medicines I ended up, needing to get, fish, etc. or a birthday gift for our kiddo. I spent so much time money and sweat trying to save that darn fish. #RipBernieJoe I promise I'm not exaggerating when I say, I spent hours in the different pet stores, talking to their fish people, researching different fish, species, online, asking questions in newbie and pro forum... I was so desperate to give my kids what we had intended all along - a fun, active, and simple fish tank. First iMessage them on line and they quickly got back to me. I joked to my husband." let's go now before I lose my courage and keep overthinking this darn thing." We went in with our kids and told them exactly what I had, what our water levels were, that I did not want to break the bank, and prayed they could point me in the right direction. They did! This is a store for Sirius, and high-end Aquarius's, AND newbies wanting a fun, simple, and inexpensive set up. They have it all. Their fish start at something like three dollars, and there's plenty of those to choose from, and then they have many beautiful, exotic creatures, including an axolotl, majestic, coral of every kind, I can imagine, and I believe a SeaRay or two. My kids LOVED it. I found them surprisingly family-friendly. We enjoyed going around and seeing all the fish, I joked it was like a mini aquarium hidden in Mooresville. They gave us space to browse (they even have an upstairs with gorgeous coral, unique fish, and a mudskipper! They didn't make us feel like an annoyance, and were SO KIND to our kids. My youngest kept asking a lovely couple who worked there "hold me?". (This is extremely out of character for him, and they were so sweet. They happily obliged, held him on their hip - also unlike me to let someone touch/hold my kid - carrying him around the store, showing him and his sissy the fish... we stayed way longer than intended! They were so patient when we were trying to have adult conversations about Fish keeping while the kids interrupted every other word. ) We bought a couple of small fish and will go back when they get some more of a certain species in stock. They were incredibly informative, and incredibly honest. They told us what would - and wouldn't - make good tank mates, they sold us healthy vibrant fish from CLEAN tanks (unlike the pet stores ), and were awesome. They NEVER pushed us to upsize our setup, buy fish outside our budget, or made us feel unwelcome. We and our kids can't wait to go back. Note for newbies: if you're looking to start a tank, go by the store and talk to the team here. Get an idea of what you want, and get your tank set up FIRST. Then return to buy your fish. You have to "CYCLE" your tank - letting it run for a while and checking things like Ph, ammonia, etc. They have it ALL here. Thankfully we have a wonderful family friend who was kind enough to educate me on cycling, what filters to get, etc. Just making a note because these are things we usually don't understand in the beginning. They'll be able to get you set up. TL;DL: ONLY GO TO THIS STORE FOR ANY AQUARIUM NEEDS!!!

Upscale Tails Pet Grooming Salon
721 Plaza Ln, MooresvilleI’ve been taking my shorkie and cockapoo to Upscale Tail for the past two years, and the customer service is outstanding. The team truly cares about both the dogs and the owners. My pups go every 8 weeks and are always excited to see the staff, which says a lot! If the groomers are ever unsure about something, they always text to confirm rather than guess — that extra communication really shows how much they value their clients. Consistently great service and happy dogs make Upscale Tail easy to recommend!

During our research we came across Faith Veterinary and Dr. Davis, we took our dog for a formal check up, he recommended to have surgery done, which was the best course of action due to the size of the stone. Aloha Veterinary Hospital
106 Stumpy Creek Rd, MooresvilleAs a veterinary assistant at another animal hospital, I’m always anxious when bringing my animals to hospitals I don’t work at. I brought my dog, Rhaegar, for an assessment with Trish and Dr. Mori prior to getting him into some high impact sports. After doing some research on clinics in the area, Aloha and their staff had what I was looking for as far as a sport dog handler/owner. I had radiographs taken at my current animal hospital and sent them over and we reviewed them as part of this assessment. We went over his structure together and it was so helpful to hear it from another professional. Since it was so nice outside, Trish did everything outside with him and you can tell she is SO passionate about what she does. She knows Rhaegar from photography and shoots we’ve done together, but she still made sure he was comfortable with her and being handled and doing what was asked of him. We received custom work out plan to work on conditioning and injury prevention and I can absolutely say it is 100% worth it to have the peace of mind to know I’m doing everything I can for him. The staff was so nice, the hospital is clean. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience! Trish and Dr. Mori were amazing and so wonderful to my boy!

Village Animal Hospital
628 Carpenter Ave, MooresvilleI just wanted to leave a positive review because Dr. Stutesman and his staff deserve it. I came home to my pet basically unresponsive. I called them at 5:15pm and even though they were supposed to close at 5:30pm, they told me to bring him in. I had to wait for my wife to come say goodbye and they were very patient with me. They could have told me to bring him somewhere else but they didn’t because they are good people. We ended up putting him down around 6:45pm. They all stayed late to accommodate us. Dr. Stutesman is a great doctor and if I get another pet in the future, they will have my business. Thank you!

Dogs By Andy K-9 Services
144 Bevan Dr, MooresvilleDid a 10 week training class with my stubborn Frenchie, Omar. Andy did our initial consult and Rebecca was our main instructor. At the end of 10 weeks I have a dog that is much more well behaved, less willful and easier to train. I've also learned how to properly communicate with my pet, which is even more critical as I now have knowledge I can use when it comes time to train my next dog. Cannot recommend this place enough, they are effective but more importantly you can tell they care about each animal and owner that walks through their front door.

Coddle Creek Pet Services
1365 Coddle Creek Hwy, MooresvilleOne of the most popular requests people have is for pet sitting - who can you trust with your pets? I want to leave my story here so those of you looking for help will consider Beth and Billy at Dog Walkers & More at Coddle Creek, LLC Mooresville NC. After reading the novel I have written below, you will understand how incredibly devoted they are to you and your pet.Beth and Billy took care of Patch, my 15-year-old, diabetic cat, and two kittens while I was out of town over Thanksgiving. Now, Patch has always been shy around strangers, preferring to hide rather than sniff out new people. Prior to my trip, they visited with us twice to help Patch warm up to them. They hung out with us for over an hour both times. I was very impressed! While I was gone, I received daily emails and pictures of my babies. I knew exactly how they were eating, playing, getting into silly trouble, and using the bathroom. My kittens were doing wonderful with Beth and Billy, as I knew they would. Patch, however, was being stubborn. Beth stayed hours past her visit time to coax Patch to come out of hiding and eat. She played soothing music for him, sprayed her clothing with calming spray, and she even laid on the floor to be able to see him under the bed.A few days went by and Patch still refused to eat. I was kept aware of his situation with phone calls and text messages. Beth and I finally agreed it was best to take him to an emergency vet since he had medical issues to begin with. Beth drove him to Huntersville and sat in her car the entire time, waiting on the doctors to triage him and report back. She stayed with him for hours and hours, well into the night. She refused my suggestion that she go home and rest as she had been with my cat all day; she wanted to stay and hear what the vet had to say.During this stressful time, Beth became Patch's grandma. She loved him as much as I did. The vet called us both to give updates! Sadly, we had to let Patch go as he was just too sick to come back home. There were some additional underlying medical issues we didn't know about, and his time had come. Beth was amazing throughout all of this. Knowing I couldn't be home with him, she gave Patch all the love and attention I would have given him. I truly felt that he had someone who loved him there at the end. Now, such personal and dedicated service must be expensive, right? Not. at. all. In fact, Beth and Billy did not charge extra for all they did for Patch; not the extra visit in the beginning, not the extra hours spent every day with him, not driving him to Huntersville and staying way after hours to be with him. They did this free out of the love they have for animals and their clients.Beth and Billy are godsends when you need someone to care for your pets the same way you would. I will not stop singing their praises and recommending them to everyone. You will not find better people to love on your pets whenever you're too far away to do so yourself.

Alino Pizzeria
500 S Main St #401, MooresvilleThis family-run craft pizzeria in Mooresville's Merino Mill serves up what may be the best wood-fired pies in North Carolina, along with salads, fresh gelato and local draft beer. On a recent visit, I enjoyed their delicious Milano pizza, topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham and spicy salami. Every slice was dripping with flavor, and the crust was baked to perfection. Each pie is large enough for 2 people to share, so bring a date, come very hungry, or be prepared to take a lot of pizza home. Service on my visit was great, and there's ample seating in both the airy, spacious restaurant or on the delightfully designed front patio. Prices are also reasonable, considering the pie sizes, so bring the whole family for an amazing meal. My only complaint about Alino is that's it's a long way from my house in South Charlotte, but pizza this good is well worth the long drive to Mooresville. Highly recommended!

Could've used a little more egg wash, but the flavor was there and the texture was on point. Tried the Creamy Philly Cheese Steak with onions and peppers. Big win. Not greasy, good flavor, and definitely filling. Perfect for a late breakfast or early lunch. The iced coffee surprised me--in a good way. Actually tasted like coffee. Strong, smooth, and not watered down like most places. Honestly, I'd come back just for that. Feels like this spot's gonna be a regular go-to for me and the wife.

China II(Mooresville)
112 Argus Ln C, MooresvilleThis is definitely the best Chinese spot in town, just like some of the other reviews have mentioned. If you’re looking for great flavor, generous portions, and fair prices, China 2 delivers all that and more.
I ordered two sesame chicken combos—one without sesame seeds—and swapped the rice for lo mein for just a $2 upcharge. Each combo came with an egg roll and a sweet tea, making it a complete and satisfying meal. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and both the lo mein and egg roll were delicious.
At $10 per combo, the price is more than worth it, especially considering the portion size. You really get your money’s worth here.
If you’re in the area and craving Chinese, I highly recommend giving China 2 a try. As I always say, finding a good Chinese spot is a must, and this one checks all the boxes.
