“I generally think this is a very good store. I have always had good service. Staff is very friendly and helpful. As a vegan, the vegan deli turkey sub has always been a favorite of mine for its value and taste. Unfortunately, I have been getting very different portions of vegan turkey between visits and I would like to be able to have a clear expectation of how much vegan turkey goes into a sandwich. I usually get the whole, and in the past they have always used a full retail pack for the whole sub. Recently, they have been using half a pack for a whole sub when I have ordered which has made me unsatisfied with the sandwich I got. When I asked about how much goes in, one employee said a whole pack while another said a half pack. I actually wouldn’t object to paying a little more for a sub with a whole pack. It is such a good deal that I would still choose to buy it. However, I don’t want to order ahead for double meat and get two packs of vegan turkey cause I don’t like that much in a sandwich. I understand that this is not one of the top selling subs, and that many employees might not know the specifics of what goes into the sandwich, but it is frustrating as a consumer when I feel like I don’t know what I am going to get. If this location responds and either tells me that it gets a whole pack or that I need to pay an extra charge to get one, but that there will be a consistent amount used in the same size sandwich, I will be happy and take down this review and post a five star one. Otherwise, I like this store. It is great and I hope to keep shopping here.”

“They carry the tofurky sausages and the TOFUTTI dairy free cream cheese, Publix don't sell it no more in hickory they freaking replaced that with this awful disgusting tasting forbidden kind of plant based cream cheese, hello, any of you guys ever take a look on the side of TOFUTTI brand cream cheese,!? That's why it says better than cream cheese, it says perfect for bagels, cheesecake ,frosting, and so on!
The cream cheese that was put in place of the TOFUTTI at Publix is by Philadelphia cream cheese and it has excessive amounts of sodium in it and it has loads of coconut oil in it ! I would never I couldn't make a homemade cheesecake much less any other desert or additive or topping with that garbage! TOFUTTI is thick, creamy, not excessive amounts of sodium no coconut oil trash and so is the TOFUTTI dairy free sour cream you guys ,it's the best!!!!!!!!! I know what I'm talking about! If I had to go to the polls and vote bygolly for food matters concerns, it he voting for TOFUTTI TOFUTTI TOFUTTI”
“We had a great time in Boone area. The local produce is wonderful. Got some heirloom tomatoes and a sugar baby watermelon. Man are they good. And you can get fresh mountain wildflower honey sticks too. Mmmmm. Had a blast looking around. Great job guys. Have a blessed day.”

There is a new Chef at The Market! I know this because he made the best hot dog I have ever consumed! As simple as a hot dog may be, this was a gourmet level Carolina dog! Homemade slaw was ridiculously perfect and the chili was as good as you’d get in a bowl at Grandma’s on a January Sunday after Church!
When I went to compliment the Chef, Mason, you can automatically see his absolute passion for cooking and making new exquisite dishes. You can automatically sense his desire to elevate The Blowing Rock Markets culinary scene! Big things coming from him I’m sure!
Highly recommend a stop at this Blowing Rock staple. I’ve been making this a must go to since it was a simple gas station over 20 years ago. Now it’s the Dean & Deluca of Appalachia!

“I have always loved visiting this store throughout the years. I first visited in 2000 when I was volunteering at Bethel school. The family that owns the store are so friendly and you always feel like you are at home when you walk in the door. I highly recommend you stop by and say hello the next time you are in the area. Grab you a drink and a snack and enjoy the beautiful valley of Sugar Grove.”

“A good alternative to the Publix in town. Friendly staff, good subs, good brands in general. Prices were reasonable. I'd never heard of Ingles before but apparently there are bigger stores with more premade foods. This one was pretty decent size for a small mountain town area.”
“I love this place. We always go to Boone and Blowing Rock with another couple and while the girls shop upstairs, we go have a beer. For some reason, beer taste better here, maybe because I'm not upstairs following my wife while she shops. This place has a great selection and I always try something I've never had before. I hate IPAs but I've tried a few here that I like. Again, I think it's because I'm drinking beer instead of following my wife around while she shops. It's a win win guys......or girls, try some beers you normally wouldn't like, they just taste better here. We're heading back in October and this is always our first stop because there's nothing like a beer buzz at 11:00am. Cheers!!”

“I have been using this facility since August 2022 and it is a very clean facility. Staff and owners are very nice and easy to reach if needed. On-line communications and payment options are easy to set up. Access to storage units is easy. Very pleased!!”
