Also I've looked at 2 or 3 other family dollars for the reading glasses that I want, and this place actually had them i was so excited. So I'll be coming back for sure”

“Always a decent place to shop for unique and fun products. Appreciate their wine selection and the ability to get a discount if you buy more than 6 bottles. I never leave empty handed. The store is well organized and relatively clean. All of their registers are always open making lines short. The only drawbacks are the lack of parking as they share a small lot with other users and the large number of staff taking up the frozen goods aisle restocking all of the freezer cases at 6:15 in the evening. This unfortunate event blocked just about the entire aisle as customers were trying to shop.”

I’ve known this place for 10+ years and every single time I go and eat there it does not disappoint ! The price, the quality of food the amount of food and the vibes are so authentic . When you walk in your greeted at the front desk by the cashier. You have to go to the back of the grocery store to encounter the kitchen. very hole in the wall and the way most Taquerias are like in MEXICO! As soon as you arrive to the kitchen, you’re greeted by the cooks who take your order and on a system that works by merit and honesty, once you finish your meal you head the cashier and tell them how many tacos you had. It’s a system that works by honesty and honor which is engraved in every Mexican that grows up in Mexico, it is part of our culture! Honesty, merit, and honor! That’s the essence of this business, but the highlight is definitely the tacos. They’re cooked to perfection and every bite feels like heaven . The Taqueria is one of its kind in Cincinnati and I will continue to recommend this place to anybody that has never been . I did gate keep for a while because I did not want this place to become too overcrowded, but I think it’s time to give it to shine it deserves !! ???? “Pipkins is amazing in all respects. A large variety of seasonal produce is available all year long and is always fresh and delicious. And the store has increased its stock of specialty items like ancient grains, nuts and dried fruits like cranberries, hard-to-find condiments and so on. Artisan bread from Allez and Blue Oven also available. The garden store also gets 5 stars. Lucky to have this place so close to home.”

“Great place, friendly staff & always clean. I shop there once a week. Only giving 3 stars is because I tried the curbside pickup a few days ago since I was sick and needed food for the kids. So I thought why not try it, it was only a few items. One of the guy employees shopped for me and I was left with a smooshed old cucumber, old mushy asparagus, a can of beans that was absolutely crushed and chicken that was about to expire and when I opened it, it smelled soooo bad, oh and 2 out of the 5 oranges in the bag were straight up mold. It was like they pick from bags of trash in the back. Aldi employee shoppers, please look at things before giving it to people. Food is not cheap. Needless to say that was my last time I will try curbside pickup there. Other than that the store itself is a good place as long as you go in. ****update, customer service reached out and refunded me for those items so I added a star.”

“I shop here weekly. Sometimes more than once a week. I run in for single items when necessary. I've gotten to know some employees by name. The employees are super friendly and helpful. Angelica always has a smile and a sweetheart. Aimee also a big sweetheart. Very friendly as well. Austin running carts in the lot ( new addition with noticeably cleaner cart corral and lot.) He always says hi. Robert always very quiet but willing to happily help. I've dealt with Jeff and Emily at customer service. They are both extremely helpful and friendly. I don't always get the answer I want. But rules are rules lol. I use to shop multiple stores each week for groceries. Now for the past two months, I just do ALL of my grocery shopping at Meijer. They have a very welcoming group of employees!”

Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.
Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
