The best corn tortillas are here, and if you want to make homemade Carne Asada tacos, get your meat from here. Hands down the best, you can't buy that kind of meat that cooks so good from a grocery store.”

“I love this Southside market. Located in a former Kroger store. They have great close outs right when you walk through the doors. Grab a cart on the way in you're going to want to fill up. A FRESH produce section full of all your needs for Mexican Cuisine. They have a HUGE selection of Badia spices, I avoid Goya at all cost. If you love Fidello they have a nice selection of pastas that work great. I love the smaller store versus the Big Box stores. The service is always friendly which is a nice plus. Although small they have a WIDE variety.”

“The store was clean and the shelves pretty well stocked. They have a decent selection of grocery items with some lesser-known brands. We gambled on a few today and shall see. The cashier lanes were moving efficiently. The quarter for a cart thing is still weird to me and I left mine in the cart like always. I struggled between and 3 and 4 stars for the rating, but gave them the benefit of the doubt this time.”

“I lived in the neighborhood over 50 yrs ago. I remember the different names of the store now called Family Food Center. I stopped in recently and was very impressed with the updates, the new owners and the friendly staff as I looked around I saw fresh produce decently priced and surprisingly fresh, the kinds of fresh meats great for any soul food dish, spices I have been looking for at other stores and couldn't find. I will be coming back to Family Foods at least once or twice a month. Thank you for keeping this well maintained grocery store in this neighborhood.”

“I have been going to Claudia’s for years. My doctor asked me about my supplements, of course they wanted me to just bow down to big pharma. Not to get off track and on my soapbox. Claudia’s always has helpful staff, and knowledgeable too. I was dealing with pain from a surgery, between the government and the doctors they are not even prescribing enough medication for pain. With not much knowledge in CBD you can talk to Claudia’s about health food options and make some informed decisions. Thank you for taking the time.”

“Been coming here for awhile and today I was disappointed about their all meat pizza which was Nasty! There were no bacon on it but some thrown together meat that wasn't on the menu,like lunch meat and old sausage... Sorry but it wasn't good at all after I spent $8.99 for something I could do better at home.”

They carry a great variety of things in their store and I always find what I need. They also have food that they make fresh. Me and my family really like getting the chicken wings. “This is the only Dollar General I've visited that actually sells fresh fruit and vegetables. There's only a tiny area with fresh fruit and vegetables so there aren't too many varieties. But I'm just happy I can pick up a bag of carrots or apples from this DG. I wish more DG stores would carry fresh fruit and vegetables.”
