“Last night we were passing by bus and saw this convenience store . My wife , an avid netflix realised it is the same location for popular Netflix Series "Kim's Convenience".
Even though we did not meet with Jung or Janet instead we were warmly greeted by the real owner of the shop. The real shop owner was kind enough to give us a souvenir and explain to us about how and when his shop became the set place for the film. Also , a little bit history about his shop. A great time to finish the evening . ????”

I usually expect convenience stores to be overpriced, but somehow the prices here are as low (and sometimes lower) than the grocery store. I'm not sure how they do it, but I am very grateful to live near such a neighborhood gem.”

“One of the best places to get your donuts in TO! They have lots of variety that won't break the bank. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. Watch out for queues on the weekend though so better come early to avoid them. Also try their boba tea, I mean, they're generous with the pearls and that's saying something ??”
“I live in the neighbourhood all my life. I have seen many owners come and go over the years. They serve the neighbourhood very well from the local school kids and neighbours. The staff especially the current owner, Michelle and her very dedicated yet hardworking rentless employee Anthony. They greet you everytime by calling you by your name. They also remembered what you had purchased at the store. They share their wealth of information and always wishes you good luck when you purchase lottery tickets. Anthony in the other hand is the neighbourhood food connsieur so he has tried a lot different food and would promote what he has eaten or his favourite. Anthony always tries to find a cigarette package that describes his feedback on certain individuals. Overall the atmosphere ..it is clean and great staff and service. There are times there are few customers and other times NONE! If you do drop just to shop buy a lottery ticket and if you meet Anthony. It takes one meeting of him makes you want to return for a conversation.”
