“I just got my car rust-proofed for $299 plus taxes (don't forget the 25$ CAD coupon on their website if you want a discount)My initial impressions of Houghton Rust Control are positive. It is operated by a very friendly family who has been doing this for a very very long time.They are very transparent and upfront about their charges, process and how it is all going to go.The rust proofing execution itself was seamless. It is like a Tim Hortons Drive thru. They guide you through the process and you do not have to get out of your car which is really convenient. The whole process took 15-20 minutes including drilling the holes and spraying oil in the frame and under it.Everything went well until I was exiting the building.I absolutely did not like the exit : It was VERY WET MUDDY DIRT ROAD albeit only 5 - 7 metres or so. Mud stuck to the car fenders and underneath. It is not a big deal but if you have a new car it just doesn't leave a good taste in your mouth.Will be coming back for another spray next year and will update the review then if it is fixed.”

“Tri city transmissions is by far the best mechanic shop I have been to. I sometimes feel being female going to a mechanic I’m going to be talked down to since I don’t know much about cars. However when I came back to pay for my car I was talked to with respect, Rich educated me on what was wrong with my car and the parts that were fixed. The community they have there is kind and welcoming which is hard to come by these days. I know they are busy but they still make time to treat people kindly and respectfully.
