“This small towns big store is really remembering story for you. we were camp at Ivy lea campground of Thousend island. On the first day we discover other than icecream, you will not get almost abything in the park store. Park staff inform us about Lucky Dollar. Its a short drive and also LCBO is there. Lucky store run by a Tanzanian emigrant couple. They are very friendly. Second day of our camping we were looking for cilantro there. They show me way of another small town, where No frills is there. Lucky have almost everything - what you need in a small town, like Lansdowne. This store also only reciving centre of the area, for all alcoholic bevareges empty bottles.”

“Mom and pop style bona fide Japanese grocery store. If you can't find it here, you will need to go to Japan because you won't find it in Ontario. PAT and T&T are great in their own right, but this is where you want to come if you need food uniquely Japanese. Prices are not cheap, but there are commonly sales and sale items. Everything you need to put together a Japanese meal. Rice cracker snacks, frozen section, pickles/condiments, sushi ingredients, soups, sauces, canned goods. Nice friendly and helpful people. You can even buy/rent a few videos here. Don't expect anything fancy and it is a small store. No problems parking or accessing by TTC, and it's a quick stop after going to Sherway. Where else can you find three different types of Japanese barley tea?”

“I love this Danforth location and have been going here for years. Love their regular sales each month and always get various supplements and health products and foods.
I recently discovered their pasture raised eggs by Alderwood Farms and love the taste and rich orangey colour of the yolks. This deep colour is always an indication of the grass and bugs these happy chickens are eating outdoors! And I don't mind paying extra for these eggs that come from happy chickens because they are double the nutrients compared to standard eggs from grain-fed indoor caged chickens.
The staff here are also helpful and friendly. Big thanks to Eddy at the Danforth store!”
“I love Healthy Planet. I go mainly to the one on Islington. I used to have to go to several different health stores to get everything I need but with Healthy Planet they have everything I need and all at reasonable prices. They have a huge selection. I especially like the wide variety of fruits and vegetables that they have. I love the chocolate-raspberry shakes at the kitchen bar. They are the healthiest smoothies I've found anywhere. No added sugar. They taste fantastic. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend Healthy Planet.”
“Very well-stocked vegan boutique with a wide selection of products hard to find elsewhere. They have vegan evaporated milk for example, as well as many types of vegan cheese, vegan honey, snacks, beauty products, candy bars, vegan meat and desserts in the freezer. It’s nice and clean and uncluttered as well. Friendly customer service!”
“I love this place because unlike Whole foods, pretty much all of their products are organic + most of the time LOCAL!
Their prices are very reasonable and I always find everything I need there. Their selection of breads could be better though. Also the staff isn't as friendly as at Whole foods and never asks if you need help, which is too bad!”

“i use coming here often as a way to ensure i get 10k steps in, always buying a snack and a beverage. if it weren’t for the AMAZING staff, i’d have no attachment, and probably walk to natures emporium instead (shout out to AJ, Mo, and every one else who’s names i don’t yet know, but who’s warm welcomes and interactions always make my days so much better…)
The manager has slayed his duties by hiring such sweethearts. This is going to sound insane maybe, but coming here so often is community, and it truly is such an important part of my weekly activities - i’m so grateful for the whole team - each and every one are totally meant to be in customer service, and they make you feel so welcome. Love you guys!”
“Hole in the wall korean butcher. So many kimchi and banchan options which are reasonably priced. The frozen meats and marinated meats were pricey in my opinion. Would go back for special occasions/dinners.”
“It is not a huge supermarket. Their butcher section is very good and looks very fresh. Their cookies and pasta section are amazing, and there are so many different varieties from Italy. Yummy. Their produce has good variety and looks fresh as well.”

“Finding a good independent grocery store is hard, but when I found this one, I knew it would be my new go-to. They make great cold-cut sandwiches. The price was very reasonable for the size of the sandwich. Also, I really like the people who own it. I love interacting with them because they are so friendly and helpful.
