“This small towns big store is really remembering story for you. we were camp at Ivy lea campground of Thousend island. On the first day we discover other than icecream, you will not get almost abything in the park store. Park staff inform us about Lucky Dollar. Its a short drive and also LCBO is there. Lucky store run by a Tanzanian emigrant couple. They are very friendly. Second day of our camping we were looking for cilantro there. They show me way of another small town, where No frills is there. Lucky have almost everything - what you need in a small town, like Lansdowne. This store also only reciving centre of the area, for all alcoholic bevareges empty bottles.”

“Wow! Amazing food and ingredients. I judge places from their croissants and am disappointed more often than not. Freebird croissants are the best I’ve had in the GTA! It’s worth the detour. My iced latte was amazing too.
The only thing that is missing is a little seated area. Even some chairs and tables outside would be great.”

“A very wide range of plant-based groceries. Although the aisles are slightly narrow, it's worth having a thorough browse, to find that one or two items you may not regularly find elsewhere. My only regret is that I didn't shop here earlier in my vacation.”

“Our families go-to meat place. They’re kielbasa (especially Wiejska) and kabanosy are the best in the city. The moment you leave your car your nose evokes such excitement for the goods awaiting inside. Customer service is also exceptional here along with their prices. For a lunch snack, they also have a hot table and cheese crepes that I always take to go. Highly recommend if you haven’t checked it out. Just follow your nose. ;)”

“Big improvement since the new ownership took over! The store is noticeably cleaner, the shelves are fully stocked, and there’s a lot more variety available now compared to before. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere feels much more organized and welcoming. It’s very nice to see the effort being put into improving the store and serving the community better. Now all of the local residents have access to what feels like “a grocery store” in the local convenience store.”

“My partner, four pals and I enjoyed an absolutely stunning evening with Jess learning how to make Cavatelli at Pasta Forever last night. It was so much fun - the perfect balance of interactive and informative with time to sit and relax and enjoy time and food with friends. Jess also provided some incredibly snacks for us to enjoy in between pasta making sessions - I don’t say this lightly but the table focaccia may have been the most delicious bread I’ve ever had in my life. We also got to enjoy the pasta after (with Pasta Forever tomato sauce🤤 🤌) on her back patio which was equal parts rewarding, beautiful and delicious.

“This is my everyday place. it's close to us, and I LOVE the deli meats, and the butcher counter. Great options for grocery, so friendly! I love that they're always speaking italian, make it all feel more authentic. That's what you want from a local grocer, especially Italian. That they know their stuff. The pasta selection and cheese selection is amazing! The Euro household stuff too, it just takes me right back to Europe! if you live nearby, it should be your daily market. Great local spot.”

“I love Healthy Planet. I go mainly to the one on Islington. I used to have to go to several different health stores to get everything I need but with Healthy Planet they have everything I need and all at reasonable prices. They have a huge selection. I especially like the wide variety of fruits and vegetables that they have. I love the chocolate-raspberry shakes at the kitchen bar. They are the healthiest smoothies I've found anywhere. No added sugar. They taste fantastic. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend Healthy Planet.”
