What I truly appreciated was the welcoming staff, their friendliness, and eagerness to assist enhanced the shopping experience. The store's layout is well-organized, making browsing through aisles a breeze. Whether you're part of the Sri Lankan community or a curious foodie, this store has something to offer. “My go to supermarket. Always fresh and stocked fruits and vegetables, depending on day and time, which varies. The store is clean and the staff are very helpful. Appreciate the new layout of fridges at the back and finally got used to the new exit ?. Always plenty of carts for usage, for when doing fortnightly shopping.”

“Khawar Supermarket is one of my go-to spots. Their fresh Afghan bread is always warm and soft — truly the best. The store is clean, well-stocked, and full of essentials like fresh meats, frozen foods, and ready-made meals that taste homemade. The staff are kind and respectful, and the whole place feels welcoming. A great little market for everything you need in one stop.”
“This is a busy location due to its proximity to Go Train, Highway Exit, downtown Pickering and the highway 2 corridor. Some people have been going here for decades. Min 1 hour if you are dropping by from hospital or doc office. This means if the prescription has an error there will be a delay. All the people are very professional. If you are polite, they are polite back. Best to call earlier in order to get prescriptions filled if faxed. For meds that need scheduling you can ask about availability and order times in order to determine when to call to fill. This location is great because you can call in the prescription. And if it is not busy, get suggestions on OTC medicine for conditions you are not familiar with.”
