451 Church St, TorontoI came in to the store today to pick up food for my roommates cat. I wasn't sure what I needed to get or where to find it. Thankfully, I was greeted by a very friendly staff member, Nicole, who was able to immediately bring me to the correct section and run me through my options. I found Nicole to be very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the care of animals, which gave me a lot of confidence that I had come to the right place.
I will be recommending this amazing local business to all of my friends.

3232 Yonge St, TorontoI took my beloved medium-hair cat in for her first groom ever and they were fantastic! She can be a bit spicy, but they did such an excellent job and she came back so fresh, clean, and shiny! She wasn't grumpy at all when she came home and was back to normal in no time!
I am so grateful for their excellent care and they really took their time to do everything I asked, including a bath, brushing, sanitary shave, and nail trim. You can definitely trust that they will treat your pet as their own, and they were so wonderful every step of the way, even reassuring me when I phoned to check in and see how she was doing.
All in all it was a fabulous experience and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended - definitely come here and support this local business :)

Barkingham Palace
2211 Gerrard St E, TorontoI should have written this review a while ago but figured that my better half had already given a glowing review !!! Both Kelsey & Jim deserve all the praise they get for their dedication to the Barkingham Pack … the doggies are always looking so relaxed and happy while at the day care . Zorro waits every morning to jump in the car to get to see his friends ! He definitely seems to have a lot of fun and is quite pitted when we pick him up . Kelsey takes great pains to get beautiful and action pictures of the pack, it must be a chore to do it every day but she manages to surprise us with awesome shots . Both of us and Zorro are fortunate to have found such caring individuals who truly are devoted to the pack. Thank you Kelsey and Jim for taking such great care of not just Zorro but the entire Barkingham Pack ? we are also thankful for the overnight stays for Zorro while we travel.

Thank you for taking such good care of our dogs Urban Bark!
Edit: Just to add to it, Muffin stayed at boarding a full 4 days with Lara and she was over the moon. We had regular pictures, videos and messages on how Muffin was doing.
Previously she stayed for a full week with Sam and same as above. Nothing better than to see your dog is very well taken care off.

Ruffin' It Dog Walking
896 Dundas St E, TorontoWriting this review was a challenge...
Insomuch as it was a struggle to balance lavishing sufficient praise upon Erin and Byron whilst avoiding sounding like a paid shill or a bot.
Erin and Byron have been walking my dog, Kyle, for over a year now, and I simply cannot recommend their services highly enough!
My dog, though a perfect angel, is also elderly, mobility-challenged, and initially quite reserved. He has been quite apathetic about other dog walkers in the past, and also endured walkers who don’t really get how to bond with and appreciate the idiosyncrasies of their charges. Upon initially meeting them, I could tell that Erin and Byron loved both dogs AND their work. And just as importantly, I could tell that Kyle felt this as well.
Throughout the many months they have been walking him, they have proven this to be the case again and again, and have graciously and thoughtfully accommodated both Kyle and myself to ensure that our needs are being met.
From slotting Kyle into a group that (while unconventional based on dog sizing) was the right “vibe” for him based on his pace, hauling around my obtrusive stair set to ensure he could get into the car comfortably, dropping him off last when possible because he loves car rides, and taking him for little rests and treats sometimes when the temperatures are high, he is ALWAYS thrilled to see them both and is happy and tired when he gets home from their adventures.
Moreover, they have allowed me to change my walk schedule weekly to match my erratic shiftwork schedule, always communicate the important events of the walk (i.e. the poops and cute pictures), keep me up to date with the drop off times each walk, and have always shared any concerns or thoughts they have about any changes to his function/mobility that they are picking up on. Even my neighbours have commented to me, unprompted, how kind my dog walkers are and how much they seem to love Kyle.
Which is, at the end of the day, what I appreciate the most about them, why I trust them with my dog’s life and happiness, and why I unreservedly recommend them to you: They love my dog, and they treat him accordingly.
I am certain they will love yours too.
Kirsten

We recently got married at city hall and were looking for someone to care for Winston while we were having our ceremony inside, and Elise truly went above and beyond to make sure our dog, Winston, was well taken care of.

Woof! Dog Shop & Daycare
843 Bloor St W, TorontoWe recently took our beautiful Corgi, Hyacinth, to Woof Pet Groomers for her puppy grooming session, which included a bath, flea treatment, nail trim, and haircut. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would happily recommend them to other pet owners.
The customer service was warm, professional, and attentive from the moment we arrived. The staff treated Hyacinth very well, and it was clear they genuinely cared about the dogs in their care. The grooming itself was nicely done — she came home looking absolutely adorable with a cute little handkerchief around her neck, which was a lovely touch. The appointment took about an hour in total, and I appreciated that they sent a text update midway through to let me know how things were going.
The salon itself is clean and welcoming, though the storefront signage could be improved slightly, as it is fairly easy to walk past without noticing it. It is also conveniently located within a reasonable walking distance for us.
The main reason I am giving four stars instead of five is due to the pricing of some of the retail items sold inside the shop. While the dog treats and specialty items looked appealing, many were priced quite high — around $18.99 to $20 for snacks — which unfortunately made them difficult to justify purchasing. They also sell packaged coffee that supports local charities, which is a thoughtful idea, though it felt a little off-theme for a grooming business. Additionally, the scented products or wax melts used in-store were somewhat strong, and as a pet owner, I would personally prefer lighter or more pet-conscious scents.
That said, the grooming service itself was very good, and the care shown toward our dog absolutely stood out. Hyacinth was happy, comfortable, and looked wonderful afterward, which is ultimately what matters most. We would definitely return.

Social Llama Cafe
2107 Yonge St, TorontoThis small cafe really packed in a lot of flavours! The menu was vast and took inspiration from diverse cultural cuisines. We got the vegan versions of the chef’s recommendation: the chick’n tikka masala, truffle mushroom gnocchi, litti chokha and carrot saffron mousse. Everything was delicious but the standout was definitely the gnocchi; it was decadent but light and left us wanting more. Litti chokha gave us new flavours and layers of textures that we enjoyed thoroughly. The tikka masala had a great base but the mock chick’n was a bit lacking. I love a nice chew to my mock meat but this one was too soft for me. As for the dessert, the mousse was light and not too sweet; the perfect way to end the meal. I loved all the foods, but the only thing is there is a “tax” on veganizing the dishes. Most of the menu is vegetarian so unfortunately, you will have to pay 1-2 dollars per dish to make them vegan. Well worth it but still feel annoyed to pay the vegan tax. Updated from previous review on 2026-04-15
