“I want to give special recognition to Manuel Shamon, a teller at the BMO branch at University Plaza in Windsor, Ontario. I had a very difficult problem with a transfer from my BMO Canada account to my BMO U.S. account. After being passed around through multiple phone calls and departments without getting a solution, I went to this branch hoping someone could help. Manuel was different. He listened carefully to my situation, took responsibility for helping me, and most importantly, **initiated the investigation process himself** rather than simply directing me to another phone number or department. His willingness to take ownership made a real difference, and the investigation ultimately led to the transaction problem being resolved. I sincerely appreciate Manuel's professionalism, patience, and genuine commitment to helping a customer. In a situation where I had become very frustrated after being passed around, he stepped up and took action. Thank you, Manuel, for taking ownership and making sure the problem was resolved. “I was having some frustration with my elderly moms accounts. Talking to telephone service persons was a total exercise in frustration. So I went here to speak face to face. The staff rapidly explained why I was having issues trying to help mom. I think the phone reps could have been just as helpful but seemed to not know how to explain the issue to me. Just note, this is not a traditional bank branch, there are ATM but now Tellers, the persons at this site seem to be investment and or loan personnel.”

“I would like to share my experience with the BMO Devonshire Mall branch. Initially, I had a disappointing experience due to what I felt was false reassurance from the bank staff. I raised my concerns and submitted a complaint regarding the issue. However, I would like to sincerely appreciate the team for how they handled the situation afterward. The staff were very supportive, took the time to listen to me, and addressed the issue effectively, making things right for me. It is always normal for mistakes to happen, but what truly stood out was how receptive the staff were and how quickly they worked to rectify the situation. Their ability to turn things around and provide excellent service in a short time was impressive. I had initially posted a negative review based on my first experience, but I have since updated it to reflect the extra mile the team went to resolve the issue. From this experience, I also learned that communicating concerns to management can lead to meaningful improvements. A special shout-out to Antoine Skaf, the manager, who provided clear guidance, realistic expectations, and genuine support in resolving the problem. I would also like to recognize Amit Ghosh, who delivered excellent customer service—he was efficient, flexible, and truly committed to helping in the best way possible. I really appreciate both of their efforts. Based on this experience, I look forward to continuing my banking needs with BMO, especially at the Devonshire Mall branch.”

“Nice Bank ,clean, nice location ,good service I went there today with my father-in-law I didn't know they require ID every time because I am with TD Bank So the women that helped us she was telling me that he needs an ID and why doesn't he have his ID on him I respect the law and I respect the rules of the banks because they help their customers protecting their accounts but the way she was talking to me she was absolutely rude I wanted to talk to her and tell her I don't like tone that you're speaking to me like that but she was my mom's age so I respected her age we went to get the ID and came back to the same location and another guy helped us he was absolutely nice and I have no idea what's going on with some people”

“I visited the Royal Bank 2614 Tecumseh branch today(May 04 2026) due to a personal emergency. I hadn’t made an appointment, and I felt so apologetic that I couldn’t bring myself to speak at first. Since the situation was so urgent, I put my pride aside, quietly knocked on the door, and explained my situation to the female staff member. She was a young woman, and after hearing my story, she immediately offered to help. I was so, so grateful. My gratitude continued. During the bank account application process, a mistake I made required me to cancel the documents I had filled out almost to the very end and start over from scratch. Despite the inconvenience, this young woman smiled and willingly helped me fill them out again. It took twice as long as expected to complete the account opening application. She told me she had immigrated from Bangladesh and had been in Canada for about four years. She was incredibly kind and a warm-hearted person with a rich humanity. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to her for sincerely understanding others’ difficulties and helping them with genuine care. I salute the service provided by Royal Bank.”
