Nature's Pet Market McMinnville
900 OR-99W, McMinnvilleI used to live near Canby and went to that Nature's Pet Market. My dog was used to the NW Naturals raw food diet plus many healthy options for snacks. Upon moving to McMinnville, I was extremely happy to see one here in town. They have everything my dog is used to and the staff is very friendly and helpful with guidance.

Pet Care

Third Street Veterinary Hospital
303 NE Irvine St, McMinnvilleDr. Collins and her excellent staff have been by my side while caring for my 2 aging dogs and cat. They were also incredibly helpful and sensitive asI said goodbye to these family members over a 3 year period. The passing of my pets was difficult enough, but without the kindness of the great team at Third Street Veterinary Hospital, it would have been intolerable.

Petco Vaccination Clinic
2370 OR-99W, McMinnvilleI’m very grateful for the Vetco clinic offering a pop-up clinic with reduced priced vaccines and other services in McMinnville! I now have 2 chihuahua puppies that were unplanned and it worked perfectly to get them in, started on dewormer and set up for vaccines/ microchip. The staff is so kind and helpful. The only feedback I would offer is related to the Check in process. So much of the communication when you sign up is done through online, email and text confirmations. I even received texted to check-in. However in reality, the processes to check in won’t apply with text/ online. You must check-in with the person by the door when you get there and then they put you in a separate line to see the clinical Staff. Putting signage out might be helpful for those that I could see frustrated with not understanding the process.

The Diner
2580 SE Stratus Ave, McMinnvilleAnother Fabulous Breakfast at The Diner in McMinnville Rating: We had another wonderful breakfast at The Diner in McMinnville. Our party of 4.5 was lucky to snag a spot on a typically busy Saturday morning; we must have hit the "sweet spot" because we arrived just before the line formed. A typical wait is 20-30 minutes for a table on weekends, but the food and service make it well worth it. We were greeted and seated quickly, and I really appreciated being offered a choice of seating. We opted for a booth, which worked perfectly for our little one in a booster seat. What made the visit truly special was the owner playing peek-a-boo with my grandson--such a sweet, personal touch that shows how much they care about their guests! The Diner is well-known for its boozy breakfast options. Our table enjoyed a Bloody Mary, Boozy Mimosas, and a Tequila Sunrise. All the drinks arrived quickly and were enjoyed tremendously. For the main course, we ordered: Breakfast Sandwich: Served on a soft, fluffy muffin with bacon and a perfectly cooked egg. Pork Chili Verde (Special): Served over cheddar grits with fresh salsa, crème fraîche, and crispy tortilla chips. Absolutely INCREDIBLE! Chicken Fried Steak: A family favorite that resulted in a "clean plate" as usual. Crispy Chicken Club Sandwich: Another lovely, solid meal. Another fantastic visit with great food and even better service. We will definitely be back!

Cypress at the Atticus Hotel
530 NE 4th St, McMinnvilleEvery dish and cocktail I've enjoyed at Cypress has lived up to previous visits (there have been many). The freshly baked pita bread and dips are what I continue going back for time and time again. If you haven't tried their muhammara, labneh + hummus - walk, don't run! They truly do the best mezze in the Willamette Valley.

Yamhill Valley Vineyards
16250 SW Oldsville Rd, McMinnvilleWe stopped in here on a rainy day without a reservation and had a lovely time! We were the only group in the tasting room at first so we had a lovely one-on-one experience with the staff member (who of course we did not exchange names with!) She guided us through a tasting of a wide range of delicious wines and even provided us with some pinot noir grapes that were recently picked off the vine. The tasting room was a very cozy space. She was super knowledgeable about the winery and the region and provided us with recommendations for the rest of our trip. (Sorry we didn't catch your name! We were there on 9/29!)

Youngberg Hill Inn & Winery
10660 SW Youngberg Hill Rd, McMinnvilleI live in the San Francisco area Bay Area and wanted to spend my 65th birthday celebration in the Willamette Valley.
An amazing decision, furtherly THE BEST DECISION when having picked Youngberg Hill Inn & Winery as our home base.
Because we were there at low season, we got many chances to interact with owner Nicoletta, a most wonderful and captivating hostess.
Everything in our stay at Youngberg Hill Inn & Winery was A+++! And their wine tasting too, WOW!
My 65th birthday celebration was the best it could have been.
Thanks, Nicoletta. We can’t to come back again!

Golden Valley Brewery And Restaurant
980 NE 4th St, McMinnvilleVery relaxed atmosphere. A little busy, just come and plan on waiting 20 minutes or so after ordering. While waiting, I recommend ordering one of their handmade pretzel with beer cheese and beer mustard. AMAZING. We actually got a second one to take home. This is my first time here and our server, Kylie was personable and friendly, we could not have asked for a better server. I got the Flite of beers which are 10-3oz glasses of a variety of their brewed on the premises beers. I preferred the oatmeal stout. Which, since it was my first time here I got a nice bottle to take home. This will be my new local go-to for dinner. I ordered the Tuna and I was absolutely amazed. I did not expect the level of sophistication in this meal. I didn't have any expectations but I can honestly say my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. From the veggies to the beef, it all comes from their farm/ranch. Be sure to save room for desert. The lime cheesecake is top shelf. Almost everything we ordered was hand made on the premises or their other restaurant in Beaverton.
