Nature's Pet Market McMinnville
900 OR-99W, McMinnvilleI used to live near Canby and went to that Nature's Pet Market. My dog was used to the NW Naturals raw food diet plus many healthy options for snacks. Upon moving to McMinnville, I was extremely happy to see one here in town. They have everything my dog is used to and the staff is very friendly and helpful with guidance.

Valley Equine Veterinary Service Inc
2880 NE Lafayette Ave, McMinnvilleDr. Mcmillan is amazing. A Vet that will make the time in his busy schedule for sick animals. I live at the coast and finding a vet is near impossible. They have helped me multiple times. They also call to check in and see how your pet is doing. The office staff is also so sweet and helpful.

Petco Vaccination Clinic
2370 OR-99W, McMinnvilleI’m very grateful for the Vetco clinic offering a pop-up clinic with reduced priced vaccines and other services in McMinnville! I now have 2 chihuahua puppies that were unplanned and it worked perfectly to get them in, started on dewormer and set up for vaccines/ microchip. The staff is so kind and helpful. The only feedback I would offer is related to the Check in process. So much of the communication when you sign up is done through online, email and text confirmations. I even received texted to check-in. However in reality, the processes to check in won’t apply with text/ online. You must check-in with the person by the door when you get there and then they put you in a separate line to see the clinical Staff. Putting signage out might be helpful for those that I could see frustrated with not understanding the process.

Bierly Brewing
624 NE 3rd St, McMinnvilleVery good food. Dedicated gluten free, which is great. The bread for the Ruben, the burger and breakfast sandwich were all super good. Also good for dairy free options. Also has some cool decore and the wall art and terrariums on the tables are for sale. Neat touch.

Elizabeth Chambers Cellar
105 Oakway Center, EugeneA Hidden Gem in Eugene – Perfect for a Little “Me Time”
Imagine this: you're in Eugene, Oregon, for a Ducks game weekend. Your husband is off cheering with the kids, and suddenly, you find yourself with that rare, golden sliver of time called me time. What do you do? You head straight to Elizabeth Chambers Cellar—and wow, what a treat.
From the moment I walked in, I was wrapped in a cozy, chic ambiance that felt both welcoming and refined. The food? Absolutely delightful. I had the citrus salad, and somewhere between the first bite and the last, it transformed from a simple dish into a full-on experience—especially after I asked for a wine pairing. That’s when the magic happened.
Their sommelier is not just knowledgeable—she is passionate, intuitive, and made me feel like I’d hit the jackpot. The pairing elevated everything, turning my solo lunch into something memorable and indulgent.
Thank you, Elizabeth Chambers, for making my quiet afternoon feel like a celebration. I’ll definitely be back—whether it’s for another game weekend or just to steal another moment for myself.

The Bitter Monk
250 NE 3rd St, McMinnvilleMy wife and I always have a great experience at The Bitter Monk. Their tap list is small, which keeps the beer fresh and the selection always changing. They have the best (and very reasonably priced) canned beer selection within an hour drive of Mac, so it's a great place to pop in for a few cans to go too!

Lundeen Wines
475 NE 17th St, McMinnvilleI could not be more thrilled to be a club member of this special winery. Desiree and Michael treat their members with as much care and attention as they do their wines. And their wines are wonderful!
I love the fact that they want to keep their operation small and personal. Well done, indeed!

Two Dogs Taphouse
401 NE Evans St, McMinnvilleThis is our second visit here and again, they did not disappoint. Two Dogs Taphouse is a big, loud, unassuming spot. They offer good food at reasonable prices. Here you can watch your favorite sports team - while enjoying good eats.
Order at the bar, grab a table and a friendly server will deliver your food.
We indulged and ordered an appetizer, Dirty Green Beans. Mr. Wonderful had the Fish and Chips, while I had the Falafel Sandwich and Fries. Both meals were served piping hot and tasted delicious. Very generous portions.

Wooden Heart
1410 OR-99W Suite 101, DundeeThis place offered a wide selection of wines by the glass, which I really enjoyed. What impressed me the most was the local Sauvignon Blanc. I’ve tried Sauvignon Blanc from Washington and California, but in terms of acidity and aroma they all felt inferior to Dutch wines. However, the beautiful mineral character of the Sauvignon Blanc I had at this restaurant completely changed my negative impression of American Sauvignon Blanc.

Yamhill Valley Vineyards
16250 SW Oldsville Rd, McMinnvilleWe stopped in here on a rainy day without a reservation and had a lovely time! We were the only group in the tasting room at first so we had a lovely one-on-one experience with the staff member (who of course we did not exchange names with!) She guided us through a tasting of a wide range of delicious wines and even provided us with some pinot noir grapes that were recently picked off the vine. The tasting room was a very cozy space. She was super knowledgeable about the winery and the region and provided us with recommendations for the rest of our trip. (Sorry we didn't catch your name! We were there on 9/29!)

Youngberg Hill Inn & Winery
10660 SW Youngberg Hill Rd, McMinnvilleI live in the San Francisco area Bay Area and wanted to spend my 65th birthday celebration in the Willamette Valley.
An amazing decision, furtherly THE BEST DECISION when having picked Youngberg Hill Inn & Winery as our home base.
Because we were there at low season, we got many chances to interact with owner Nicoletta, a most wonderful and captivating hostess.
Everything in our stay at Youngberg Hill Inn & Winery was A+++! And their wine tasting too, WOW!
My 65th birthday celebration was the best it could have been.
Thanks, Nicoletta. We can’t to come back again!

Bert’s Chuckwagon BBQ
1150 OR-99W, McMinnvilleAmazing BBQ food truck. We were in the mood for BBQ, looked it up and headed there. We didn't realize it was a food truck but we decided it looked awesome anyway. I had a pulled pork sandwich with one side: Mac and cheese. My partner had the brisket plate with two side and a roll. He chose tots and Mac and cheese. The meat was delicious. I chose original BBQ. My partner chose the mango habanero sauce and the owner got real excited and said it was his favorite. They had Pepsi products. You can call your order in ahead of time. They encourage it.

Homeward Bound Pets
10601 SE Loop Rd, McMinnvilleThis is my #1 place for item donations. Money raised here go directly back into the community to help provide medical care to animals. They give a voice to the voiceless.
As for the store, I seldom ever leave empty handed. It's a great show for cool finds, be it tools, clothes, or music. This place has everything.
