1116 Castle Shannon Blvd, Castle Shannon“This is a great place to find everything you need to refurb or even build a house. Lumber, tile, furniture, lighting, nails, doorknobs, outdoor stuff, doors, windows, cabinets and random everything! Don't buy new, bring your wish list and measurements and check here first. There is another small shop nearby for donated textiles, art supplies, jewelry, wallpaper, and other cool stuff for crafts and creations. Great community store.”
“The store is small, so you have to have the right mindset going in because they cram those racks to the brim. But once you get past the overwhelming amount of stuff to look through, it's an amazing spot. They always have a wide assortment of jewelry and belts/accessories to look through. I got a cool vintage bronze gauntlet thing there once. The other time I went they had this vintage matching suit that fit me perfectly. And every once In a while they have trash bag sales where you can fill a whole bag for a flat rate (I think it was like $10/bag) Pictured below is a few of the pieces I've thrifted from there in the past”
“My roommates and I adopted the light of our lives, little Archie, from this rescue! Incredibly kind people with an important mission. Pictures of my cutie are attached!”
“Beautiful thrift store inside and out. Items are thoughtfully displayed. Prices very reasonable plus the weekly color deals. Quality items. The staff and volunteers do a meticulous job tagging the clothing items and sizes (petites indicated on tags! Thank you!). Appreciate the Wednesday evening hours.”
“I was worried about visiting here. The other reviews were often negative.Went in everybody nice prices were good not sure why everybody was complaining, but it seemed like a nice thrift store to me”

7402 Church St, Pittsburgh“Amazing store for furniture! They have a large selection and many pieces are beautiful vintage/antiques. Items come and go, but they had lamps, mirrors, artwork, and gorgeous kitchen cabinets. Definitely worth trip to see what they have!”
“love helping people and giving stuff away for new home one mans trash another mans treasure especially when it comes to bulk items and friendly service. Everybody works there so awesome. when it comes to donate or thrift shopping, I’ll recommend you guys even when it’s clean out season from a school or neighbors ? which means I like to go to kennywood or sandcastle water park when I’m having fun like this after a hard day at work and helping others”

855 E Carson St, Pittsburgh“On a business trip to Pittsburgh, my suitcase got drenched. I had to find some dry clothes and suitcase fast. Salvation Army was a godsend. Managed to find a shirt and pants that fit me, of good quality that I wore to a business meeting. Worked well!”

7500 Thomas Blvd, Pittsburgh“I have been using Pitt Surplus for - it's gotta be 20 years? (Go ahead make me feel old.) From filing cabinets, shelving, unique storage needs, and equipment, to office chairs, and a like new couch--it's the best kept secret ever --and the folks are so professional, they could give lessons to certain academic departments. (It takes more than a degree to work productively as a team and interface with the public. These folks understand the assignment.)”

1116 Castle Shannon Blvd #1, Pittsburgh“Perfectly placed and decorated. I always find something everytime I shop. A various selection from vintage to Shabby to modern really great finds . I highly recommend.”
“Stumbled upon this new little thrift store from a Google search. What a hidden gem!! Stop in and check it out. Very nice stuff, unbelievably friendly staff/owner, and tons of little things you will just NEED to have. Prices are great! Tons of unique jewelry and bags. I cant wait to go back!!”

3 Urbano Way, Pittsburgh“This is my absolute favorite Goodwill and I've been to many. The staff is AWESOME. I'm very happy that they will now price things at the register if you find something with no price sticker. I have found so many beautiful "treasures" here including designer purses, clothing, shoes, jackets, cool furniture, and even great children's items. I think the pricing is fair and reasonable. Mondays are my favorite because seniors get 25% off! Check out the color of the week for a discount, and allow yourself enough time to browse. Catch the carts when they come out of the back door. ;) Thank you Robinson Goodwill for a wonderful shopping experience. (photos are of some of my recent treasure finds!)”
“They had a booth at Construction Junction's vintage mart, and I made a beeline for the Star Wars toys to buy something for my boyfriend. Found this 78 X-Wing Luke and a Miss Piggy McDonald's glass from 81. Very neat finds if you're a collector of fun toys of yesteryear. The earrings in the pic were from another lovely booth called The Serendipitous Find that had thrifted clothes and handmade jewelry.Definitely come on out to CJ during vintage mart! It's a lot of fun and the vendors work hard to put on a great event.”
“There’s plenty of parking and it’s fairly clean. We saw some nicer brands on occasion like Sonoma, Steve Madden, and Calvin Klein. It has a rather… used smell throughout the store but I’m sure it’s not easy to keep a Goodwill scentless.”
“We found some stuffed animals and some reasonably priced clothes. When the kids were little, we used to always come here for tags on clothes for kids. Still good. Always good to go thrifting in a ritzy area near a BMW dealership!”
“Best organized thrift store I’ve ever been in! Clothes very well sorted by type and color. Fewer books here compared to the average thrift store. A decent amount of furniture”

853 Seavey Rd, Millvale“Cute little thrifty store that we just happened to see driving pass. I know it's things that are used , giving and never washed but the smell was the only thing that I could not take after a fee mins. But if you are into deals for the throwback stuff, it's a store for you.”

1501 Reedsdale St #3003, Pittsburgh“My time of need practically penniless St. Vincent De Paul came to my rescue. I don’t know what I would’ve done. It was a blessing. I have worked my whole entire life. I did not know places like this existed. All I can say is I was blessed and I think God that people who are willing to give their time to help people in need. They are wonderful.”

2700 E Carson St, Pittsburgh“The best Goodwill I've ever been to for clothing. I went in WANTING a black puffy vest for fall and winter expecting to leave with nothing. I walked in and saw two perfect vests right there. I ran to them. Fit amazing. Got both.Tons of clothing to pick from.Very very long lines but who cares when you get name brand things for amazing prices.Would highly recommend. I definitely plan on coming back more often!!”
“Showed up when we had scheduled and called to let us know they were on their way. Nick, Mike, and James made quick work of moving our clutter furniture from our home in a friendly and professional manner. Overall great!”

6150 Mountain View Dr, West Mifflin“I went into the store today and it was 5:30 , they close at 6. I found something in 5 minutes and then went to check out. There were about 10 people in front of me, as the line went forward there were 2 people in front of me and they announced that the store was closed. There was an elderly gentleman in front of me that needed help taking off the staples and tags from his purchase. Mike the employee was so nice and helpful!!! He goes above and beyond to help people at this store. He was never short or rushing anyone and always with a And smile!”

“Great place to shop for clothes, shoes and cute knick knacks.I hope y'all always keep your prices low,.I can do my part,if you need a truck driver,i can get him to take 7.25 per hour,he worked there I think before the pandemic.”
“This is much favorite thrift store. Things are orderly and arranged by color which makes it easier and more efficient for me to shop. Places were marked clearly, and prices were very reasonable. Be sure to check out what color tags are discounted, as they had 2 colors that were 50% off and one 25% off the day we went! We'll definitely be back!”
10AM - 7PM
160 52nd St, Pittsburgh“My hubby and I went there to find some last minute clothes for him. He had a business casual interview the next day and we were on a tight budget. I was really happy with their selection. He was able to find a few nice shirts and pants. I was completely surprised that the cookware and dinnerware was priced so nicely. I ended up buying an instapot for $10. I'll definitely be coming back for some great deals.”
10AM - 7PM
5993 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh“compared to other goodwills i’ve been to, the items at this one are a lot better quality. the prices are a little higher but i didn’t mind as much since i didn’t have to sift through a bunch of poor quality stuff.”
10AM - 5PM
125 51st St, Pittsburgh“I haven't been in here for about a year but I was pleasantly surprised at how well organized this store has become. Clothing is separated by color and it's not over crowded. I was expecting prices to be high based on other reviews but they were reasonable to prices on eBay w/o the shipping. If you're looking for something specific, just a nice shirt or a pair of pants with out having to dig thru the mounds of overpriced stained clothing at goodwill around the corner then this is your place.”
10AM - 7PM
2866 Banksville Rd, Pittsburgh“I may be biased, but I love my dad's cooking. He is the most hardworking & dedicated man to his job. Every time I go I am never disappointed. One of the best places I've eaten at in the Pittsburgh area.”
9AM - 6PM
890 Saw Mill Run Blvd, Pittsburgh“They have sooooo much, from clothes to hats to decor to underwear and socks! Huge pictures, clocks, storage items, books, dvds.. well you get the picture! Only downfall is the clothes go buy color and not size, and the only reason anyone would make a store like that is there too lazy to look at the tag and instead, if it’s out of place, it’s easily known by the color. Besides that this is a must stop and shop if you’re in Pittsburgh!”
“Something for everyone . If you haven’t visited recently, you should check it out again - much improved. Accessing can be a little tricky now because of construction on Castle Shannon Blvd., but its worth the trip.”
