“Beautiful thrift store inside and out. Items are thoughtfully displayed. Prices very reasonable plus the weekly color deals. Quality items. The staff and volunteers do a meticulous job tagging the clothing items and sizes (petites indicated on tags! Thank you!). Appreciate the Wednesday evening hours.”

“Amazing store for furniture! They have a large selection and many pieces are beautiful vintage/antiques. Items come and go, but they had lamps, mirrors, artwork, and gorgeous kitchen cabinets. Definitely worth trip to see what they have!”

“This is a great place to find everything you need to refurb or even build a house. Lumber, tile, furniture, lighting, nails, doorknobs, outdoor stuff, doors, windows, cabinets and random everything! Don't buy new, bring your wish list and measurements and check here first. There is another small shop nearby for donated textiles, art supplies, jewelry, wallpaper, and other cool stuff for crafts and creations. Great community store.”

“On a business trip to Pittsburgh, my suitcase got drenched. I had to find some dry clothes and suitcase fast. Salvation Army was a godsend. Managed to find a shirt and pants that fit me, of good quality that I wore to a business meeting. Worked well!”

“I have been using Pitt Surplus for - it's gotta be 20 years? (Go ahead make me feel old.) From filing cabinets, shelving, unique storage needs, and equipment, to office chairs, and a like new couch--it's the best kept secret ever --and the folks are so professional, they could give lessons to certain academic departments. (It takes more than a degree to work productively as a team and interface with the public. These folks understand the assignment.)”

“Lovey antique shop right outside of pittsburgh. WOW, was I impressed. Not only were the associates beyond helpful, they are quick to act. I found two items without prices and immediately the associate contacted the vendor. I was able to leave with both items that day for an awesome price. If you thrift, the average place will not sell you anything without a price tag. Not only will this store follow-up with its vendors, but they knew each one of them by name. That was so meaningful. As a vendor, you are generally overlooked and just a “number” for the business. My experience here really embraced the family feel and I am so happy I stopped. This will be a go to for me for years to come. 10/10!”

“The store is small, so you have to have the right mindset going in because they cram those racks to the brim. But once you get past the overwhelming amount of stuff to look through, it's an amazing spot. They always have a wide assortment of jewelry and belts/accessories to look through. I got a cool vintage bronze gauntlet thing there once. The other time I went they had this vintage matching suit that fit me perfectly. And every once In a while they have trash bag sales where you can fill a whole bag for a flat rate (I think it was like $10/bag) Pictured below is a few of the pieces I've thrifted from there in the past”

“Best organized thrift store I’ve ever been in! Clothes very well sorted by type and color. Fewer books here compared to the average thrift store. A decent amount of furniture”

“They had a booth at Construction Junction's vintage mart, and I made a beeline for the Star Wars toys to buy something for my boyfriend. Found this 78 X-Wing Luke and a Miss Piggy McDonald's glass from 81. Very neat finds if you're a collector of fun toys of yesteryear. The earrings in the pic were from another lovely booth called The Serendipitous Find that had thrifted clothes and handmade jewelry.Definitely come on out to CJ during vintage mart! It's a lot of fun and the vendors work hard to put on a great event.”

I definitely plan on coming back more often!!”

“My time of need practically penniless St. Vincent De Paul came to my rescue. I don’t know what I would’ve done. It was a blessing. I have worked my whole entire life. I did not know places like this existed. All I can say is I was blessed and I think God that people who are willing to give their time to help people in need. They are wonderful.”

“My hubby and I went there to find some last minute clothes for him. He had a business casual interview the next day and we were on a tight budget. I was really happy with their selection. He was able to find a few nice shirts and pants. I was completely surprised that the cookware and dinnerware was priced so nicely. I ended up buying an instapot for $10. I'll definitely be coming back for some great deals.”

“This is my absolute favorite Goodwill and I've been to many. The staff is AWESOME. I'm very happy that they will now price things at the register if you find something with no price sticker. I have found so many beautiful "treasures" here including designer purses, clothing, shoes, jackets, cool furniture, and even great children's items. I think the pricing is fair and reasonable. Mondays are my favorite because seniors get 25% off! Check out the color of the week for a discount, and allow yourself enough time to browse. Catch the carts when they come out of the back door. ;) Thank you Robinson Goodwill for a wonderful shopping experience. (photos are of some of my recent treasure finds!)”

“I haven't been in here for about a year but I was pleasantly surprised at how well organized this store has become. Clothing is separated by color and it's not over crowded. I was expecting prices to be high based on other reviews but they were reasonable to prices on eBay w/o the shipping. If you're looking for something specific, just a nice shirt or a pair of pants with out having to dig thru the mounds of overpriced stained clothing at goodwill around the corner then this is your place.”

“This is much favorite thrift store. Things are orderly and arranged by color which makes it easier and more efficient for me to shop. Places were marked clearly, and prices were very reasonable. Be sure to check out what color tags are discounted, as they had 2 colors that were 50% off and one 25% off the day we went! We'll definitely be back!”

“compared to other goodwills i’ve been to, the items at this one are a lot better quality. the prices are a little higher but i didn’t mind as much since i didn’t have to sift through a bunch of poor quality stuff.”

“Monday is senior day at Goodwill (25% off) so my mom wanted to come. She found home items in good condition she was happy about. I didn't find anything. I was looking for sweaters and there were barely any. Seems like their summer cloths were still out. Maybe Monday isn't a good day to go after the weekend rush.”

“They have sooooo much, from clothes to hats to decor to underwear and socks! Huge pictures, clocks, storage items, books, dvds.. well you get the picture! Only downfall is the clothes go buy color and not size, and the only reason anyone would make a store like that is there too lazy to look at the tag and instead, if it’s out of place, it’s easily known by the color. Besides that this is a must stop and shop if you’re in Pittsburgh!”

“I may be biased, but I love my dad's cooking. He is the most hardworking & dedicated man to his job. Every time I go I am never disappointed. One of the best places I've eaten at in the Pittsburgh area.”

“I love this chain of thrifts! They have a lot of very good brands and not everything is affordable but the amount of great stuff makes up for it. The jewelry selection is always fun to browse too! The lines are long at checkout and they only take cash so come prepared!”

“Open until November 20 and then they will \"reevaluate in the spring\". Very sad to hear. Would've been nice if they had stayed open until December for those searching for Christmas gifts. Prices are very friendly with some items being as low as 25 cents like for silverware or a nice bowl or plate. Found a round cake pan in excellent condition with the side that removes for about $2. Then I have found nice sweaters and other winter items for $5 or below like Loft or White Market Black House brands. Last find was a reversible lined vest jacket for $2. Parking is free. Hours are limited to Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Thursday staff is especially friendly so I usually go then. They are having a special sale the week of November 16th and then they will shut down for what will hopefully be a temporary hiatus. Praying they will continue soon as this place is a treasure.”
