“this is one of my favorite thrift stores. all the money goes to helping animals, you can adopt a cat here as the upstairs houses cats for adoption, all of the volunteers are very nice n go above n beyond, and the prices are unbeatable. I don't want to write this great review because I want to be greedy n keep this gem for myself but they truly deserve to be recognized for the glorious job they do.”
“Absolutely lovely experience. Everything is so nicely laid out, and you could explore forever and still find so many treasures to take home. Everyone working there was so pleasant and kind, I can't wait to go back!”
“Cool place to shop for a DIY project, remodeling, or just need some cheap construction supplies. Everything is pretty well organized into sections.
They offer a lot of different items like lumber, tiles, tools, furniture, light fixtures, windows, etc. There is also a section called 'The Attic' which includes more household items. Such as clothing, glassware, books, movies, decor, etc. I ended up getting a nice bedside table and a pretty antique style stained glass light fixture.”
“I love this thrift store! It's always decorated for the season or a holiday. Their displays are so nice. It's bright and clean. They have a nice selection of household items at a great price! I got a brand new mini-waffle maker for $7.00! The clothes are definitely a little bit higher priced than some thrift stores, but the quality of the brands more than makes up for it. Their selection of books is fantastic. There are special sales every week and proceeds go to a great cause.”
“Came here with my wife to check it out. The lady was super nice and she gave my wife an amazing price on a really nice quality bag. We're excited to come back and check out her store again!!”

“Love this thrift store but the last 2 times I donated I got a cranky old man in a yellow vest named Russ. His attitude completely changes when he find out you didn't sort your donations. Where does the sign say to sort them? No where. I even apologized and he makes you feel like you inconvenienced him and the whole staff. If he is a volunteer...go volunteer someplace that you're not miserable! I will never donate there again. I would rather throw it in the trash than deal with his annoying self.”
“I visited here while visiting Pittsburgh and I'm so glad I was able to go, fairly small place but lots to look at. They also had greeting cards for the upcoming holiday (Halloween) along with decorations, costumes etc, right in front of the store. I picked up 10-12 small items including an unopened lego bag kit for a small car, I paid $5 - ridiculously affordable. I never caught the employee's name but she was so nice, I was the only customer for a bit so we talked a while about different things. Definitely one of my favorite memories from the trip was going to that thrift store.”

“Hands down one of the best thrift experiences in Pittsburgh. Everything is color coordinated which de- stresses the eye looking for items. It is always clean, and organized. Staff is very kind and genuinely great to interact with. Love the .99 color everyday plus 2 additional colors 50% every week. Makes items affordable daily as opposed to other thrift brands only do Sunday discounts. I enjoy coming there to thrift. Bravo to Management it shows they take pride in there store.”

“Interesting place. They had everything. Some items were well used some in original packaging. My first time there. Another place you need to know regular pricing on items. Want to go to another one in a different area, to see how they compare. Worth stopping by to look around. Stores support habitat for humanity.”
“They had a booth at Construction Junction's vintage mart, and I made a beeline for the Star Wars toys to buy something for my boyfriend. Found this 78 X-Wing Luke and a Miss Piggy McDonald's glass from 81. Very neat finds if you're a collector of fun toys of yesteryear. The earrings in the pic were from another lovely booth called The Serendipitous Find that had thrifted clothes and handmade jewelry.Definitely come on out to CJ during vintage mart! It's a lot of fun and the vendors work hard to put on a great event.”
“My time of need practically penniless St. Vincent De Paul came to my rescue. I don’t know what I would’ve done. It was a blessing. I have worked my whole entire life. I did not know places like this existed. All I can say is I was blessed and I think God that people who are willing to give their time to help people in need. They are wonderful.”

“I love the Goodwill on the Southside East Carson Street every time I go there I hate to leave so much stuff to buy Knight's furniture beautiful clothes I can't wait to go back nice place to park 🏞”
“Great place to shop for clothes, shoes and cute knick knacks.I hope y'all always keep your prices low,.I can do my part,if you need a truck driver,i can get him to take 7.25 per hour,he worked there I think before the pandemic.”
“Great deals in a clean & pleasant store. Items are rotated regularly, so you're sure to see different wares next week. Staff are kind & helpful: TY!”
“Great place one of my favorites to get girly clothes. Thrifting may not be what it used to but I know how to search for what I want and to look for the colored tags that are on discount. Crop tops for $2.50, dresses for anything around $18 usually I find ones cheaper than that based on what I look for, quality jackets for around $15. Sometimes there are bigger tickets items bc of brand or something but I tend to just ignore them. There are even funny tshirts, I found one with Krusty the Clown on it (from The Simpsons).
This place is mainly good for it's clothes not as great for items which is completely ok.
Also as a trans person that was denied having a girly childhood and teen years, this place is so so so good for finding some cheap items to try out, feel, and see if it meshes with your look/style so you know and can get higher quality items that are similar elsewhere or here, wherever obvi.”
“They actually have a lot of great stuff. Great selection of clothes some furniture a lot of knickknacks and lots and lots and lots of coffee pots great place highly recommend. The staff was so friendly.”
“I heard about this place through TikTok and wanted to check it out in person to see why so many people like shopping here. It’s definitely an interesting place! They have a lot of great clothes, and everything is very organized. I was even able to score a vintage Adidas coat for only $7.99! What?! 😱
If you’re into thrifting or reselling, this place is definitely for you!”

“Upscale thrift store catering to better and vintage clothing customers. They also had some housewares and furniture. This would be a very good place to pick up a Suit or Dress for a night out or a Business meeting”
“Get there early bc it's crazy competitive! Great finds for sure. Just watch for resalers. They r out of control for sure. They charge bins every once in awhile - so get ready. Clothes get weighed and everything else is changed separately. Keep them separate in ur cart. Makes it way easier at checkout”

“The prices can be wild sometimes but it's massive in here and the color tag days are fun. Got most of the house supplies I needed that I could get from a thrift store here, and some nice winter sweaters on a color tag sale day so it can be good for stuff like that, or just to go hunting for a weird lil knickknack or coffee mug to brighten your space if you're on a shoestring budget or really like thrifting. The staff are really wonderful and fun at the checkout. Only downside is the line can be chaos, which is not really a big complaint, it be like that sometimes. The furniture pricing is probably the craziest thing here, but for general housewares and pots/pans/plates and most clothes etc it's okay. If you're good in a color tag sale day you can get a pretty decent selection of things you need by just shopping around that like it's a challenge.”
“I like this place a lot but I have a problem with the card fee on EVERY CARD. It is not legal to charge debit cards 3 percent. I realize this place does a lot of good but it still annoys me so I bring cash. Staff is always delightful and I always find something good. They have an entire dress section upstairs”
