“We stopped in Pittsburgh during our road trip from Toronto to Charleston, SC and stayed at The Priory Hotel on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.We hadn't booked a hotel when we left home, just because we never know how far we're going to be able to drive. Sometimes we get tired sooner rather than later...and other times, we end up pushing through for a few more hours. So, we try not to book and book on the way. This is what we did this time too. We called The Priory and told them we'd be arriving by midnight and if they had a room for us. Thankfully, they had a King room, so we booked it on the spot.Parking is very convenient. Just across the street and is included in your stay...as is a cute little takeaway breakfast the next morning. The check-in process was very easy and quick. Our room was extremely clean and spacious. They've done a lovely job of restoring this beautiful old building into large rooms that are very comfortable and convenient. The next morning, we went to pick up our takeaway breakfast and were back on the road for the rest of our trip. We'll definitely be staying at The Priory Hotel any time we're in the area or even passing through. Highly recommend!”

“This hotel is a great place to stay in. The workers are kind and the breakfast is great. There is also a pool and a gym to pass time. The rooms are nice but could be a bit cleaner. There are many things very close to it too which is nice. Over all I had a great stay.”

“My husband and I spent the last few days in Pittsburgh for his 40th birthday. I found The Parador Inn of Pittsburgh when searching for a place to stay near the stadium. I can’t say enough positive things about Ed, his beautiful dog (Rayzette), and the Parador Inn as a whole! Ed and Rayzette were so extremely friendly and welcoming; they made us feel at home from the moment we walked through the front doors. It’s clear to see that Ed takes pride in this gorgeous property, loves his adorable neighborhood, and genuinely enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. Our room was comfortable, clean, and felt so tropical. The Parador Inn is in a really great location, and close to many different attractions. Ed also prepares and serves a delicious breakfast each morning. (If you’re visiting in December, you’re going to feel as if you just walked into a Christmas Hallmark Movie, which is awesome in my opinion!) We can’t recommend The Parador Inn enough, and we hope to visit again in the future! Thank you for being such an incredible host, Ed; you and Rayzette are wonderful!!! ?”

“We highly recommend Pittsburgh's Grand Hall for your wedding!!!!! Every single guest mentioned how beautiful the venue was, and how well-run and organized the venue handled our wedding. Not to mention The Priory hotel is attached which was convenient for our out of town guests! There was nothing more we could have asked for. The wedding packages were very inclusive, and everything ran like clockwork!”

“This is my second time staying here, and I love it. It was my partner and my anniversary, and they had a nice little surprise for us. Everything was clean and modern. Tons of nice little touches made it seem like a much more expensive stay than it actually was. I will absolutely be back if I need to stay in the areaWalkability: Easy walk to coffee and resteraunts”

“We had a wonderful stay!! I'm from Pittsburgh and drove by this place 1000 times! I had no idea it was a place to stay until recently. The mansion is gorgeous and the architecture is beautiful. The wood work in this place is mind blowing!!! It's amazing! Top grade craftsmanship went into building this place and renovating it.The night we got there, there was a party downstairs on the main floor around the main entrance. We pulled up and could hear the music. Parking gave us a bit of anxiety but it worked out. We did get a spot around back. They have valet parking. The valet driver just told us where to park so we followed that direction. he also asked us before parking if we had plans on leaving. That's important because if you want to leave and there is a party, it could take a good bit to get your car out. We didn't have an issue because we stayed in.We stayed up on the 3rd floor. This place is so big and so solid that we couldn't hear a peep coming from the party on the first floor!!! Our room was big and private. We didn't encounter anyone else on our floor the whole weekend. There were no noisy people upstairs or beside us or roaming the halls. The place is so solid that we didn't hear a peep!!! The bathroom in our room had a nice shower, TV, comfy bed. There is a staircase and stained glass window as soon as you walk in the main entrance that's breathtaking. we walked a few streets over the next day to Pamela's for breakfast which I would also recommend. We had a great stay. I think there are extras you can add on to your stay like butler service or breakfast but we didn't do that. we were just kind of left to enjoy and we loved that! The lady that checked us in and out was so nice. It was really incredible to see this place if you are a fan of architecture. Chefs kiss!!I do think it would be helpful if they had a little map or something for people that stay. Trying to figure out how to get to our room took us a few minutes because we had to check in inside the house next door, walk into the mansion, take the elevator up and figure out how to get up to 3. The lady that checked us in gave us directions that were clear but when you don't know where you are going it takes a few minutes to figure out the route. We figured out 2 ways to get up to the 3rd floor. There's probably more the place is so big. It's really an awesome place. I would say go if you want a weekend away and are from pgh. It's so much better than a hotel!!! It's top notch!”

“We stayed in a 2 Queen guestroom. Room clean and modern. Fantastic view. Staff professional and pleasant. Minor hiccups taken care of efficiently. Good location - felt safe walking around outdoors. Easy drive to everything. Parking for a fee in adjacent lot or parking deck right across the street. Easy in and out with the car - just have parking ticket stamped upon checking in. Walking distance to restaurants such as Hard Rock Cafe, Grand Concourse and more. Walking distance to Monongahela Incline that takes you to incredible views of the city. We didn't use the pool, but it looked inviting. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.”

“Rooms were clean and friendly staff. Pool looked a bit cloudy and maybe could have used some chemical treatment. It’s in a busy area but not too bad to get in and out of. Low cost stay and close to downtown!”

“Very comfortable stay, and very welcoming and helpful staff. Good location with lots of food places around. Hotel is a little dated, with some paint peeling, but beds were very comfy, bathroom was clean and well equipped.”

“The front manager was very nice and accommodating and gave us two rooms next to each other on the first floor. The rooms are big and so was the bathroom. Everything looked very nice but both rooms had a horrid odor. Good thing we brought room spray, after spraying the rooms they were perfect for the night. We felt safe and were comfortable!”

“This place is always nice and clean. I just wish the workers were more friendly. I have greeted them in the past and they were just plain ignorant. I don't like my job either but at least I'm Pleasant to people.”

“Overall was not impressed. I had a high expectation for this hotel and felt that I was not treated with respect from the staff when arriving. Alongside the hotel fridge smelled like mold and was covered with various fluids and could not use it. I thought the room itself was run down and not as well kept as it was portrayed to be. Overall was disappointed especially for the price paid, if you are looking to stay somewhere nice stay somewhere else..”

“I chose this hotel after reading reviews and comparing prices of all 3 in the immediate area and was not disappointed. The front desk person at check in was very friendly. She even commented the next morning on something from our discussion at check in. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Ask for an even numbered room if you want to keep an eye on your car in the parking lot.The breakfast selection was plentiful and fresh and the dining space was clean. The attendant was very friendly. We went to a show at the Pittsburgh Improv, located within the Waterfront shopping center, and we chose to walk there from the hotel. Not too far and much better than driving with all the holiday traffic.”

“Dave was awesome, as well as the ladies at the check-in desk. Room was clean and nice, proximity to downtown amenities was perfect and parking was ample. Our only complaint was someone else's child pooped in the pool, so it was closed for the duration of our stay. Obviously not something the hotel can control.Proximity to the highway could be noisy if you're sensitive to it, but it didn't bother us.The deck next door had free EV charging too, which was great.”
