“Can’t say enough good things about the team at Buck Mason on King Street. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with waters and a warm welcome. One of the team members gave us a tour of the store, helped me try on two jackets, and shared some real insight into the products.
He wasn’t just helpful—he clearly loves what he does and embodies everything about the Buck Mason brand. With his guidance, I ended up choosing a killer chore field coat that I’m genuinely excited to wear.

“I did not visit the store BUT I bought the king street tote bag online (I couldn't find where to do a review on it on the website) and y'all.... this thing will fit so much stuff. Today I used it for a work bag and I fit a laptop, a tablet, a 2nd slim computer screen, a pack of printer paper, a small notebook, a 2 inch binder, a 3 whole punch, mouse, number pad, a computer charger, a yeti slim koozie, and a small bag with pens. Do yourself a favor and BUY IT.”

“Today was the first time I had ever visited Maris DeHart’s store, and I was pleasantly surprised by all of the fun fashion she carries. I found a wonderful denim dress that I know I’ll enjoy wearing. The shop is filled with colorful, unique pieces that make browsing a lot of fun.

“I was in Charleston for a short business trip and had a few hours of free time. I walked a few retail stores on King street. Most of them were not my style so I looked up consignment stores in the area. I am so glad I stopped by Ensemble! This store rivals my favorites in San Francisco! The store is very well organized, clean and--hey--I like the scent. I tried on a lot of items and came away with 5 beautiful pieces. 2 skirts were on the expensive side ($200) but were soooooo unique and luxury brands! I love, love, love them! I also bought 3 tops that were $39-$75 and fantastic. One top even goes well with one of the skirts. For the naysayers on prices, I suggest looking up the brands online for retail prices and you will see the value you are getting with consignment shopping. Clara was great too :)”

“I visited this store a few months ago while searching for a very specific clutch for a wedding, so I was definitely on a mission. I was warmly greeted when I arrived and appreciated being allowed to browse on my own without feeling pressured.
When I made my way to the accessories section, I didn’t see the clutch I had come for, so I asked a nearby sales associate for help. She brought over Desmond, a senior personal shopper, who immediately took the time to look into it further. After confirming the item wasn’t currently on the floor, he checked their system and discovered that the one remaining clutch they had in stock was actually in their warehouse.
I was thrilled. I purchased it on the spot, and it was delivered to my residence a day or two later at no extra charge.
One thing that also stood out to me was how quickly their inventory system updated — almost immediately after my purchase, the item showed as out of stock online. It gave me confidence that their inventory is accurate and well managed. I also appreciate that they don’t seem to heavily stock large quantities of the same items, which makes purchases feel a bit more unique and special.
Overall, it was a great experience with attentive but unobtrusive service, and Desmond in particular was incredibly helpful.”
