“No, I do not like big banks,, especially after having worked with two. I was told that First Palmetto's home office was in Camden and that is all I needed to know. I have banked with them for about seven years now and I decided to approach them for a loan to repair my car. No, I will not share with the reader the details of how I crashed my car into my own garage...I sheepishly went to my 'home branch' of First Palmetto on Forest Drive and spoke with the loan officer, after having made an appointment with him. I was embarrassed, as I had never secured a loan before - even at my age. The loan officer immediately made me feel comfortable and most importantly, he made me feel like I was more than just another customer. This guy is good at it, even though I am old enough to be his grandmother.I am so looking forward to having my car repaired and not have to drive around looking like Evel Knievel's stunt person.”

“I have yet to have anything but extremely smooth and trouble-free experiences at this location. I really appreciate the spots in the parking garage reserved for First Horizon as they provide quick access to the building. They validate parking and have actually reminded me of this on one occasion where I forgot to ask. It is somewhat hard to find if you are not familiar with downtown Columbia, but that was easily solved with a quick phone call when I got lost trying to find it on my first visit after moving here from TN. It is also fair to point out that this location is immaculate inside. Everything is clean and dust free. It always smells like a home rather than a business. The staff always dress sharp but not too formal. It really is an ideal experience. I just wish they would open a branch in Lexington for those of us who moved here from towns and cities where they have many locations. ??”

“Had to come to the drive thru to pay my yearly car registration. You can pay with cash or a check. You will be mailed ur decal. But the rep was helpful. It was an easy process, I gave him my money and ticket, he returned with my receipt. Not sure how their banking is.”
