The Obstinate Daughter
2063 Middle Street, Sullivan's IslandWe chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday after hearing so many great recommendations. The food was excellent, and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. Unfortunately, the service felt a little inattentive, which was disappointing, especially for a special occasion.
We were not offered a high chair for our toddler, so he had to sit on the bench beside us, which made the meal more difficult. When we arrived for dinner, the staff also seemed to be having a meeting nearby, and we felt a little uncomfortable as a family with a playful toddler.
That said, the food was truly delicious, and I would like to come back another time and hopefully have a better overall experience.

Republic Ice Cream
2120 Middle St, Sullivan's IslandLove that all their flavors are gluten free! And they even have gluten free waffle cones!
On top of that the ice cream was delicious. Shout out to Republic for including us gluten free folks - highly recommend! Will be back!
