She offered extended help when my husband was going through treatment for cancer. She has seen us through 2 dogs we eventually had to put to sleep. Her love of animals and empathy for both the animals and their owners is unmatched. Now my Goldendoodle loves her too. Anyone that has asked about a vet Dr. Benton has always been our recommendation. We love the entire staff.

The Cool Dog Country Club
3357 Business Circle, North CharlestonI’ve known Charlie for nearly 25 years(!), and in all that time, we’ve never hurt for conversation thanks to our shared love for all things music and dogs. So, when I found myself at the beach with nowhere to house my Maggie May during a vacation-rental switcharoo (and heatwave, naturally), I knew just the person to call.
This facility is massive and clean. Tons of indoor and outdoor play space, top-of-the-line kennels, and a pool, to boot! Our rental ended up being ready immediately after dropping Maggie off, but I was so impressed with the CDCC that I decided to leave her there to play rather than sit in a hotel room. And, since we were vacationing on Folly, Charlie even gave Maggie a lift to his West Ashley location to ease my pick-up commute!
I knew Charlie would only offer the best - but I’m truly blown away by what he’s built. If you have any reservations about sending your pup to him, let them go. He’s the best!

We needed a place to get a quick lunch before our massages & we decided on this place. We were seated immediately by the sweetest woman who ended up taking care of us during our hour dining with them. My husband ordered a blonde lager on tap, which he had said was the best beer he had received during our time here. My husband ordered the shrimp/crawfish po’boy which he stated was delicious and packed with every bite & I ordered a shrimp basket which threw just about every shrimp basket I’ve ever had out of the park. The pecan cornbread that comes with the basket is honestly a desert in itself, and I think if it asked me to marry it I just might’ve. We got the beignets for desert, & as someone that’s been to NOLA these are the closest ones I’ve had to beignets in NOLA. Smaller in size but fluffy perfection after a large lunch! The woman who took care of us was definitely our favorite part about this place, I only wish we had remembered her name but we will most certainly be back just to look for her again. If you ever want to be greeted & treated like family this is the place to go.

Leading up to the event, Karen was communicative and accommodating of our requests. During the event, the staff was attentive, friendly, and flexible throughout the event. The space was open and had a wonderful view of the river - so many guests commented on how gorgeous the view was. The food and drink was highly regarded. We would definitely recommend this brewery and space for your next event!
