I've had no experience with this and I knew there are very strict rules about compliance so i asked for assistance. The store manager, Christine Olinski, was so helpful in helping me choose the right size carrier and just talking me through my concerns. Ms. Olinski also recommended a certain style/size of the attachable feeding cups and ordered them online to be delivered to my home.
I truly appreciated the time and interest she took to assist me yesterday.
I'd also like to compliment Myla, the associate who checked me out. She was sweet and patient while we ordered the feeding cups and then i got a few more items before checking out.

She did fantastic which was great news because she had a bad experience boarding previously. She came back very happy and I knew she had a great time. I recommend this place and I feel a bit envious of the Charleston residents having it available to them since we do not live in South Carolina.

2398 Clements Ferry Road, CharlestonSue and Marie are truly the sweetest groomers we’ve ever experienced. They were so incredibly patient, gentle, and caring with our older German Shepherd, Candy. As she got older and grooming became more difficult for her, they always gave her extra attention and care to make sure she was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire process.
What also meant so much to us was how genuinely they cared about getting to know us as a family, not just Candy as a client. They always took the time to ask how everyone was doing, remembered little details about our lives, and made us feel truly valued and cared for every time we walked through the door. Their kindness and warmth went far beyond grooming and made us feel like part of the Tails Gone Wild family.
At previous groomers, Candy would shake nervously and try to run back to me at drop off, which always broke my heart. But with Tails Gone Wild, everything changed. Candy was genuinely excited to go there, which says everything about the love and trust Sue and Marie built with her.
It’s rare to find people who care for your dog as if they were their own, but that’s exactly how we felt every time we brought Candy in. We are so grateful for the kindness, patience, and compassion they showed her over the years and would recommend them to anyone looking for groomers who truly love animals.

148 Line St, CharlestonCarrie is the BEST! She got my Wheaten Terrier - Mini Poodle mix in very quickly and got him cleaned UP! He looks amazing, and it was the first time that I think he actually had an enjoyable experience getting groomed. I feel so comfortable leaving my baby there! A couple of weeks later, she groomed my Great Pyrenees - Border Collie mix and he's never looked better. 10/10 recommended getting your dog(s) in here!

I was able to schedule a same-day appointment because my guy was feeling sick after introducing him to a new kitten. The check in process was seamless, I didn’t wait long, and the care was phenomenal. The physical exam was thorough and the doc was great about letting me deliver the full history of present illness before coming to a conclusion. The Dx wound up being stress due to his new brother, for which they offered several (3+) treatment modalities. I am pleased to say the treatment is working and I will be taking both my cats here from now on.

Here he’s been welcomed with open arms and treated with so much patience. Even after he refused to take his medication the morning of, they still were able to sedate him & do what was needed. I appreciate a vet that has an understanding that some cats just come extra spicy. My cat Salmon (Sal) says thank you even if he didn’t say it whilst at the practice. I thank you all as well, for I will not be (completely) dreading his appointment next year. Hopefully Salmon feels the same one day. (He wont)

CharlestonIf you have a reactive dog that barks at everything, DO THE TRAINING! Griffin helped us with our young dog and saved our sanity. Not even done with all our training sessions yet but we can tell this was the best investment we’ve ever made. All the staff are so sweet and helpful, our trainer has helped us with everything we’ve asked, and the price is fair. It’s all positive reinforcement so you don’t have to worry about your pup being shocked or yelled at. Our dog LOVES Griffin because he gets rewarded for being good.

I got the salted brown sugar latte and avocado toast the first day and the peanut butter cookie latte the second day, it was all delicious. What I noticed most of all is the attention to every little detail in the aesthetic of the place (bathroom walls are fabulous). They use fiestaware for all their hot drinks and the music choices are killer. The staff is super friendly and there’s a cat that hangs out on the patio :)

Pet Helpers Adoption Center and Spay/Neuter Clinic
1447 Folly Road, CharlestonWhere do I even start, I walked into pet helpers a week ago with my boyfriend just to see potential options for a pet for me and found my soul dog. I was originally thinking I would get a cat due to my schedule and how my life is but I’ve always been a dog girl. I saw a beautiful pup that I went to adopt but unfortunately three other people put their information down to adopt her so I was definitely not going home with her that day. I know the staff was just taking a chance when they told me they had another sweet girl in the other building recovering from her spaying surgery that they thought I would love but they were dead on with that suggestion! I met cider and instantly had to take her home so they gave me every bit of information I needed, informed me that she didn’t have any health issues (including no heartworms, which as a former foster parent I knew was RARE), and that they thought my lifestyle and home life would work well with her. Her name is now Burleigh, named after my favorite town in Australia and I’ve taken every suggestion and advice from the shelter to give her the best life with me and she’s living the dream. She’s been incredible with crate training, potty training is going better than I thought it would, she loves all people and dogs, doesn’t bark and is living her new toys, bed and life with me. I can’t thank pet helpers enough for my baby girl, to many more years of loving my Burleigh girly!
