Will be eating here again and was very happy! Bartender was fantastic and atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting.

The Washout
41 Center St, Folly BeachWe’ve been coming to Folly for many years now, but never stopped at the Washout until recently. The bar area is so large that I never really thought of it as a proper restaurant while passing by, that was a mistake!
While the bar is huge, the dining room & outside patio areas are far enough away from the bar so that it’s not distracting for other patrons. It’s easy to have conversation, unless it’s karaoke night!
We ordered an appetizer of the fried Mac and cheese bites, a classic cheeseburger with fries and trio fried seafood basket with fried flounder, fried shrimp, fried oysters, French fries and coleslaw.
I don’t usually go for fried macaroni & cheese bites, but I’m glad I tried these. They’re absolutely delicious. I can’t tell if they’re frozen or fresh, regardless, they’re very cheesy, taste great & the breading is light & flaky. If you’re going to The Washout; order these & thank me later.
The fried seafood basket was cooked to a beautiful golden brown. It was very fresh and I especially enjoyed the oysters, they’re by far the best I’ve found on Folly.
The cheeseburger was really good, char grilled & seasoned well. Pickle spears are always nice & this one tasted like a fresh made pickle, it was delicious! The fries are great; the Cajun seasoning is amazing.
Service was outstanding, very fast & friendly.
My final impressions of The Washout: fresh, delicious, memorable, fun. The next time I’m in the mood for seafood & cocktails on Folly, I’ll be headed here!

Loggerhead's Beach Grill

Purely beach vibes everyone is so kind, the food and drinks were all spectacular. I still think of this place to this day! The lowcountry lemonade cocktail was to die for!
