Shampoo, conditioner, sensitive skin products, aprons, towels, pet dryers, hot and cold water, brushes, and combs are all provided. And they clean the tubs in between each client. $18 per dog (which is a bargain!)
There are three stainless steel tubs with silicone loops to keep your dog in tub. They are all in one room in the back of the store.
I typically call first to know if there's a line Since one of my dogs is reactive. I have been told by the employees that the weekends are very busy with self-serve washes So I go Monday through Thursday before 3pm.

My normally shy cat started immediately rubbing against a staff member after being taken out of his carrier. It was like he KNEW they were cat people! They were very knowledgeable, and clearly informed me about everything they would do for him while he was there. When I picked him up he was so calm in his carrier, and was a little angel the whole way home. He went right back to normal after getting home. I couldn’t have asked for a more incredible experience. We will be back!

A special shout out to Bentley who always goes the extra mile to make sure all the dogs are happy. We have boarded them. and we get them bathed there. Their deshedding bath and dryer really does help with shedding !!! I have two labs and they are the first service that actually helped stop the shedding!!!

Zen Dog Daycare
307 Mill St, Mt PleasantI love Zen Dog Daycare. I took my pup to three different daycares in Mount Pleasant before finding Zen Dog. The others weren’t giving him the love or individual care that I wanted him to have while I work. At Zen Dog, they knew my pup by name after his second visit. He is really shy and gets scared, but he always is wagging his tail when we walk in and he sees whoever is sitting at the front desk. I could not recommend Zen Dog Daycare enough!

They provide top notch vet and technician care . During my visit, another client was extremely rude to me and thanks to the staff and especially Lauren Parks for handling a very difficult situation. Often veterinary offices not only need to manage and care for our pets, but are called upon to deal with humans as well. She did a remarkable job.

Animal Eye Care Associates
3400 Salterbeck St Suite 104, Mt PleasantWhile at our beach place over Christmas, our 17yo had a painful eye issue flare up. A local Myrtle Beach vet (that we managed to get an appt with) called to see if Animal Eye Care could see our litte old man, as they were concerned about a pending rupture. Animal Eye Care was willing to see us immediately and even called me 3 times during my 1.5 hr rush drive to get to them (to be sure I knew where they were located, to check on him, and to get my ETA as it was almost closing time and they were waiting for him). Everyone at the office was absolutely WONDERFUL...the front desk, techs, and MD! They rushed to see our boy the minute we walked in...to evaluate his eye. The care they showed my old man was incredible, even at closing time! The MD even knew his opthalmalogist in NC and had me email the records I had to her, so she knew his history. The office was great at f/u, answering a question that arose, and they told me how to get help if needed when they were closed. The only negative thing I could say is they are located 2.5 hrs from our place, but I would jump in the car in a heartbeat to go back if needed! They get 5 stars, but deserve 10 stars in my opinion! She is very personal, kind, sweet and knowledgeable. Dr. Cappe and Jade (her assistant) were very gentle with our kitty. Who is very skittish around people that he doesn't know. They spent time explaining what she was going to do. She was very gentle when she took blood from Biggles. Afterward, she explained in great detail how to administer the medicine. We are very grateful for Dr. Cappe and Jade. We recommend Dr. Cappe for all your pet needs. Thank You ?

Our sweet Chloe had to have a spay with Von Wille Brand (a blood clotting disorder). Dr. Schubmehl is fantastic, from the first consultation he answered all of my questions and was extremely thorough. I emailed him with some more questions after the visit and not once did he ever seem annoyed, and always made sure we had all of the information we needed. He called us after the surgery letting us know that everything went amazing with Chloe and explained the plan for all post-operative care. During the day we called a couple of times to check in on Chloe and every nurse that answered the phone was phenomenal, they always made sure we felt comfortable and were up to date on the care that Chloe was under throughout the night. Today Chloe is 2 weeks post-op and got a clean bill of health! We are so lucky and blessed to have been referred to Dr. Schubmehl. He truly cares for every animal like his own. Thank you so much for helping our baby girl!

1400 Midtown Ave, Mt PleasantWe got so lucky finding Pete’s Pack when we moved to the Charleston area. Pete first came all the way out to IOP to start walks with our now 9-year-old lab mix, Allen. He really worked with us on our schedule and was always super flexible. Our dog takes a while to warm up to people, but Allen immediately felt comfortable with Pete and the rest of the pack.
When we moved to Mount Pleasant, we started doing pack hikes, and the ease of pick-ups and drop-offs—while knowing Allen was having the best time—really made us happy and put us at ease. With a new human addition to our family, Pete was really there for us and helped with more hikes and boarding. It was just like a slumber party for Allen, and I could tell he always felt right at home with Pete and his other fur friends.
We're moving to Connecticut and can only hope to find someone half as good as Pete. At the end of the day, knowing your pup is safe and so happy is everything you could wish for. We love you, Pete!!!

Right from the start, they confirmed all the details of our dogs’ feeding and medication schedules, which immediately put us at ease. Throughout the weekend, they kept us updated with texts and pictures, which we really appreciated. At the end of their stay, we added on a bath, and they did an amazing job at a very affordable price. If you’re considering boarding your dogs in the area, I highly recommend Best Friends Boarding. The staff is incredibly sweet, and the pricing is very reasonable!

Our server Margaret was knowledgeable about the dishes and described the mocktails perfectly so we knew exactly what we were getting. I ordered the salmon with the boiled peanut succotash presentation. I wanted it without the tarragon cream sauce. Margaret explained that the sauce was what held the succotash together, so it wouldn't be as the chef designed, but that they could do it. I ordered it without the cream sauce and it was SO delicious. My fiance ordered the shrimp and grits. We are both SC natives and enjoy a taste of home. This food was brimming with flavor like it was cooked with love, every bite as good as the first. Grace & Grit was by far the best meal we had during our whole Charleston vacation.

i got the special shark bite bowl and my buddy got the standard açaí bowl and shark week lemonade (which was perfectly balanced between sweet and tart and also was SUPER fun, interactive and all natural!) my bowl was super delicious too, and i WILL be returning to experience more of the actual menu because i was floored with the flavor and thrilled i found an açaí spot i like.
the staff was also super nice and had some great shark week face paint!!
and finally the atmosphere; as a shark enthusiast im very biased, i really adored the vibe like it was just peak!!

He had fantastic insite into what we might enjoy and he helped us get ahold of every bet we needed. Not only a fantastic place and environment to hang out... but a great spot to pickup beers for at home! Absolutely recommend. Will return my next visit!
