9730 Dorchester Rd #101, SummervilleThey have always been the best with my pets. They have seen both my pitbull Luna and my cat Mitts. Mitts especially has been a frequent patient. They took great care with him and recommended us out last year when he lost his vision and also recommended us to a great doctor when he needed his eye removed ( he only had the one at the time). Mitts had to take another trip this week because of a urinary issue and they got us in quick (within 3 days). They took great care of him and enjoyed the love he had to give while he wait for us to pick him up. We LOVE Sweetgrass and recommend them highly. Being a first time pet owner I will never take my animals anywhere else. From the receptionist to the vet techs, and doctors they show great care and patience. This truly is the best place around!

I got the Woodstock drip coffee (I let the barista pick based on my preference for low acidity coffee), the Turkey C sandwich, my son got the banana bread and a PSL, my daughter's got a chai and blueberry muffins. My kids loved their treats and drinks, admittedly they are an easy audience. I enjoyed my coffee, as hoped for it was smooth a law acid, despite drinking it black. The sandwich was absolutely outstanding. Bacon was thick and smoky, the roll had just the right "squish" and "chewiness" of a good hard roll, and it wasn't greasy or sloppy at all, which is exactly why I picked it. The Mediterranean salad was not quite what I expected, I thought it would involve black olives and feta cheese, but it had neither, and I appreciated that it was different and not too oily. The food prices feel a touch high but if you look at the quality of the food, and their use of premium ingredients, it is reasonable for what you get. Staff was friendly and good came out fast. There is a long table for bigger groups and small tables for up to four to sit. In general, Summerville has been mostly misses for me on food, but I like Coastal Coffee and would return if I was in the area and wanting a bite or a brew. J.Ja

We came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and had a wonderful experience. We're new to the area, and our server was very helpful in giving us information about Summerville and its surrounding neighborhoods. The food was excellent. Everyone's fish was cooked perfectly; flaky and delicious. It tasted fresh and like how all fish should taste. I loved every bite. I also liked that they served the tartar and cocktail sauces in squeeze bottles. We tried the Flounder Po Boy Sandwich, fried, the Grouper Bites, and a Scallop Po Boy Sandwich, grilled. Everything was so good, although I think getting those scallops blackened would have brought the sandwich up another level. Still, it tasted great. Usually, I'm not a fan of seasoned fries, but these were addictive. A charming little shack of a restaurant! We will surely be returning!

We sat outside on the patio, a very pleasant choice when the noisy AC unit wasn't running. (Pro tip: don't eat outside in hot weather as it may be difficult to converse; if you do, get a table as far away from the AC as possible.) But DO go - the food is wonderful. I had their unique and flavorful Cajun Pasta, and I thought it was perfect. The blend of Blackened Chicken, Andouille, Peppers, Onions, and Mushrooms was fresh and flavorful, and the sauce was perfect - not too thick and wonderfully complementary. My colleagues raved about their choices, and I can't wait to go back. Wheelchair accessibility was good, and there were plenty of tables that fit to choose from.

I would have liked a bit more pineapple but that's me. Vegetables were crisp and fresh. Waitress was very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed.

I was craving a cold, fresh, but not exactly the healthiest salad if you know what I mean! So I ordered the "My Wife's Salad" with Danish Bleu dressing and wow--this thing weighs like 5 pounds! I can eat three meals from this one salad easily! Super fresh, filling, and the homemade dressing is soooo good! I also got a side of potato salad which is equally fabulous. The sweet tea is perfect! Their menu consists of everything the deli heavens have to offer! I can't wait to try other things very soon! A preggo woman's dream salad spot!

We were welcome to tour the grounds and ask questions if we saw a dog that caught our eye. There is such a huge demand for dealing with pets who have been abandoned or lost. Dorchester Paws is really doing an amazing job.
