âGreat selection of clothing from relatively well known labels like John Varvatos and Billy Reid but also some superior selections from some labels that are not so well known (Grayers, Wood Wood, NN07, Long Wharf). This is one of the best men's clothing stores I've been to and while price point is higher, quality is superior. They do have a annual sale that is a must see.â
âIan was awesome at checkout helping with finding conditioner and we had John help us and he new so much about boots, his patience and knowledge took me from making a rash decision to really looking into the product line, ending up with a pair that were so beautiful I will pass them on to my family. âthe greatest shoe store I've ever been too, the man there was so extremely helpful and knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect shoe for me. the shoe was a bit pricey but it was worth the experience I had while there. they also have two really sweet dogs who just sit there and let you pet themâ
âVery nice staff & willing to do out of their way in helping me. However, not a really a huge stock of men's shoes. I must say some of the shoes are deeply discounted so one could really wind up with a well made pair of shoes at a nice price both women & men.â

Some of the shoes are a bit beat up, but the prices are mostly very fair.
RETURN POLICY WARNING -
The only really downside is that the return policy is super aggressive. If you don't live close by, it's not easy to bring home a great find and try on with a 'fit bc you only have 7 days to get a refund. I travel to the area where the closest location is to me about every 2-3 weeks, so 30 or even 14 days would be reasonable, but 7 is just not worth the extra trip if they don't work out, so I often leave a great find on the shelf if I'm not 110% certain they will work for me.
For the return policy risk, the same pricing for quality footwear with similar selection can be found at Nordstrom Rack with a much better return window. Though I'm giving extra points for M&L bc I love supporting a local, small, friendly, Christian business.

âThe employees here are outstanding, they made a really boring experience quite enjoyable. My wife and I ended up at the store twice over the last week and the experience was the same both times, with different employees, good job management.Obviously it's Duluth, the quality of the clothing is great. We had to do an exchange from an online purchase, before we even got done looking at other items she had already gotten the correct size and completed the transaction. I had no clue, this is a beautiful, the time it saved!We will be back.â
âI had an incredible experience at the Johnston & Murphy store in Franklin, TN thanks to Richard. I came in looking for a replacement pair of gum-soled McGuffey shoes that I had recently damaged, only to find out they had been discontinued and were out of stock online.
Richard didnât stop thereâhe went above and beyond. Not only was he friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in-store, but a couple of hours after I left, he personally called me to let me know he had tracked down a pair in Arizona. I was blown away.
This kind of service is rare these days. Richard is the reason Iâll continue shopping at Johnston & Murphy. Give that man a raise!â

âI wish I had remembered to write a review just after my experience at this Galleria Mall location so that I could thank the employee who helped me. I know nothing about fashion and had to find clothes for a black tie wedding. She was so quick to offer advice, scouring the store for dress that would work. And this was my experience a few years ago when I again needed help with wedding attire. This is kind of customer service is what so many stores are missing!â
âThe *what I assume* manager was incredibly friendly and helpful. He made sure his staff greeted every person who walked in. He fixed a discount issue for me with no questions asked. I brought my husband here to find some clothes and left more than enthused with our experience!â
âThis is my goto sporting goods store. It's smaller than most, but they have just about anything the bigger stores have. Prices are competitive, and the sales are amazing. They carry all the top name brands at a much better price.â
âMaria, the owner, is the shoe whisperer. The shoes are magnificent and the store has something for everyone. The majority of her customers are repeat customers. If you want a pair of the best shoes you have ever owned, go to Boutique MMM on the Franklin square.â
âI have bought 2 pair of dance boots and 2 pair of dance shoes from them while attending dance events. Extremely pleased. John and Patsy are awesome people! Have 2 friends now who want boots. My friends just need to be someplace John and Patsy are without having to drive 200 miles to Franklin to try them on.â
âIt was a fun & comfortable shopping experience as the owner and other employees were very personable & answered any questions I had! Many boutiques that I have been in Franklin, have had snobby owners who donât greet when entering store. This place was a breath of fresh air and a big bonus- super cute clothes! Will be back.â

Went in looking for some Hokas on sale (Iâm dumb and didnât realize they only sell them online) and told the two ladies that were helping me that I needed something to help with back support because I walk all day for work. They suggested the Asics puregels and boy did they not disappoint. I walked probably 6 miles today and I canât even tell. Thanks again!â

Both young ladies working were very friendly and offered help right away.
My daughter is in between sizes and very picky.
Natalie went above and beyond in helping my daughter find the perfect shoes and even found her some matching PokĂŠmon socks! She was so patient and helpful.
My daughter loves her new shoes and socks!
It was nice to see these young ladies be so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their jobs!!â

âThis was my first visit to this store in Cool Springs â actually drove my senior mom here to shop â decided to walk inside & shop myself. I was pretty impressed with the wide variety of major brands that I have worn or thought about adding to my collection. Looking through the lens as a grandfather â I paid close attention to the selection of styles & brands for active toddlers & school-age kids. I snapped a few photos to send to my daughter that lives in Middle Tennessee to show her the breadth of choices for her two kids. The store was clean and fairly clutter free. Itâs obviously designed as a large wide open space with long aisles divided into style and gender. Itâs purposely long on self-serve shelving with top shelf displays for the shoes â and short on big visual merchandising displays with realistic mannequins. Guess thatâs where the warehouse in the name comes in. There is a relatively small checkout area with 3-4 registers near the front door. Plenty of parking in the large shopping center off Mallory Lane near exit to I-65 in Franklin.â
âThey have a wonderful staff! The lady I talked on the phone with right before Christmas was so kind and put some men's shoes on hold for me for 2 hours for me to come purchase. The item was sold out in many stores and so sweet of her to this made my Christmas for my brother to find these shoes! Not only did they have them, but they were on sale as well! They were so awesome from the phone and in person in store definitely there to help you out.â

âLoft is a wonderful clothing store. It offers beautiful casual dresses, skirts, tops and pants. Especially perfect for teachers. I have shopped at Loft for years. Teachers get a discount.â
