“Everything you can’t get at Home Depot you get here. First of all you can get directed to what you’re looking for. Better yet you don’t have to search or wait for someone to help you, and they all are extremely knowledgeable. If you tell them your problem, they will direct you to the proper tools and even assemble them sometimes for you if assembly is required. It’s a friendly local store. It may be 1/10 the size of Home Depot, so there is a trade-off in terms of selection. And they don’t have all of the categories that Home Depot has. But they do get you to the right tools for your project. For handiwork they generally have what I need.”

“I visited this Ace store a few days ago just to pick up a few screws for a ceiling fan installation. A young man in the aisle helped me to find the right ones, so I headed to the counter to check out. I had rushed out of the house so fast, I didn't have my wallet, so I asked the woman behind the counter (Michele, Store Manager) to hold the bag of screws until I returned with my wallet. She simply said. "Take them... you can pay me the next time I'm in the store." So nice! And she saved me a bunch of time. Would that have happened at a big box store? I sincerely doubt it. That sort of personal touch is why I'll keep going back there. Thanks, Ace!”

“I was urgently needing to buy a washing machine two Friday nights ago, and Bill in the appliance department was so wonderfully nice and knowledgeable, and helped me with a clearance floor model LG. Bill knew which washers were in stock, and found me a model that was an incredible deal. In this day and age, with many appliances needing to be ordered, and with product knowledge and customer service being hard to find, Bill is a wonderful asset to Bellevue Home Depot, and I'm glad I chose Home Depot over the competitor a few miles up the road!”

“I special ordered some deck boards. I made the mistake and ordered 16 foot lengths thinking this would save my labor time. I had a 12 foot trailer and tried to use a pallet to prop the back up. They were too flimsy. I am not paying $80 to get them delivered. It took a little time but Richard delivered them on a 20 foot flatbed and unloaded them exactly where I wanted. After all the pain in the butt this solution worked out well. I appreciate the perseverance of the Home Depot Folks in making this happen. “Every plant under the sun except Eucalyptus, which I happen to be looking for. They ward off spiders, so I was trying to get them because there is a rich history of Spiders vs Composers (as they famously took the life of Berg) that I want to avoid. There's even a type of song called a Tarantella where you play it after someone gets a spider bite so they frantically dance around so the venum will come out”
“Ferguson was contacted by our maintenance team at our apartment because our lights kept flickering dramatically. The gentleman came out after dark on the first freezing night of the year to check things out and see what he could do. While he couldn't fix things right away, he was able to give us a temporary fix! I'm so grateful because I'm a photosensitive epileptic, and now my head won't hurt at home while we wait for him to come back later this week to fix things permanently. He was polite and told us exactly what was going on, too!”
