“This place is router bit heaven. This is the place to go if you’re in need of any specialty router/CNC bits, though they have a wide variety of various woodworking stuff, typically of the spinning variety but also layout tools, saw blades and other high quality items. The staff is SUPER friendly, knowledgeable and made sure to help me find what I was looking for. Penny the shop-puppy is a sweetheart as well! I almost never leave reviews unless the experience was remarkably positive or negative and in this case I’m happy to say that it was the former & not the latter!”

“Not only had what I needed, walked ahead of me and got it off the shelf for me. They have a great selection. This is my first time here, but I’ll definitely be back. PS better than Home Depot or any of the others like that.”

“Top tier customer service. Always a smile even in 90 degree heat. Had the pleasure of meeting Christa today in the garden center. Not only did we talk plants, I got a few good finch deterrent ideas. Love our garden workers as well as inside Always helpful. So glad to have such a good community store.”

“Had an incredibly helpful employee (i think his name was Nick?) go way above and beyond. Came in with an electric skateboard that had a stripped nut that seemed impossible to remove, instead of telling me what tools to buy he fixed it himself. Unbelievably kind. I will be coming back here at every available opportunity.”

“I gave them a call when Tiwi answered I explained that I was looking for bulk gravel. Instead of turning me away explaining the tractor was broke he sold, me on coming in and he would hand load my truck. He was courteous and never once complained about having to do it in 90 + degree heat. With service like that I will definitely be back.”

“So I needed a pain to find anchor bolt in metric. They did not have it. No one has it locally. But the counter guy opened up and gave me the only two viable options. When you not only need the item but need the knowledge of where who and when is as vital this is the place to go. They may not sell you what you need but you will get the answers you need which is more than most. Also the retail counter is in my pic. Building is huge and they have the build a across the street too.”

“The staff are always pleasant and helpful, but they don't always have what you need, given the small store. Maybe fewer chocolate bars and gift cards and more hardware?”

“I want to recognize the exceptional customer service I received from Chris at Northern Tool today. I called needing help locating a receipt from a previous purchase, and he went completely above and beyond to assist me. He was patient, professional, kind, and genuinely committed to helping resolve the issue. It’s not very common anymore to receive customer service like this, and I truly appreciated the time and effort he put into helping me. Next time we visit, we hope to meet you, Chris! Northern Tool is lucky to have someone like you on their team. Thank you again for making what could have been a stressful situation such a positive experience and outcome!!!!”

“I love this hardware store, a cavernous warehouse far more utilitarian than glamorous. But who needs chic when you offer a thorough selection at competitive prices? I just needed a single roll of packing tape near my workplace and found this store online, a place I’d driven past hundreds of times. The employees were extremely helpful. But the amount of hardware goods throughout the warehouse is simply stunning. It’s like a smaller version of Lowe’s or Home Depot without all the glitz, tucked into an industrial area in the heart of South Nashville. By the way, this is a locally owned store named after Horace Greely Lipscomb, a resident of Brentwood who moved here in 1869. Eventually a wealthy banker, he founded this hardware company in 1893! If his surname sounds familiar to locals, yes, his brother was the very David Lipscomb who founded the university that carries his name.”

“The staff at Ferguson Plumbing Supply were extremely helpful, really going above and beyond to help us solve an unexpected problem we encountered while trying to renovate our mid-century bathroom (which still had all the original fixtures!) They were very knowledgeable and provided us with products we could buy through their company, making the process as smooth as possible for us. THANKS!”

“Danny and Jermaine DEDICATION is the word that described my last experience at the Home Depot. The wholeStore did a good job taking care of me but it was Two names that really had a MVP performance,.. Danny and Jermaine. I came back twice because I had the wrong measurements on wood cuts. What heavily impressed me was the patience and the teamwork displayed to take care of my needs. I now have a happier wife which will indeed make my life happier. I greatly appreciate both of you!”

“Ferguson was contacted by our maintenance team at our apartment because our lights kept flickering dramatically. The gentleman came out after dark on the first freezing night of the year to check things out and see what he could do. While he couldn't fix things right away, he was able to give us a temporary fix! I'm so grateful because I'm a photosensitive epileptic, and now my head won't hurt at home while we wait for him to come back later this week to fix things permanently. He was polite and told us exactly what was going on, too!”
