“My experience with art direct has been phenomenal! I have stopped by multiple times to discuss various prints for my wedding including a portrait for guests to sign around, custom framing options, photo scanning/printing, and prints for signage like my welcome table, bar sign etc. Each employee has been extremely informative, kind and helpful but my experience with Geo on Saturday was top notch. She spent over an hour working with me, and never made me feel like an inconvenience or as if I’m taking too much of her time. She was eager to help, listened to my thoughts and concerns, answered all my questions and made extremely helpful suggestions. Geo even helped get some my prints to me same day so that I can check off some of my stuff wedding to-dos and feel good about it! For my venue portrait print specifically, Geo helped work through the sizing and coloration of my photo making it better than I could have imagined and payed attention to the details Can’t wait to keep working with her & the rest of the art direct team.”

“I highly recommend the Ao5 Gallery. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff were very helpful, and they have a wide collection of art. The first time that I went to the gallery, since I was interested in Dali works, the owner took me to the Dali room and discussed the works that I was interested in and discussed various artwork on display. Also, I am afraid sometimes when I buy art on-line, since I might not be buying authentic pieces. But all of the Ao5 Gallery pieces are authenticated. Finally, the Ao5 Gallery has pieces that are only $10 to very expensive pieces, and they also do great framing. If you have time, I highly recommend that you stop by the Ao5 Gallery when you are at or close by the Arboretum.”

“I had a private 2 hour session with my boyfriend and it was an amazing experience! Grisha worked hard to both teach and guide so we were able to create the pieces more independently. We created bowls, flowers, mushrooms and more! I would absolutely recommend this experience as well as Grisha as an instructor!”

“The Cathedral of Junk is on the private property of the artist. It closes at 5pm. It's incredibly creative and I have no idea how the artist was able to build the structure to such a grand scale. Do note that the site is free but the artist takes donations in the form of cash and venmo. Cashapp and Zelle is not available.”

“This store and staff are amazing here! My friend wanted to show me a cool toy shop in ATX last year around March. To be open, when I first went my inner child lit up and my adult self was glad I found this amazing gem in Austin! I didn’t know it would only get better! When I was there the they ran out of the plushie I wanted. The staff actually put my name on a list. Here were are now, and I had a voice mail from Alexa that the item was in the store! When I called back Ashton was more than willing to confirm the item was still in stock and he would be more than willing to hold it for me. They were so kind and polite. The environment and aura of this place and the people is pure joy. What customer or consumer doesn’t love impeccable customer service! This place is the 8th wonder of the world!”

“We found a number of nice things. The people could have been nicer. The young sales people were ok, but the older lady there was clerly not happy we were shopping there.”

“Excellent art gallery at the corner of the main building in the larger canopy complex.
Exhibit openings here are warm and welcoming, a way to see the proprietors and see people browsing the art with price lists in hand. Sometimes you are fortunate enough to hear an artist telling people about their work. The back of the gallery is fun to explore as well, keeping work from previously highlighted artists. The gallery participates in the monthly canopy open days 1-4pm every first Saturday.
There is a large free parking lot wrapping around the building.”

“Always worth seeing, this community-centered gallery features rotating exhibits of female artists. The gallery often participated in Austin's annual museum day.
The building itself is fascinating too, originating as a grocery store in the 1890s. One side of the gallery features several large pages of glass facing across a shallow grass lawn punctuated by an artistic fountain.”

“I love this historical place. It is now a museum that carries only handmade unique arts and crafts made by several local artists and artisans. Great shopping place if you are looking to buy a Texas souvenir or if you are a tourist art collector.
They have many fun cultural celebrations several times a year for all ages.
You will be greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful atmosphere and great history learning experience about the Old bakery.”

“All time dream to finally come here. More amazing than I dreamt. But wasn't open today due to a trip though they were kind enough to take my call. Not their fault, still 5 stars, hopefully next time or if they come to Springfield, Missouri and let me know we can meet :-)”

“They serve Anderson's Cold Brew + Espresso, Zucchini Kill + Russell's Bakery Items, Coconut Bliss Ice Cream, and so much more! Poor exterior signage / marketing, so enter through Terra Toys main entrance.”

“Lots of fun stuff to look at, they always have good sales and coupons going on. the team is helpful and easy to find to ask questions but not overwhelmingly trying to follow you around like some other retailers, which I like!”

“What an amazing space with beautiful art of multiple types. Deanna (gallery owner, photographer and artist) is so engaging and really makes you feel at home in her gallery. If I’m Austin or his is a must visit.”

“Each time I've visited this gallery, long thought has gone into installing the works they display. The sense of space and interaction between the visitor and work is always effective in making you feel you're moving through the work.
This gallery is within a block of a couple other great galleries, as well as restaurants and bars, making for an enjoyable afternoon. There is also free parking in front of the gallery and on streets north of it.”

“Melissa and the team at Austin Art and Frame always go above and beyond to make sure every piece of art is meticulously framed. They have great input when it comes to choosing a frame and have helped me with everything from custom shadowbox frames being built around three dimensional art to assisting with a very specific frame installation that attached to a motorized television enclosure. Highly recommend!!!”

“Little art gallery in a lot with the excellent Lynn's food truck and a book shop.
Exhibit openings here are warm and welcoming, a way to see the supportive community that has built up around this place. There is free parking along the street for a few blocks. The gallery is a fun place to stop and enjoy other attractions in the community area.”

“Several years ago I asked Images of Austin to make a customized shadow box for displaying so very old pipes and they did an excellent job. Today I asked them to frame two very old maps in a way that will protect them from the sun and humidity. I may have to wait a couple of months to get them back, but I know they will be protected from the elements for many years.”
