“This Gallery not only offers aspiring artists a platform to show their work; but also change the paradigm of the underrepresentation of people of color within the mainstream art-world. This gallery is built for the people operated by the people.”
“What a wonderful place!! I took my girlfriend here for a pottery making date, and it was a super fun time. We both made 3 pieces each, and got to decorate them as well. Our teacher, Kelly, was awesome and incredibly helpful. She’s really passionate and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and now we want to keep making pottery!”
“My girlfriend and I took a private lesson for her birthday and it was such a beautiful, fun, creative experience. Our instructor was so knowledgeable and passionate about her profession as a glassblower and made us feel both safe and encouraged during our class. If you’re looking to shake up date night, blow off some steam, or just curious and want to explore a new medium of art, I’d highly recommend Ghost Pepper Glass.”
“Flavio Ramos and his team at Mindzai Print Shop are the best....their followup and attention to detail is second to none. I live in the Chicago area and could just as easily use local print shops. For many years now I have chosen to go to Mindzai....why? Because they provide exceptional customer service and quality work.”
“I’ve been meaning to write this review to Steve in particular for awhile. His attention to detail, friendliness and kindness was so obvious in every interaction we had this past spring as he framed multiple things for my place of work. 100% recommend and the frames turned out beautifully.”
“My wife and I had two pieces framed at Art Direct and absolutely loved the people there. They had a good sense of color and shape that helped guide us what we (emphasis on "we") wanted to frame out work. They weren't pushy but genuinely wanted to help us make the art we loved look better.”
“This is the epitome of a toy store, with carefully curated selection of what their Buyers. From penny candy to doll houses to the best selection of PlayMobile that I have ever seen under one roof. Grab the kids, experience a nostalgic visit for you and a sense of magic and wonder for the kiddies. DONT stress about the kids begging for things, they have a nice selection of small ticket items .”

5000 N Lamar Blvd, Austin“I visit Guzu Gallery every time I’m in Austin. Conveniently located next to the amazing Austin Book & Comics, Guzu hosts a constant stream of local, genre art. Fun and unique toys and prints round out the shop, so there is always something fun and new to pick up!”
“I love walking around the streets in Austin and that promenade usually takes me to the Visual Arts Center. I must say every time I go in I'm like a kid at a candy store. There is always something new to see and explore and the staff really let you enjoy the art work in peace but are there if you have any questions. I admit some pieces I look at them two, three times before admitting my artistic eye needs help deciphering the artist's goal. But that's art!It really does stand a cultural hub for all in Texas and visitors. Also, it's free so how can you say no to that! Thanks!”
“Petra and her team at Collected Co were such professionals to work with. They were quick to respond to all my texts/emails, friendly, honest, and patient. I felt they were actually listening to me as opposed to just trying to decorate based on their agenda. Highly recommended!”

1009 W 6th St, Austin“My friend and I came to Austin for the Formula 1 race, but Lotus Gallery ended up being the highlight of my trip. I'm a 3rd generation antique enthusiast and always make an effort to explore the local haunts when traveling. When I walked in I was honestly a bit intimidated. This was no flea market junk flip.. I was instead surrounded by museum quality asian antiquities, some priced at well over $100k. It felt like being inside a museum where everything just happened to be for sale. In my pre judgement bias, I became suspicious the employee would want no part of me if he thought my pockets weren't deep enough. I couldnt have been more wrong. John, the owners son, had a limitless supply patience for my questions. I was so in awe of everything around me I spent 3 hours inside the gallery that first day, asking him dozens of questions. I was charmed to find that the gallery also had smaller and more affordable pieces, literally something for everyone at almost every price point. Every variation of Buddha from every age, vases, bronzes, busts, statues, jewelry, furniture and textiles can be found here. I fell in love with and ended up purchasing a nine, yes NINE () hundred year old Chinese bronze vase from the Song dynasty. John ended up being more than willing to negotiate on the price which put it into my price range. In conclusion, you get the feeling that this store is truly a passion project for the owner and her son John. If you like old things of beauty, history, and mind boggling craftsmanship from every corner of Asia, GO. TO. LOTUS. GALLERY. -Trevor”
“Thank you Dan! I am so grateful for the fantastic job you did for me. My giclee print came out perfect. I will be back with my other art pieces. You are all so helpful, friendly and courteous. I look forward to working with you in the future.”
“During a recent visit to Turquoise Trading Post, I was in search of a high-quality ring for my mother's birthday. Nikky provided exceptional customer service from the moment I arrived, promptly presenting an array of ring options. With much patience, she dedicated over 30 minutes to helping me navigate through the assortment, ensuring we found the perfect stone and size. Nikky's friendly demeanor elevated the entire experience! Ultimately, I departed with a stunning turquoise ring, as pictured on the left. The establishment has a wonderful selection of items, reasonably priced, and staffed by very friendly individuals. I can't wait to come back!”
“Such a great space for women artists and their work. I always enjoy a visit here. I was happy to find they were open late on a Saturday.I have even been a member in the past. I enjoy supporting organizations with such an important mission. I finally made it to the somewhat new location.Jade Walker’s exhibit unique and interactive with the scavenger hunt. The site specific installation filled the space in a unique way. It lead to a an inviting path through the space. The large amount of natural light brought a welcoming atmosphere to the artwork and room.I look forward to future visits here. This location should be part of your itinerary when visiting Austin. There aren’t many organizations like this in Texas. Don’t miss your opportunity.”
“A great gathering spot for art appreciation and socializing at openings. So many wonderful pieces for all budgets including musician makers and outsider artists.”
“I am so grateful to be a part of the CAMIBAart family. Every experience I have with the CAMIBAart team is incredibly thoughtful. Whether Troy and Rene are representing their artists, hosting nonprofit events at the gallery, or leading a tour, they are curating an experience for everyone involved. That goal is a tough challenge and I’ve never seen a team do it better. I am thankful to be connected to such amazing community that they have created and am grateful to call them friends.”

“Several years ago I asked Images of Austin to make a customized shadow box for displaying so very old pipes and they did an excellent job. Today I asked them to frame two very old maps in a way that will protect them from the sun and humidity. I may have to wait a couple of months to get them back, but I know they will be protected from the elements for many years.”
“Visited here and spoke with one of the owners. He was so welcoming and shared with us a lot about Austin. They highlight local artists and have so many fun gifts available for purchase, as well as host some events and attend pop ups. Definitely plan on coming back!”
