“I’ve been into Alexa James Baby several times now over the years. It’s my favorite children’s boutique here in Austin. The clothes and toys carefully selected and curated. You wont find many of the pieces at other stores. The owner, Karina, is always a joy to talk to with helpful advice when looking for a unique gift for friends. High quality items from around the world and excellent service. I especially love digging through their previous season’s sale rack to find hidden gems. I keep coming back here and you should too!”

“My mom had an appointment around the corner and afterwards we popped into Once Upon a Child. We were so pleasantly surprised by how well kept this store was! We literally stopped at the door and looked back to see if we were in the right place because it looked like an actual retail store, not a thrift type store. The organization was top notch. The clothes sizes were easily defined and in really good shape. The books and toys were all organized as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were way better than we expected. We will stop here every time my mom has an appointment - and maybe a few times more!”

“I love Sparkle Kids! It’s by far my favorite place to find beautiful gently used kids clothing and I am honestly having a crisis about where to go when my daughter ages out. It’s been my go-to spot for Hanna Andersson, Mini Boden, Tea Collection, Lola and the Boys, and other brands I hardly ever buy new. It goes for Halloween costumes, dance wear, swim wear, and ski wear too. Really sweet and curated collection of books and toys too. Great prices considering how discerning they are about what they buy. I’ve always had a good experience selling as well, but of course it helps to bring only the best. They only offer store credit but don’t worry—you’ll find something great I promise!”

“My 10 year old daughter and I had such a fun time exploring the beautiful store. They’ve curated an abundance of luxury yet livable and unpretentious eye candy and textures. While I’m not much of a shopper, we couldn’t resist 2 barefoot dreams throw blankets, a super cozy hoodie and a jelly cat otter. The price was fair especially given the quality. I’ll definitely go back when I have more time to try on clothing. The people were super helpful and kind too. All the stars.”

“We love the store. It’s like having an Amazon to be able to go into and pick things up and look at them. They’ve got literally everything you would see on Amazon. The variety is so helpful. Ask for help because the ladies there can show you stuff you might not know they have. We’ve gotten obscure gifts for that special option and namebrand gifts for something. The kids are sure to love. The selection they have feels wholesome and quality, like you won’t make a bad choice. Westlake is lucky to have them. They’ve got a great French bistro next-door, and honey baked ham, as well. Location is great for shopping and lunch.”

“my children were very scared to come here after the manager brought in his brother and stuck my children in the freezer i do not like the fact that he couldnt do it himself and that he had to bring in his brother that doesnt dedication to the game that he made and my children were still healthy when they came out i did not pay 2 dollars for some guy to scare my children if you want your children to leave you alone i would rather have them sit on a street corner in Detroit without any supervision will not come here again but other than that the prices are very fair and the guys are very scary”

“I was looking for a very specific jacket on the internet and it appeared to be sold out everywhere until I found a link for a store in Texas that had said specific jacket. I wasn't sure of it at first because I had never heard of this place because I live in California but soon after buying a received a confirmation email and my curiosity got the best of me and I looked this page up on Facebook and decided to give them a like. A man named David who I can only assume is the or one of the head honchos of the store got back to me about the status of the jacket and was very nice and professional! I will never forget that and include this anecdote any time I get asked about the cool jacket. If I was in Texas I would definitely come here often but since I am not I can only leave a banger of a review for a banger of a shop. Spend your money here I definitely did and likely will again”

“Martha Stewart in the House!! Can't say enough about the Linden Street towels. This is JCPenney's 'house brand' that is designed and manufactured by the company. At other retailers, things made in the owner's factory are of a lesser or questionable quality. Not so with Linden Street. I have tons of their bath towels and they have held up, still soft, colors haven't faded, just a great product. Don't pay $20 bucks for the bath towel either when you join rewards and watch for the sales you can almost legally steal them. I bought 16 of the 30x54 bath towels for $112.48”

“If you've never been to a Melrose before they carry off brand clothes for women (have great plus size selection) , kids, & men. They even carry shoes (off brand). Whenever, I'm on the hunt for a simple, colorful, & budget-friendly item of clothing (usually when I'm vacay outfit shopping) while being short on time, I'll come check out Melrose because this location is always organized and each of the racks are conveniently organized by color/style so I can quickly look over the racks to see if I can find what I was on the hunt for. Ann, Janette, and Rocky completely changed the experience for me. They made me feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely taken care of. Shopping there didn't feel like a chore -- they turned it into an experience, full of laughter and good energy. They truly made every visit feel like an adventure. Because of them, I kept coming back. I even visited another Gap location just to compare -- and it didn't even come close. This isn't just the best Gap I've been to. I came in looking for specific sizes, and he went above and beyond—even going all the way up to their storage area to find exactly what I needed, and he did it fast! He was so accommodating and really made sure my experience was exceptional from start to finish. The store itself was spotless—seriously the cleanest store I’ve been in. No clutter anywhere, and once I finished trying things on, Aaron was already neatly putting away the items I didn’t want. The space had a calm, peaceful vibe—not too crowded—and they had a beautiful selection of clothes, most of which were on sale. I was actually having a bit of a personal crisis when I walked in, and Aaron’s patience and kindness genuinely turned my day around. Hands down the best customer service I’ve ever received in a store. He’s just a kind, calm human being—and 100% deserves a raise.”
