“Wonderful little store with some incredible staff. I came by a few months ago to get someone's opinion about what kind of wheels would be best for indoor rinks for inline skates. I know inline skates aren't sold here, and I told them that once I arrived as to not potentially waste their time (since I wouldn't be a buying customer), but the lady helped me anyway and gave me a great breakdown on the hardness of wheels and what that would entail. At that point, I knew I'd have to come back to support them some way. I finally got a pair of inlines, but still needed protective gear. Today (June 25, '26) I went in and a different lady was there, and was just as helpful and pleasant to talk to. She helped me pick out some gear, and encouraged me to try on different sizes and types of pads to make sure I found the right sized and comfortable equipment. She even went through the hassle of making sure my helmet was properly fitted. I highly recommend this store for any skate related equipment! While they don't sell inline specific equipment, they have everything else and know their stuff! I'm pretty sure it's owned by a roller derby player, and the two women I spoke with are active derby players as well, which is pretty badass”

“Amazing experience! I got my racquet restrung here today, and the owner was really friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He gave me excellent advice and took the time to explain everything. I had my racquet restrung at Caswell just 20 days ago, but the strings was a bad recommendation and had already lost some tension that it was no longer enjoyable to play with. I’m not sure why that happened, but the owner at New Tech Tennis completely fixed the issue. I just took the racquet to the court, and it feels fantastic. The difference is huge lol now I have much more confidence to play. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“On 9/3 I walked into the Patagonia store on Congress Ave with my trustee mega duffel in a sad state of disrepair. It had completely failed in numerous ways on an international trip making travels extra difficult but over the 12 to 15 years of its travels , it was due. It was an expensive bag back then but I trusted the brands warranty and quality. Leah greeted me so kindly and said ‘let’s go see what we have on hand in the store and if you don’t like what we have I’ll order a color you do like’. WOW I was shocked. A lifetime warranty that still actually means something. I really didn’t care about the color and chose the ones she had in her hand. The entire process could not have been more gracious. The outdoor retailer plans to open a 100,000-square-foot store in College Station, Texas, in 2028. It'll sit along State Highway 6, north of William D. Fitch Parkway, next to a Costco and in front of the future South College Station baseball and softball complex. On Sept. 24, the College Station City Council approved a $10.84 million sale of 28 acres in a unanimous vote. Bass Pro gets about 14 acres for its store. Dallas-based Corinth Properties will build a mixed-use project with restaurants and an event plaza on the other 14.
