While we were not sure what to do, we called around seeking the opinions of several vets in the area. The most sincere and honest people we talked to were at Startz Veterinary. From the get go, they were willing to work with us to figure out a solution that worked for our pet (who they treated as a family member and not just another patient.)
We are very thankful for the expertise of Dr. Kaufman, the kindness of Marissa, and the caring shown by all the staff. They have officially become our vet and we highly recommend them (not sure how people could post anything but positive reviews since everyone was treated well while we were there.) Lucy has recovered and is living her best life thanks to all of you!

13755 FM306, Canyon LakeI rushed my yorkie in because she was attacked by German shepherds! Dr Leakey and his staff are so comforting and amazing. He assured me that she would be fine and he got her all fixed up. They called me which put me at ease and then they kept her for a bit to watch over her. They are wonderful! Highly recommend!

Now on the corner of this little road. Very easy to see. We go inside and are greeted with a counter of food and some good menu prices.
I decided to get a flat white which is my go-to drink. I also picked up the scone.
My wife got a flat white as well and a chocolate croissant.
It was cute to see all the different options and them is nice to see the food was made in house.
The service was knifinniceg. We were taught a little bit about the area by the employee.
Definitely say not a bad little place to get some caffeine out in the middle of Texas. Give it a stop.

12020 FM306, Canyon LakeIve been around these parts since the 80's but I had never been. The sign says they are the best burgers in Canyon Lake. Not true I would say the best in TX. Ive had fancy $25 hamburgers and all sorts. This is hands down the best burger. The flavor and juiciness of the patty plus the sauce the jalapeños if you order them. It was pretty reasonable considering it's a 6 oz patty. The bacon is a butcher cut type. Much better than the usual greasy bacon that is mostly fat.

16520 S Access Rd, Canyon LakeCame here because saw the special on FB 2 thick pieces of catfish and they weren't thick it's like they split the filet. The special is 12.50 but for some reason they charged me an extra .50 cents for 2 sauces I only needed tartar. The fish was very good though and they give you a lot of fries. The hush puppies were just ok. The service was not good I sat at the bar and the bar tender this night never once checked up on me had to get a server for a refill and my check. All in all the place is fun, they have TVs to catch sports and different stuff going on during the week.
