This lady is amazing a bought a bird from her and she is the sweetest most honest person. She showed me how to treat my bird and she taught me how to take care of him. She also is so honest she could have taken my money and I would have no money and no bird she takes her time with the birds she teaches you how to trim their nails and makes their beaks and makes them shiny and not sharp. She is a natural and you can tell how much the birds love her. I am so glad I met her. She helps when you call. She eases your mind when it comes to the birds and she’s just a wonderful human being. I’m so glad I met her and I hope that her and I will stay in contact and stay friends, and I am wanting to buy another bird so that way my bird can have a companion and she even told me this is how you can tell. She’s such a good person because I asked her if my bird would need a companion anybody else would have said yes they need a companion just so I could buy another bird from her. No, she didn’t do that. She told me that if you’re home all the time with the birds and they can spend time with you and you can spend time with them that they don’t need a companion, but she also said that if you don’t spend a lot of time at home, then your bird would be better off with the companion. She’s a wonderful person and I hope her and I stay friends for a long time I’m even gonna invite her to my housewarming party because I just bought a brand new house. That’s what a lovely person she is.

I wish I had found Off The Leash first because it would have saved me thousands of dollars and a lot of frustration.
Before Ronnie came here, I had already paid for another board, and, train program. Ronnie already knew her basic obedience commands before she went. We hired them because we needed help with her resource guarding and wanted her exposed to real-life situations and people. She came home knowing how to “place” on a cot, but that was about it. I tried to convince myself it was worth it, but in my heart I never felt like she was getting worked with every day. I received very few videos or updates during her stay, and honestly, it felt more like she spent her time in a kennel than in training. She even came home without her personalized collar and leash.
I also spent a lot of money on private one-on-one lessons with another trainer. Four 50-minute sessions later, I still wasn’t getting the help Ronnie really needed. That company would not do a boarding train, Based off of the results from the first board and train. They didn’t have the confidence in their ability to work with a Dog like Ronnie. They lacked the vision to see Ronnie’s real potential.
Then we found Off The Leash and met Mark.
From the very beginning, it has been a completely different experience. Ronnie bonded with Mark her new trainer almost immediately, and you can see how much he genuinely cares about her. Every single day I get videos, updates, and a summary of exactly what they worked on, how Ronnie did, what they’re building on next, and what I need to know when she comes home. I never have to wonder what’s happening because they keep me involved every step of the way. Ronnie seems happy and right at home with Mark and his whole family. Heartwarming to say the least.
The biggest difference has been the real-world training. Ronnie isn’t just learning commands in a building. She’s going on field trips to busy stores like Lowe’s, pet stores, sporting goods stores, parks, and other places where there are real distractions. She’s learning how to be confident and how to make good choices in everyday situations.
I also love seeing videos of her in their home interacting with their family. Watching Ronnie become more relaxed, more social, and more confident has meant so much to me.
As someone who works full-time, travels for work, and is also a full-time caregiver, I simply don’t have the time to give Ronnie this kind of daily exposure and consistency. That’s exactly why I chose a board-and-train program, and this is the first time I truly feel like I’m getting what I paid for.
I’m actually excited for the leash handover because I know they’re going to teach me how to continue everything Ronnie has learned. They’ve made me part of the process instead of making me feel like someone waiting on the sidelines.
If you’re looking for a trainer, ask questions. Ask how often you’ll get updates. Ask to see training videos. Ask how much real-world exposure your dog will get.
For me, Off The Leash has restored my confidence in professional dog training. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

LISTEN UP, RECRUITS. I just conducted a full‑scale inspection of this vet‑owned chow hall, and let me tell you — the BRISKET passed with flying colors. Tender. Smoky. Didn’t need sauce, didn’t need backup, didn’t need permission to be excellent. The burnt ends? Flavor grenades.I am NOT a BBQ‑sauce person, but their tangy sauce snuck up on me like a well‑trained private and earned my respect.My battle buddy ordered ribs, sausage, red beans & rice, and a side of corn — and every single item came out seasoned like someone’s grandma was running the kitchen with a wooden spoon and zero tolerance for mediocrity.Portions? Generous.
Flavor? Outstanding.
Pride in the food? HIGH.This place is officially cleared for repeat missions. I’ll be returning for further “training.”

Holy moly! My usual place ran out of tamales, so we looked up a close spot that had good reviews. The reviews weren’t lying. My husband and I tried the pork tamales, chili, bean and cheese taco. and papas con chorizo taco. Everything was so good. This is now my favorite tamale spot. I’ve tried green salsa from a lot of places and mostly only found heat. This green salsa has a lot of flavor with a build up of heat. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and the guy is a Vietnam Vet. I’ll gladly support this place any time. 10/10 recommend!
