Retama Equine Hospital
17555 Old Evans Rd, SelmaCoconut and I were transferred here from our primary vet when she was struggling to improve from IMHA. I carried her inside when we first arrived and had to set her down briefly to pay the initial deposit. Within seconds of setting her down, the vet techs came out and brought her to the back for vitals. I immediately felt a huge sense of relief seeing how quickly they moved into action.
From that first moment through the week of her hospitalization, we experienced an incredible amount of emotion and truly exceptional care. Based on her condition at admission, Coconut was given less than a 50% chance of a positive outcome. However, that didn't stop Dr. Ramsey from formulating a plan to save her and giving it his all. Coconut and I are forever grateful and no words could ever really truly express that.
Besides the compassion of every doctor, vet tech and front desk agent we encourntered, one thing really stood out to me about MissionVet. Even though Dr. Ramsey laid out the groundwork for Coconut's case, throughout her stay multiple doctors took over and brought their unique perspective to it. Without that teamwork and shared goal to save Coconut, I'm not sure where we would be today. So I want to also express my gratitude to Dr. Sinese, Dr. Hindmarsh, Dr. Lozano, and all the wonderful techs (day and night), Mary, Angie, and the front desk staff.
They were very accommadating to visitations and were always available on the phone for when I needed updates about Coconut. Just make sure you call to schedule visits! I also received a morning and evening phone call every day with updates about Coconut's progress and current state. I'm not sure if this was due to the severity of her case or if this is a regular thing, but it was greatly appreciated. And I'm certain that if you wanted that as well, all you would have to do is ask.
Yes, the cost can get very expensive very quickly, but you get what you pay for and MissionVet is nothing but excellence. They set the standard for how veterinary hospitals should operate. I couldn't recommend them more highly than their reputation already does.
Coconut's road to recovery is far from over but I can't wait to continue that journey with MissionVet. Thank you so much again for bringing back the joy in Coconut's eyes and giving her a second chance at what I hope will be many more happy years.

15069 I-35 Ste. 202, SelmaAbsolutely fabulous food. Every item we ordered was really fresh and had a very distinct taste. They start you off with a huge warm bread with zaatar oil dip for the table. I believe the cuisine is persian-inspired, they had a nice flavorful selection of rice as well. Even Hummus, falafel, tabouleh salads etc that are the usual Mediterranean fare tasted very unique here. Highly recommend for anyone passing through on I35

14791 I-35 N #107, SelmaCame in and off the top i noticed how clean the place was. I ordered a rose milk with green apple jelly it was good. I also ordered a strawberry mango with strawberry Boba for the wife and she loved it. Also a hazelnut milk tea with tapioca balls for my daughter and she loved it as well...
Also ordered a Nutella ice- cream rolled and omg 😲 it was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this place because it's nice,quite and a real good treat.

Ginza Ramen and Poke
15069 Interstate 35 #217, SelmaEverytime I come, I love it here. Great sized portions of ramen and delicious. The poke bowls are mainly what I get and it's wonderful, always ask for sauce on the side. customer service is great and the food always comes out in an appropriate timely manner depending on how crowded it is. They do have limited seating for when it's busy but just take it to go. I love this place!

8250 Agora Parkway Suite 110, SelmaI went in today 08/16 around 6:45 PM, and was so impressed by the excellent service from the three ladies working today! I believe one of the ladies’ names was Erica (I’m bad with names and unfortunately can’t remember the other two ladies’ names).
All three were friendly, attentive, and
worked well as a team. There were moments when it was quiet with no customers to serve, and they still stayed productive. As soon as customers came in, all three were quick to come out, greet them, and provide the same friendly service.
It’s not often that we see this kind of service anymore, so I wanted to take a moment to commend these ladies for working together and providing such a positive experience. This is exactly what good teamwork and customer service should look like!
