“I’ve been a customer of Christian Brothers Automotive for about five years, and my recent experience reminded me why I continue to trust them with my vehicles. My wife recently brought my 2014 Honda Odyssey in for a significant power-steering repair. Shortly after getting the car back, she discovered that the A/C airflow was no longer working properly. I brought it back while my wife was on a business trip, and from her perspective, it felt like something had gone wrong during the service and now she was being asked to pay nearly $400 to fix it. I explained to the shop that, regardless of whether the A/C issue was technically related to the original repair, what mattered was the customer experience. My wife is not technical, and she had been a loyal customer for five years. I didn’t want her to feel that the shop was simply saying, “That’s not our problem.” To their credit, they listened and took care of the repair at no charge. Unfortunately, the problem came back three days later. I returned the car, and they kept it for a full day to properly diagnose it. They ultimately found a faulty component controlling the HVAC air-direction door and replaced it—again, completely free of charge, including parts and labor. They could have done much less or nothing, but instead they went above and beyond to take care of us. That kind of customer service is why I’m happy to continue bringing my vehicles here. I emailed them at 550 pm they told me to bring it by the next day and they would check it out. I expected a week turn around. Only alower radiator tube replacement was needed. One of the few places in the car mechanic world today that I will gladly and freely take my vehicle to anytime I need anything the are knowledgeable friendly and willing to help always.. over the years I’ve also noticed a healthy amount of classics and antique vehicles at their shop too.
