“I stayed here for a quiet night and it was nice. The rooms are nice and clean. The service was great. They have breakfast in the morning. Tv is okay, wish they had Netflix or some streaming, but they do have lots of channels.
It's in a good location, near the mall. I bad no complaints. Check-in was quick and easy. There was parking. I was alone and didn't feel uneasy, not outside or in.”
“This wasn't a place on our radar. Since our original stay was canceled last minute we decided to book this stay. Room looked brand new amd clean. Area around the hotel was clean amd looked nice. Service was super. Front desk service was excellent. Everybody was always ready to help and make our stay pleasant. Specially Kuma. Always going extra mile.”

I guess it is one of the few Staybridge in Texas that is worth paying for.
I was welcomed very well, and the woman at the reception ( 3pm on Saturday, January 5th) was really nice and kind.
Close to a lot of restaurants and shops, it is also next to the hospital.
Ideal for long and short staying, gymn and laundry room are free for the guests, the rooms are bright and spacious, comfortable bed and pillows, a mini kitchen complete with all the kitchenwares, a normal size fridge, a small stove and a dishwasher.
Monday to Wednesday, they have social evenings with free food and drinks, so you can skip going out.”

“I stayed at 2 different locations. The first location(13125 FM 1960) I would not recommend. Carpet was nasty, dresser broken, stove didn't work and the front desk clerk was rude and dismissive. However, the second location(9155 Hwy 6 N) was nice. The floors were clean and furniture intact. Everything was functional. The front desk gentleman was very nice and funny. Very down to earth. Would stay there again.”
“Needed a room in a pinch. Went through an online booking site that wound up being a nightmare but Anna at the front desk offerered the most professional service and got us up to our room while she dealt with the online issue for us. Above and beyond service plus the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Breakfast is actually worth waking up for.
Thanks to these guys we decided to stay another night at their regular rate which still isnt bad compared to the overpriced hotels in the area. 6 star”

“I have stayed in a few IHG locations in Houston in this one has certainly become my preferred. The location is quiet and within reach of a few commodities. The lobby is well kept and clean. Rooms are decent. The staff has always been friendly to me. Mary especially has been very sweet and very helpful! It's nice recognizing faces at places you stay and Mary has certainly become one of those faces. She's kind, great to work with if you need help regarding your stay, and ensures that the customer is helped. The restaurant is decent and not too pricey. Actually the food is pretty good. Thank you for making a part of my Houston stays great! I'll be back!”

“This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, to date. To start off, the hotel looked modern and very clean. The rooms were basically perfect, with all the amenities one could ask for, and the TV’s worked like a charm. The overall atmosphere was excellent, and should be what every hotel, in this price range, strives for. To add on top of that, the front desk and management were VERY CLEAR on what goes on here (e.g. bringing a pet, using their internet, or otherwise), and their standard is set high in enforcing said policy. They were also very friendly in explaining said policy. If I ever was to stay in a hotel, and to be going through the Tomball area, this would most definitely be the one, without a doubt. I thank all of you and all the hard work y’all do everyday for the people passing through Tomball.”

“Blanca is very rude…on one than more occasion she has disrespected my space and touched my food while I was fixing it. Taken my coffee cup off the machine as it was being poured into my cup, putting her finger into my cup acting as though she was wiping down the machine. Today I came down to smoke a cigarette. She intentionally can out side and sprayed my feet with Febreeze acting as though she was spraying the carpet outside. She than walked back in the kitchen to serve breakfast, what she was already doing before she followed me outside to smoke to harass me with febreeing me with FEBREEZ SPRAY. I reported her disrespect to management. She promised to handle it. Several hours later I was fixing some hot tea and asked her for some HONEY. She blatantly lied and said there was none left. I explained to her that I just saw a full thing of honey sitting on the counter. She than gave me the jar of honey. This behavior is unexcused.”
“I just wrapped up a week long stay here, so it's time to give my thoughts. I'll try to keep it fairly short and concise.
The good: The staff were all excellent. Everybody I interacted with was very friendly. The breakfast was good, but nothing to write home about. It was pretty much what you'd expect for a hotel breakfast. The bed was somewhat comfortable, but I'm an edge case. I get lower back pain on soft beds and found the couch to be more comfortable some nights. They have the usual proprietary TV box garbage, but because of the way the TV is mounted, it's extremely easy to unplug the HDMI cable and hook up your own entertainment. There's LOTS of outlets to plug in your devices, so you don't ever feel like you need a power strip to charge all of your devices. The room was definitely laid out with modern travelers in mind.
The bad: During hotter months (I'm writing this in late June) the hallways on floors 2-4 are HOT. Depending on the time of day the hallways will actually be hotter than it is outside. Most of the time they were around 85 degrees. The kitchen faucet in my room only got up to luke warm. Apparently that should not have been the case so maybe the next time I'm there that won't be a problem. The electric stove is basically what you'd find in a small RV. It takes forever to boil water (10 minutes for 2 packs of ramen, 25 minutes for a large pot of spaghetti). I was told that this is due to various regulations, but I've stayed at other Marriott family hotels in the Houston area where the stove had considerably more power.
The weird...: This is more of a nitpick and doesn't factor into my rating. Who the heck thought a shower with no door was a good idea? Instead there's a glass panel that covers about ⅔ of it with a wide opening on the far end. Made for a nice, wet, SLIPPERY floor right in front of the shower. Also, the shower knob is on the end where you get in, instead of under the shower head. I think that's a great idea myself as you don't get sprayed with cold water while turning on the shower, but a couple people I mentioned it to thought it was weirder than the shower being partially open.
Would I stay here again? Definitely. There's not a whole lot to do in the area, but that's fine with me as my vacations are to get away from everyone and have some time to myself.”

“The rooms are very nice. Lost of space. Not many plugs. The TV is lacking in the technology department. The maid service needs some help as my room didn't have the required cleaning or bathroom necessities, and the room wasn't vacuumed. The key cards kept being deactivated over my 4 night stay i had to get them re done 3 times. The one up said is the free breakfast and social hour.”

“The woman at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant in helping us book a last minute room when our original reservations fell through Leaving us stranded out of state. She had availability which was a miracle considering every where else was booked for the event nearby. Easy check in, 80 for one night which worked great for our situation, and the rooms were good. A wee bit run down, but to be expected. Having comfortable beds, a hot shower and clean space was more than enough. And the bathroom mirror was fantastic for doing your makeup.”
