“This experience was interesting. So sorry to those that are a little squeamish with the pictures I added) I was asking if I had ever roasted a whole pig before and I had but I didn't think I was going to be doing it again. After calling around for a 20lb roasting pig this store was able to order one for me and have it at the store for me to thaw it out and inject it and roast it in time for their Christmas Eve dinner. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and the butcher that helped me even helped me get it in my car. Now my only issues are first when I called in about ordering one and the pricing I was told that it was going to be $7.99 a lb but when I ordered it the very next day it went to $8.99 a lb. Also there was a language barrier both over the phone and while I was there since I don't speak Spanish and apparently they didn't understand English very well. So getting them to understand that I needed a whole roasting pig was very difficult. There was a lady behind me when I got there to pick the pig up told me that she needed to learn Spanish if she wanted to get helped (and she was Hispanic or TexMex as she called herself LoL) I thought that was quite rude of them. If it wasn't for another worker that understood what I was talking about I still would have had issues. All said and done the pig was a success and I'll definitely be back to shop at this store since they have a lot to offer and I want to go back when I'm not in a rush.”
“I've been going to this store for few years now and its been great. Store is always been clean compared to other Dollar Generals, atleast everytime I've gone in. Never had issues with anything. Morning clerk super cheerful in the morning, great guy. Only reason its not 5 stars was because the lady with dark long hair seems to be not so friendly. Not completely rude but small undertones of being snobby at times. I've read other reviews talking about her so thats the reason I now just posted. I'm sure she nice and its been off days but 75% of the time I go or when my family members go and experience the samething? Other than that I love going there and the staff and store always on point.”

“This is M&S Food Mart. It's a convenience store with a deli at the back. The store is owned by a very nice woman. She has leased out a part of the store to an enterprising black family and they are hooking up the food back there. They cook porkchop baskets, link baskets, catfish and hamburger baskets and some additional items. They had no formal menu. The owner said it's a neighborhood spot so everyone knows there menu. Outside the store looks a bit (I hesitate to say)... unwelcoming with the people loitering and sitting outside but they did not bother me and the owners of both the store and the deli were incredibly friendly. UNTIL.. I whipped out my cell phone and said i wanted to add the business to Yelp. "Yelp? What's that?" Was asked by both owners and a customer who had come to order. They were suspicious to say the least. I was keenly aware that in this neighborhood you don't start taking photos in establishments and putting them online. The business owners had never heard of Yelp and the average customer of their establishment didn't use online reviews. And the looks I was getting when I was trying to explain what Yelp was let me know that I had better not mention yelp or reviews and I quickly left the store. These folks were not having it. However I enjoyed my meal and I'm happy to add the establishment to Yelp!”
“Luckily, I came in as everyone was on their way out, but the two cashiers/employees probably got all the Patrons processed efficiently as I was making my rounds. The two cashiers / employees were courteous to each other while I was there. I had no problem finding the items I went in for, AND I appreciated ALL items shelved and not sitting in the isles like at other Dollar Generals I have recently been to.”

Though there are a few of the ladies that are rude and have a bad attitude. Attendee at gas store service is Nice though have seen him be aggressive and violent with a customer one day, and had stopped going there for a while.”

“I work relatively close to this store. Yeah the area around it looks sketchy and the store itself may seem a bit rough from the outside but it's what's on the inside that counts. I like the this place because it has it all. If I want to go light for lunch I can always pick up a personal fruit or vegy tray. I was in desperate need of a little aquaphor for my new tattoos and they had it. What got to me was their beer selection. This place has a 6 pack mix n match which is pretty nice. On one of their beer end caps you will find a lot of single bottles. This is a great way to find out if your going to like a beer before committing to a whole 6 pack or more. I also like the butcher style meat section in the back of the store. Everyone in the store is nice and the store is kept really clean, well stocked and neatly orginized.”
“Now this it's customer service! Mr. Albert provides more than just customer service. He is kind and friendly to everyone. Even those he's not helping. I saw this man help an elderly lady by scanning all her items and bagging them in the self checkout lane. Every person that walked by he would say hello to while helping. This gentleman needs to be recognized for his kind nature, warm heart and the ability to make someone happy with a brief conversation. It's been a busy day and I was a little cranky until now. Thank you Mr. Albert! I don't live near this Kroger but I will now come out of my way for this type of warmth. More than service, it is a welcome home.”
