413 Debora Dr, GeorgetownI can’t say enough good things about Betty. She’s a true animal lover. She doesn’t kennel your dog, she doesn’t restrain them while grooming. She lets them run around and sniff everything and adjust to the environment. She sends you pictures and videos the whole time they’re with her. My two dogs immediately loved her and felt completely comfortable, and so did I. She even took the time to teach me how to properly trim feet and fanny myself at home! Now that I know about Wholesome Doodle Spa and the collaborative grooming method that Betty uses I’ll never take my dogs to a standard groomer again. This is the way it’s meant to be done. It’s worth every single penny to me to have my dogs come back looking amazing and feeling amazing too.

They were so wonderful to us and caring. I called to see if they could help us and they were really understanding and said we could bring him in or call when we arrived and they could come get him from us in the car since it was probably to emotional for us. When we pulled up I called and someone came out to the car and presented us with cremation box options, it was easy and very nice of them. I will bring my other dog here from now on because of how amazing they are! I highly recommend this vet.

2900 FM971, GeorgetownI have been taking my Belgian Tervuren, Yoho, with Adrienne for the past couple of years. I feel Yoho is in such a great hands with her; I can easily tell when Yoho feels safe. As soon as we get to Adrienne’s place, Yoho is so happy, ready to go inside the air conditioning large boarding area. Her property is in a quite area and has a large open space (2-3 acres) where the dogs by groups, behaviors, and size. Since she is also a trainer, this is super important so dogs who tend to react are separated in its own private area outside. It doesn’t really matter how far I need to drive as long as Yoho is in a safe,loving and secure place…I’m grateful for Adrienne.

I have a 1 year old Yorkie that barks at everyone outside of our immediate family. I read books and watched videos and nothing worked. I started to feel that this is just how it would be. I spoke with Leannah about my pups issues and she made me feel confident that it doesn't have to be this way! After working with Leannah for just a short time, I can already see a difference! I am so grateful! We plan on doing more sessions with Leannah and I now recommend her to everyone that I know!

He sends pictures each day he visits (that are very high quality I'll add) to show me he is there and how happy my cat is. You can just tell that he really cares about the animal and takes time to love on her in my absence. He has also done minor household chores like keeping the plants and moving the trash bins which was a huge help as well. His last service for us was very last minute because a family member had passed away and he made a very emotional situation so much easier just knowing he was here and taking such quality care of my kitty. 905 N Church St, GeorgetownThis is a great café, gift shop, and event Space. The BiG mission to empower their citizens is great. The sunflower room can be rented out/booked for your events. The café menu is simple, but a good quality - the grilled cheese was really good. There are vegetarian items on the menu, including the quiche and the grilled cheese.
Overall both the café as well as the sunflower room are great places to enjoy a meal, catch up with friends or read a book with a nice cup of tea or coffee.

309 Coffee
309 S Main St, GeorgetownSometimes the best coffee in Austin is not even in Austin. It is in Georgetown. When I first moved to the area, I met up with a friend who lived in Georgetown, and she told me I had to try 309 Coffee as the first thing I did in Georgetown. She compared it to one of my favorite coffee shops and told me it was on par with that. It is high praise, and frankly, I doubted her coffee palette telling me it was comparable. We went and I had a really excellent latte. A week later, I returned to get the same thing again plus one of their cinnamon twists, then a month later, then a month later, and so on and so forth. I took my girlfriend to 309 when she came and visited. I have pointed it out to friends. That is how much I adored it. Most recently, I went back yesterday, and here we are. Before you even step foot in 309 Coffee, the front of the building is filled with plenty of tables with umbrellas, and there is a side patio with tons of additional space. Inside, the space is cozy from the faded wood floors and ceiling, the brick wall, and touches of black from the metallic chairs and the cup ware. The main room is open with plenty of tables, but it can still get pretty full. Luckily, there is a back room with even more space. The benches have outlets and USB A plugs for charging your devices especially if you are working on an extensive project and need juice on your computer. One of my favorite things on the menu for a time was their Evergreen Latte that I enjoyed through the winter and spring. I have had other lattes as well including their current autumn menu Maple Latte. Each of their specialty drinks feels intentional and never too sugary or too over the top which I feel like a lot of places do which leads to confused flavor profiles and a bad beverage. 309's specialty drinks are always flawless. Their drinks are very balanced between the flavors, the milk, and the espresso which I feel that some places fail to do, but 309 is consistently excellent. For the pastries, I have had a few from blueberry muffins to cinnamon twists to a mystery third thing and they have all been excellent. I have not explored all of their pastries yet, but nothing has led me astray. I keep returning to 309, and I plan to keep going back as long as I live in the area because they make the best coffee in the 512. RIYL: Well crafted coffee and dark wood aesthetics.

Otherwise, everything was super yummy. I really liked the vegan nachos and the oysters.

1855 SE Inner Loop, GeorgetownI can not express how much I appreciated the extent the people / workers went to help us pick out the right dog to foster. They didn’t hesitate to show us the dogs several times and I was impressed with how clean the place was. Misty went out of her way to ensure we got to see the operation at its entirety. What a great job she does it is reflected in how much the employees love their jobs. Everyone to a person went out of their way to make us comfortable and everyone asked us how they could help. Not many places do you get that level of satisfaction and compassion. Go see them they have a few (hundred) to choose from. All are waiting for you to take them home with you. The hardest part is narrowing it down to the right one. Meet GiGi the one we helped escape ???
