“I mainly only shop at Lowe’s for my home improvement needs. I’ve been wanting to build some barn doors in my house for two years and finally pullled the trigger and bought the wood. The team member George helped me find the wood I needed and cut it form me. We had one issue. I gave the dimensions in feet and “George” heard me in inches. Easy mistake. I didn’t realize until I got home that the cuts were wrong. I called and spoke to the manager “Richard”who told me just bring it back. When I returned they assisted me with getting the wood and the right cuts I needed. They have no idea how much their customer service meant to me. They earned a repeat customer in me for life. Great job to Lowe’s for hiring amazing people.”

Top it off, the staff were very nice as well as helpful to me when it came to everything I needed and take/placing it in my truck.”

“Needed a last minute truck for a job I'm on to haul so wood. Came in about 4:30 and told the rep that helped us that I'd be back by 7 when the rental station closes as it's just one load that needed to be picked up and dropped off. Given the size of the haul and the location of the drop off, needless to say I was not going to make that 7pm promise! I called and explained the situation and the rep, I believe his name was Johnny, was very understanding, especially about the overnight charge that I really wasn't looking forward to. While he is a customer service worker with a set schedule, while representing a big company, he's a man with a life and responsibilities and I genuinely appreciate that he was able to wait the extra 45 minutes it took for me to fill the gas back up and drop the truck off. Will definitely be coming back here (with better time management in mind! LOL!) Thanks again John”

“The store is always clean. One thing I like is when the employees are removing things from a shelf and having to use the forklift, they wait for the customer to get done shopping in the aisle instead of telling them to leave the aisle. (hopefully, that makes sense.)Update: Today I went in to buy some barn door hardware. There was a sticker on the display and three others. I decided to buy it and when I got to the register the hardware rung up a lot higher than what the sticker said. I told the head cashier and she went back to check. She came back and told me the sticker is for the door handle, not the hardware. I told her that is very misleading. She apologized and told me there isn't anything she could do. I have been in management positions for retail stores before, if an item is mismarked, the store honors the advertised price. Instead of arguing this point with her, I'll call the store tomorrow. I'll update when I have a resolution.Update to the above: Store honored the advertised price.”

Many shady people walking around the parking lot. Like that they have Police security but they don’t have them all the time, wish they had them all the time.”

I worked with Thomas, who was fantastic, but I could see/sense the professionalism, hard work, and customer focus of the entire staff.They have a huge supply of manufacturers and types of flooring. Thomas helped me work through this myriad of possibilities and find exactly what I was looking for. They are in process of installing right now and I couldn’t be more pleased. Installed looks exactly like the samples, etc..Thomas was a huge help as I am not an expert ( the exact opposite). Whether measuring, explaining terminology, expediting delivery, or working through last second clarifications, he had time/patience to make sure I knew what I was getting. This all happened from Thanksgiving through YE when it is very difficult to contact people and arrange deliveries.
