“Highly stocked Pakistani grocery store with many varieties and options for everything. Vegetables and fruits . Price of different cuts of chicken, goat and beef hand cut (zabiha) were pretty reasonable, you can order meats in bulk too but I am not sure about the price. Dried goods, oil and spices can be bought in bulk. The frozen food section was my favorite, plenty of sides, sweets and meat samosa and different kabob etc. last but not least with great staff and excellent customer service.”

What a nice little gem! There's a surprisingly variety of products not found any where else and there's also a butcher shop inside. The prices are not bad considering it's in the Medical Center and Astrodome area. The staff is always friendly. Bonus: The food trucks!”

“I always go to Pyburns mostly for meaty turkey necks and prepacked dirty rice and always comes out spending at least 50 bucks...good cleanliness of the store....great variety of meats but mostly of the cashiers are attitudish with bad customer service...I see why every time I go into the store it's always different ones”
“Found Herbert's by accident. I love Cajun cuisine, so I gave it a shot got lunch today. When I first saw it, I thought it was a meat market-it's is (more on that later). It's clean, sunlit and sizable. There are two doors, one goes into the eatery and the other enters into the meat market. I spoke to the staff and asked was there a Mr. Herbert's. They said there wasn't, but they introduced me to the owner, Mr. Capp. He informed me the Herbert's didn't want to leave Louisiana, but he has the franchise rights in Texas. The meat section was full of meat (Mr. Capp said they have a processing area in the rear). My lunch mate wondered if they would process a deer if you brought one. Mr. Capped said if you bring a wild deer or wild hog, they will process it. The meat you bring must be skinned & quartered-if not, they'll decline. They didn't have standard prices nor do work by weight, but Mr. Capp said they'll discuss prices once your ready to go. THEY DONT PROCESS FARM PIGS.Now to the eatery. Sadly, there's not a lot of seating area-that's the only drawback. There menu is section in appetizers, sandwiches, platters & special. I had boudin egg rolls & a boudin link. My lunch mate had a sandwich with tater-tots.Herbert's has several locations on Houston. I will be back and I'll try to bring my friends from the boot when they visit Houston.”

I stopped at the restaurant outside because Friday they have any fried basket is $6. The shrimp was really good, but the fried fish was so salty I could barely eat it. I scrapped off all batter I could and that helped, but I'm not sure I will ever eat there again”

“Small convenience market. They sell drinks, basic foods in general and basic necessities, they additionally sell fruits, vegetables and vegetables. They also have a butcher section and a kitchen where they sell breakfast, lunch and dinner, with tables and chairs so you can eat right there.”
