“We attended a performance last night for the first time. Since I purchased my tickets online, I had little interaction with the staff then but that process went smoothly. Also, the tickets were fairly affordable to the public, too. At the night of the event, getting in there was plenty of parking that is well lit and I felt secure. Going inside, the staff was visible and friendly and we were asked/directed three times to help us find our seats in the balcony. As for the seats, I don’t think there is a bad seat there… except the box seats are odd to me, they are one by one and facing away from each other. My seat in the balcony was close enough to see what was going on and unobstructed by the people in front of me.If there is a performance happening here that you want to see, do it!”

“When I first toured the venue it was very charming and I loved the energy. I was extremely stressed and did not know what questions to ask. I had been searching all over DFW for a beautiful and affordable venue. When I stumbled across The Journey Cafe I was so relieved. Kim was easy to deal with and kept in contact with me over the months of planning. She calmed my nerves several times and even sent ideas for decor since this was a DIY wedding. The day of the wedding was a blur, but I had an amazing time with friends and family and was so happy to marry my new husband that I barely noticed any little hiccups that occurred. I danced, laughed, and danced some more. Everyone had a great time and complimented us on a beautiful wedding and great party. We didn't use the club portion of the house, but the guest appreciated all the bathrooms and the fire pit we used for s'mores.It's a very lovely location, and very affordably priced.”

“I know this a staple to the Hispanic community in Central and West Irving but something needs to be done about the maintenance and upkeep of this place. It could really use some renovation and cleaning up not just inside the bazaar but on the outside lot - it's looked about the same since I went almost 20 years ago. Place usually has music playing with various shops from local merchants and food available. just a bit of organization would be nice.”

Nice view of their pool on the backside, but still looking at a huge parking lot. Convenient to many restaurants, gas , banking, and toll ways.Friendly staff and a quick refresh center located in the lobby. It's reasonably priced for the amenities you get.Rooms: Spacious and clean.”

“Rooms are relatively clean but there is a faint smell in the main entrance that was just barely noticeable. Morning buffet had good food and was clean. Rooms are also clean but the hallways are kind of horrendous. Random stains and rips and folds all over the third floor.”

“My family comes down to the Dallas area every few months from OKC for a quick get away and we tend to hotel hop every time we come down. I've only stayed at this property once and it was great. I'm an aviation geek and love watching planes come and go and this hotel has a great view of the runway to watch planes takeoff/land at DFW. Definitely going to stay here more often.”

“Never heard of Sonesta, let alone Simply Suites. Always have stayed at other places similar, but the difference is mindblowing than ever. Staff was very friendly and respectful and describe the premises and what they provided. Room floor plan was excellent and I like the fact that the room wasn't mostly carpet. The one thing that I never got with other places was the dishwasher which was a surprise and I took advantage of the accommodation. I've stayed here more than once and looking forward to the next stay. ??”
“Overall it was a nice place. Way too much light comes into the rooms from all the outside lights and the blackout curtains are not long enough. Also had a problem with very little hot water in the morning for a shower. The restaurant/bar was good and the outdoors space is great for hanging out.”
