“Flawlessy smooth process from start to finish. They provided me a quote over the phone when I first reached out, and I was able to schedule them to come measure the day after I closed on my home so we could get the ball rolling quickly. Cesar was very low pressure. He made a few suggestions, some I accepted and others I did not. He listened to what I wanted, and we ironed out a plan that would work. Installation crew showed up on time and got right to work. Props to the guys for working around my dogs, too. I had workers outside the home at the same time and could not put my dogs outside, so they were tethered to me on their leashes. One is very reactive and dislikes strangers. The installation crew was great about giving a verbal heads up if they were going to pass through the room giving me a chance to redirect my reactive dog. By the time the installation was done, my dogs couldn't have cared less about their presence. The crew cleaned up after themselves. The door looks fantastic, and I can't wait to enjoy it.”
“Oddly Ace is a nostalgic place for me. Always visited back home in our little town when I was little. To my surprise it still has that early 90s feeling for me. They also have a nice home decor department that sells one of my favorite brands. Had a key made and they were really quick getting in done.”

“I stopped in for a garage door spring. They had what I needed. The salesperson was extremely helpful. He made sure I knew exactly what to do and added some helpful hints. I can repair most anything, so I decided to give it a try. Their YouTube video was spot on. It calls to be extremely careful, due to the winding of the spring. They made the replacement very easy. I hope I do not need them again, but will make the 40 mile drive if I need to. Thanks P4GD!!”
“They have a good variety of Microlife products for organic lawn and gardening, at a GREAT price. Nice and helpful staff/ owners who will greet you every time and make sure you find what you need. They will also help you place an order if the items are not available in store. Clean parking lot with plenty of spaces. Definitely my go to place for high quality organic fertilizers and compost.”

“Our local Ace Hardware store is great. Far better than a close Lowe’s & Home Depot stores. Staff is great & they walk around the store stopping to ask all shoppers if they can help or assist them. This NEVER happens in Lowe’s or Home Depot. Prices meet or better than the other local stores. Due to Ace’s overall physical building size, Ace doesn’t have the lumber, appliance & other sections but for most everyday hardware needs they have what you maybe needing or looking for!! “Old school store built on good inventory good folks and customer service. I've been a steady customer since it was a hole in the wall and the former owners would only turn on the lights for a paying customer. Oh fond memories of my early years in Houston. If you can't find what you need here you may not need it bad enough, they have everything that I have ever needed. Fasteners, tools, plumbing, electrical, painting you name it you can find it here.”
“I will never go anywhere else now. I walked in for the first time today, I'm new to the area and was having a hard time hanging things in my apartment. I went to Lowes yesterday and got nowhere so after reading the great reviews, I went here today and Scotty and Kathleen were INCREDIBLE. Scotty knew EXACTLY what I needed and even introduced me to some new products I'd never even heard of; Kathleen greeted me as soon as I walked in and was so genuine and kind. Whatever you're paying them, they deserve a raise because let me tell you; not all of us grew up with fathers who showed us how to do things, and for those of us who didn't, it can be hard even walking in the door knowing someone might look at you like you're stupid for asking a question most people know. Not only did I walk out with exactly what I needed and then some, I walked out knowing I have a safe space right up the road that will answer all of those questions for me and not judge me for asking them. Scotty, I've worked retail so I know people tend to look down on you, I also know interacting with the public all day while being on your feet really takes its toll. If ever you're having a bad day, I hope you'll come back and read this and remember that you are absolutely making a difference. Every time a man shows me how to do something that I wish I'd had a dad teach me to do, it heals that wound just a little more, which in turn makes me a better person. That ripple effect is what we all need more of and I'm grateful I found it today.”

“What a great place!! It reminds me of those hardware stores from those little towns where customer service is their top priority! Mr. James Cho helped me out and was able to find out if my Ryobi Leaf blower and vaccum was still under warranty. It was! He helped me talk to Ryobi and they sent me a new leaf/vaccum! I was thrilled! Very professional and I would recommend them!”

“Dang. I find it a rare occurrence when I can just go to a place and get the hardware I need the same day… and I buy some uncommon hardware. Most of the time at Grainger and Fastenal I get told the items I want will take about 3-5 days to arrive. If I’m lucky, I can pick up maybe 1/5 of my order today and wait for the rest to arrive.

I order only metric (get with the program) and the Nut Place had exactly what I needed: bolts, locking nuts and washers, all 8.8 steel, all zinc coated. No mixing and matching. No “half your order is in metric and the other half we’ll have to do imperial”. None of the “bolts are galvanized nuts and washers are zinc coated”. Just exactly what I wanted. No compromise. Company card so I can’t speak to the price and how it compares to others but when the others can’t deliver, the cost of convenience is worth every penny.
Bottom line: this place COULD have the worst customer service and I’d still give them 5 stars because they do what other industrial supply companies WISH they could do. Take note, Grainer and Fastenal.

“Took my honda pressure washer that I've had for six years and I beat it down till it didn't work any more! Had a great experience at Northern Tool + Equipment in the Tomball/Willowbrook area. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful from the moment I walked in. They were knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer questions and help me find exactly what I needed without rushing the process.
The cashier lady was especially professional, friendly, and efficient during checkout. She made the entire experience smooth and welcoming with her positive attitude and excellent customer service. It’s always refreshing to see employees who genuinely care about helping customers and creating a good atmosphere.
The store itself was clean, organized, and stocked with a huge variety of tools, equipment, and accessories for both professionals and everyday projects. Everything was easy to locate, and the overall environment felt well managed and professional.

“I was an Industrial Arts teacher in the 1980s and Circle Saw was our go to for machines, parts, and repairs that I couldn’t do myself. The staff has always been well informed on the old and new machines. When asked about where to buy or have a machine serviced I always sent them here. Yep, I’m now in my 70s and still feel the same way. With vocational education seeing a comeback in schools I am glad Circle Saw is here for them.”
