The staff at Woof Gang is incredible! They always greet us with a warm smile, and you can feel the genuine love and care they have for every dog. My dog, Pebbles, absolutely loves going there, and she’s always so excited when we arrive. It’s such a relief knowing she’s not just another client—they treat her like family.
What really sets them apart is the attention to detail and the extra care they give. Pebbles always comes out looking adorable, and it’s clear that they take their time to ensure she’s comfortable and happy throughout the grooming process. Whether it’s just a bath or a full grooming session, they always exceed my expectations.

If you purchase a service online from another city and you need to refund the service like (Dog Training) PetSmart will try and make you go into the store for the refund even if it was an online purchase or your 5 miles away one way. We were instructed to go into out Local store where the Manager and assistant Manager were rude, difficult and refused to assist. We've been passed around from online departments to service ro corporate and the problem has not been resolved. I don't fault the store and the associates listed about have been great. I would not recommend purchasing an online service in another city as a gift to avoid this headache and ridiculous protocol.

Four employees, along with my husband and me, worked together seamlessly to pick out and load the aquarium without any hesitation. Their teamwork was impressive!
Not only did they assist with the physical setup, but they also offered valuable advice on the right chemicals to use for preparing the new tank. Their tips for transitioning my fish to the new environment were incredibly helpful and gave me confidence in the process.
Overall, the staff at PetSmart went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for my new aquarium. I highly recommend the North New Braunfels TX store to anyone in the area!

She always takes time to answer my questions, even when I feel like I’m overthinking or asking the most basic things, and she never makes me feel rushed or brushed off. I walk out feeling reassured every single time.
And let’s be real, she deserves a raise. Truly. She’s one of those people you ask for first if she doesn’t answer the phone because you trust her that much. That kind of consistency, kindness, and dedication is rare.

Comal Pet Hospital & Resort
1320 I 35 N Frontage Rd, New BraunfelsI was in Texas for a week with my parents when my senior chihuahua suddenly stopped using his back legs. My parents bring their pups to Comal Pet Hospital so this was of course who we called - they were able to get my pup in within 2 hours. Being out of town, the office made it so easy for me during an extremely scary day - they reached out to my home vet (in Oregon), had all of records sent over and reviewed them before we got to the office to see Dr. Cruz. The entire staff were so caring and helpful from the second I called for an emergency appointment through the follow ups the days after. Dr. Cruz was very informative and took the time to make sure I understood the diagnosis and care plan. I was sent home with a recovering pup, all of the prescriptions we would need, and a detailed document of our visit for me to bring back to our vet back home.
I had some concerns with my pup's reactions to the medicine, called and left a voicemail on a Friday not expecting follow up given the weekend on the horizon. Dr. Barrera took the time to call me back late Friday and again go through all of my dog's history, diagnosis and current treatment plan. She gave me an updated dosage for some of his medicines and then sent a detailed email with all of the details of our discussion, which I sincerely appreciated!
I would highly recommend Comal Pet Hospital - and I cannot thank them enough for their care of my little guy!!!

1445 S Walnut Ave, New BraunfelsI'd like to start this review out by saying Dr. Fowler is a godsend! I am a first-time puppy owner and went through a reputable website to do my research on a breeder. I specifically wanted a Shih Tzu puppy and the breeder I selected had a litter available, but they weren't quite ready for pick up. The day came for me to finally pick up my new puppy and leading up to picking her up, the breeder had informed me that she was 100% healthy and had been cleared by 1 of the 4 vets she use. After picking my new girl up, I noticed her eye looked swollen and was red. She could barely open it and when I reached out to the breeder, she told me it could be irritated from the bath she had given her right before pick up. Due to picking her up on a Saturday, a lot of vets are closed on the weekend unless you take them into an emergency Hospital. Monday morning, I was able to get my girl in. Dr. Fowler came in and did her recommended testing to properly diagnose my sweet puppy. It turns out I received her with a pre-existing ulcer on her eye at eight weeks old. Doctor Fowler listened to my concerns and addressed everything I brought to her attention. Because I mentioned something about mucousy stool, she suggested I get a fecal test done. I am so glad she did because I was able to find out my new eight week old puppy came with parasites as well. I am so thankful she recommended all of the testing that was performed on my sweet girl so we can address everything and get her to 100% healthiness. Dr. Fowler's bedside manner is out of this world! She took the time to explain to me, a new pet owner, everything she was doing to where I could easily understand what she was saying. She actually made me feel more relieved than I was walking in even after finding out the diagnosis of what was going on. I also love the fact that she sends a full and detailed report of the visit. She also included in the report about how she advised me to reach out to the breeder for reimbursement for this vet bill. Thankfully everything is treatable and we are now on the road to recovery. I am so happy. I brought my new puppy in to this clinic. I will most definitely continue to bring my girl in to receive the best care! Thank you again Dr. Fowler! You are the BEST!!

From the receptionist all the way through to the vet, they are kind, caring, and attentive to my “nervous Nellie” boys. Dr. Farris takes time to explain and answer all my questions without making me feel rushed. My oldest has an autoimmune disorder and she is highly attuned to that and considers this with all of his care decisions. Oh, and they do a great job keeping the place clean and smelling good!!!

But now that we’ve moved here to New Braunfels, we FINALLY found a wonderful place that gives off the same energy and compassion as the place we used to take her to back home, and i couldn’t feel more relieved! The entire staff is beyond exceptional and friendly. It feels so good to find a spot where we can trust she’ll be treated like family again. I knew I wanted to develop a good rapport between myself and her (I needed training just as much as she did). As I researched Google for potential dog trainers I kept being called back to K9 Citizens Club. I took the path provided for me with Marcus Taylor at K9 Citizens Club. I AM SO GLAD I DID! I was able to have a free one-on-one private consult with Marcus at my home so we could discuss my objectives and for him to assess Tipsy. Marcus has such a gentle approach with his training. His 20+ years of working with dogs gives him keen insight to dog behaviors and habits. My little gal Tipsy has progressed remarkably!! First scared of everything now she does her sit, stay, come, eagerly takes her crate and is progressing brilliantly to her other commands that Marcus has me working on. As Marcus says - it takes baby steps & patience! I highly recommend K9 Citizens Club!

2136 Dorman Dr, New Braunfelswe can't rave enough about david and his training - not just for our dogs but mostly, for us as dog parents! he is patient and kind and always a pleasure to be around. he never makes us feel bad if we aren't doing our homework between sessions and is consistently positive and encouraging. he's worth every single penny. we feel like our new puppy is on the right track to being a well-behaved, confident dog; and our 6 yo clearly remembered his training from before he joined our family - we just hadn't kept up with it. we're so impressed with our dogs and their progress and that is all thanks to david and his expertise. if you've seen his vanity plate, he truly is the new braunfels dog whisperer! the group classes with other dogs and their owners are also VERY beneficial! our older dog has a lot of anxiety but showed us the first time we joined group that he's a good boy who just needs a little guidance and reassurance. your dog is NOT untrainable even if you think he/she might be. let david show you the way!

Food is served only a few days a week, so I've never tried it, but I hear it's pretty good. Pool tournament on Tuesday is pretty hopin and they usually draw a good crowd. Come check out this historical old bar and have a few, or play a few games of pool. I always enjoy myself. Good times.

Everything I’ve tried is delicious, my kids love the food (which is a huge deal) as a self proclaimed chicken strip connoisseur, they have the BEST chicken strips in town. Today I tried the chicken & waffles with an oat milk latte and it was amazing!
Every time I bring my kids to the children’s museum we stop in here for lunch or breakfast. Their soup of the day is always so so good. The best broccoli cheddar soup I’ve ever had. Next time I come I want to try their flat bread pizza!
Don’t underestimate this place. It’s my new favorite spot! The employees are so friendly and welcoming as well. Love love love this place!!
