For example pasteurized eggs have been the same price for 2 years even though they say egg prices have gone through the roof and then they said the egg prices came down but they never change them once there. “I love coming here because the ladies working are always super sweet and always greet customers walking in. They make the customers feel very welcome! However, there's always various homeless men hanging out in front of the store, asking for money as you leave. I noticed many customers actually give them money, so yeah of course they keep coming back. It shouldn't be up to these women to approach these men and make them leave, as it could be dangerous, but this issue needs to be handled, as it's been going on for years. Sometimes I straight up leave and go somewhere else when I pull up and see a man there.”

“If there's one thing that I love, it's finding a hole in the wall corner store. This place is great, it's not a gas station but an old-school corner store. They have all the essentials, snacks, drinks, a cold one, and the lotto. It's super clean and the staff always has a nice smile.”

“This seems like it is a family owned business so they open and close as they please. Business hours listed on here aren't right. I've lived next to this store for two and a half years and the earliest I've seen it open is 8am. They do always close at 10pm though. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, there is a taco truck that is parked out there. Truck usually gets there at 4-5pm and stays till 11pm on Friday and Saturday and 10pm on Sunday. This small store has the basic necessities such as milk, ham, eggs, bread, tortillas, and canned goods. They also have household items like toilet paper, detergent and soap as well as hygiene items like shampoo, deodorant, pads, and razors. Of course chips, drinks and beer is here also. It is a bit pricey though! But if you don't want to make the trip to Walmart to get basic things, I guess it's worth it.”
“Decently clean facility. Cameras on every wall and a screen to watch each camera view in the back. There is a drink and food vending machine as well. Normal load wash will cost about $2.50. They have clothes carts to transfer laundry and plenty of chairs spread around the facility. They als have a couple of tvs to keep you entertained. Overall pretty great!”
“They make a good hamburger and a good cheeseburger just go ahead and get it with fries it only cost a few cents more and they're probably going to serve it to the fries anyway so you may as well just order it that way but yeah the burgers are good they are cooked from frozen but they really don't taste like that it is cooked on an open flame burger wise in the Pasadena area in the old part of Pasadena where this is that is actually at the best burger out there”

The Cincinnati-based supermarket giant will open about 110 new stores in fast-growing markets by 2029 and introduce three updated store formats, executives told investors Oct. 20 at the company’s Investor Update in New York. Kroger already runs about 2,700 stores in 35 states. The formats come in three sizes, a bit like small, medium and large, matched to each market. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, walked through the lineup.
Walmart shoppers want a head start on the holidays, and money explains a lot of it. Some 44% of respondents call affording the holidays their top stressor, and 61% say holiday costs shape their shopping mood. Asked what would make the season easier, 70% picked lower prices and 57% picked more deals and promotions. Convenience ranks lower: 30% want one-stop shopping across categories, and 20% want faster delivery.
Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
