I didn't forget the name because my Dad's name is Joe, lol! I used to shop at Walmart and HEB but was looking for a store with mom approved prices. I decided I'd give Joe V's a shot! The first time I stepped into the store I knew I would never go back to the other grocery stores! Almost everything is HEB products at discounted prices! Iv'e bought not only quality food, produce but also kitchenware! They have air fryers, utensils, dog food, beauty products, hair products, and so much more! During the pandemic and during hurricane season I know I can count on Joe V's to always be stocked or restocking! The employees and managers are always so helpful and looking out for their customers. Truly a great place to shop.”

“Im not sure why google keeps changing the hours for this store but I work there and we have never stayed open till 11pm and it causes a lot of problems for the customers who think we are open. I keep posting an edit to the times and google changes it for about a week then changes it back. Someone from google even called the store and asked our hours of operation and was told 8am to 10pm sun thru sat please stop changing it to 11pm nightly. Its not fair to the customers or the employee's who get yelled at bc we arent open at 11 pm at night. Please change the time its causing a lot of issues.”

I didn't go to LP Food Store too many times before it was bought and sold, I believe the people who bought it, definitely should've been there a long time ago. They always got the big game on TV, good people behind the counter, and they really don't know a stranger. “I love this corner store! They open at 5 am and close at midnight, except on Sundays (when I think they open at 6 am instead.) They have a good variety of chips and drinks. They also have pints of ice-cream and frozen Tombstone brand pizzas, which I have never seen for sale at any other corner store before. Everyone working there is sweet. The guy working there Josh is also super cute and he needs to quit being scared and just come over to my apartment already.”

“Prices are comparative to other places. It can get busy and you may have to wait, they only have 3 pump stands which means 6 vehicles at a time can fuel up. Staff is nice and helpful. I have never had a problem with the fuel.”
