“Love shopping here. Great quality and selection here. Unfortunately cant give 5 stars bc this location is seemingly short staffed. There was a 30+ people back log at the meat counter (20+min wait). Its also the third week in a row there hasn't be a single package of butter or flour tortillas for sale. I hope they can hire more people to meet their demand”
“I was at the Plano store this morning and it was so very crowded, but I had a really great employee named Larry who helped me find some products that I did not know where they were and he couldn’t have been nicer. He went out of his way to make sure I got everything I needed. He represented your store in a very positive way. Thank you, H-E-B and Larry.”
“This store was a hidden gem for me! As a Brazilian-American I felt thrownback into my childhood and saw items such as phebo soap, colorama nail polish, and the chocolate Easter eggs I got as a child. They also have Brazilian stables and a wonderful frozen/fridge section of meats, cheese, and bread. I was impressed and excited to return. The cafe in the back was so good and has iconic salgadinhos like Kibe and Coxinha. If you’re Brazilian in the DFW area or if you want a taste of Brazil this is the place!”
“This place is wonderful! Me and my husband lived in Istanbul for a couple of years and we are SO excited to have found this store. They have an amazing selection of Turkish products, produce, dairy, and frozen goods. There is a butcher counter with some of the best quality items I've seen, super clean and beautifully organized. We chatted with the butcher himself and he was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. There is a café inside as well with a wide selection of fresh, delicious, handmade Turkish foods so we had to order some! We also chatted with the couple who runs the café and they were so kind and happy to talk with us about the business. The fresh produce they had was of great quality as well, and the prices are extremely reasonable!
I absolutely recommend coming to this business, even if you arent firmiliar with Turkish foods, it's a wonderful experience. And definitely if you are looking for Turkish products this is *the* place to go, you'll be so happy that you did. We can't wait to go back!”

“This place will have the goodies for your European food cravings. Wonderful staff! They will help you discover items to develop your European food taste, too! You will find deli salads and ready to eat meals, frozen perogies and dumplings, rich cakes, and items with longer shelf life, such as Zefir (a more natural type of marshmallows), ethnic seasoning, rare grains, and canned food. Entering the store will transport you to another place geographically and, to some extend, historically. It has a warm sense of a community, where visitors are often received with the sense of belonging. You will want to return again and again! Give it a try!”

“Amazing produce. Bulk herbs like mint, dill, methi, and basil. Specialty middle eastern food. Fresh made breads. Goat, beef, chicken and halal meat. Not a big place, but they have many foods you will not find in typical Plano grocery stores.”

“I have always liked Tom Thumb. Doesn’t matter which location I go to, they’re always consistent. One might be in an older market than another. But it’s always clean, organized, and friendly atmosphere. And the people are always welcoming and helpful too. Compared to other supermarkets they seem to always have better quality produce and food. I mostly shop their sales. Love their bakery and custom ordered cakes too. I use their pharmacy for my prescriptions. Only a couple of times in the past five years of coming to this location having a delay. One was because the brand of med I was prescribed wasn’t readily available. I think someone could have notified me. So when I received a text that it was ready for pickup, I drove up there and it wasn’t. I had to go back a couple of days later. Weird but that’s what happened. And for that I knocked off one star. Since then they have it and on time.”
“Little store, pretty expensive. I think it’s a good option if you crave or want to try specific Eastern European foods. Agree with other reviews about staff being not too friendly. I speak Russian, so at least man at front was pretty welcome, but lady at the meat counter just gave a cold look.
But selection is pretty good, I didn’t get anything this time, but I will definitely keep that store in mind.”
