“Ufcu has been great for me. I went to a different branch today and there were no human tellers. Just a screen with a payphone type handle for privacy if desired. It was weird. If you want to deal with humans in front of you, I don't recommend this branch. Otherwise, great credit union.”

“Good luck trying to call them on the phone. I called the local number, and not a single one of the options presented lets me speak to a human to inquire about safe deposit boxes.
UPDATE: the email provided by the response to my original review was very helpful. Also, while there is no phone menu option about what I wanted to ask, apparently pressing 5 and picking one of the next options could get you to a human who can answer your question even if the phone menu suggests they can't.”

I have been a member for 35 years and absolutely get the best service here.”
“My previous experience with business banking gave me trepidation to open a new account however I found Cheryl to be extremely insightful and surprisingly delightful. They offer a money market savings that offer somewhat low APY but given free ACH and Zelle transactions and minimal fees it really is a good fit for small businesses who have high volume electronic transactions. The reception is open on the weekend where many competing banks offer limited ATM or drive-thru access. Looking forward to banking here for a long time.”

“Writting this review because I was honestly surprised to see anything 3 star and below. I've been with UHCU for over 20 years now and can tell you that yes there is sometimes a wait but where ever is there never a wait? Their rates are great and I have had several personal loans and vehical loans through them with ZERO issues.
You chose this place not only for the great people and rates but because it has been a part of Austin, TX since 1957 where it once was only a Military Federal Credit Union. This place was built on the backbone of supporting military and health care personnel.
Being born and raised in Round Rock as well as having served my country, UHCU is just part of my bringing up in life and they will forever have my business.”

“I've never really found a bank that I love because let's face it, banking is not easy. There are lots of moving pieces and it can be confusing or frustrating to the average banker, like myself. I was pretty upset with my old bank for the last time when I walked into R Bank a couple weeks ago ready to switch again. Kelsey hands down has been amazing, she helped fix all my problems that were steming from my old bank and she made me immediately feel taken care of, cared for and she even sent me on my way in a better state than when I walked in. They give the best customer service and did a wonderful job on our mortgage. It is easy to get help if I have any issues. “I went into the branch one afternoon with a problem with my account.Veronica Aguilar greeded me, we sat down and she went to work. She admitted she may not be able to help. She tried so many .different things. When she couldn't figure it out, she went to her manager. He came out, listened and confirmed it was a scenario that their positions can't do. We then went to his office. Veronica didn't give up. Her customer service was incredible.”
