I personally was looking for a panda duck and Kim did an amazing job at finding me a panda duck for my collection. Her prices are amazing and inventory even more impressive. “I visited the store on a weekday afternoon and was greeted warmly upon entering. I took my time and looked around downstairs and also went upstairs where the sale items are. Everything in the store is so adorable!! I purchased a few small items and the woman that rang me up was so kind. She even gave me a flyer to an event they were gonna have later that week. After my purchase I went around the cute building outdoors to take photos. I loved the store and the little area it's in.”

“I've never been in this store but my daughter goes in all the time. While doing some back to school shopping I went in with her and was surprised of the variety the store has. I believe the person that helped us was Joann ( awesome green hair and makeup) she was soooo nice, she made sure she told us about specials, coupons, and promotions. Great place for kids and adults. “I don't often think highly of gift shop/souvenir stores so Life in Alamo City is a nice surprise. It's got a lot of merchandise from clothing (novelty t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc.) to mugs, jewelry, charms, postcards, pens to Texas food products such as BBQ rub, aprons, mitts and so on. Very neat and clean and it seems that it is family owned and operated. If you're looking for San Antonio souvenirs I definitely recommend Life in Alamo City.”

“I absolutely love this place BUT, given this past election season they had a huge display of Trump 2020 everything. You name it they got it. I'm all for vote for whom you choose but for a store that carries many different items from all walks of life, I don't see why they couldn't be neutral and cater to other people whom are not republicans. They are diverse in other ways so i know it is possible, They do have a great selection of villages and other gift shops items. I have spent hundreds upon hundreds with them. But a full trump display and trump masks upon check out does not sit well with myself. Also the owner or the lady (short hair) seems a bit angry. But I still purchase.”
