“This company is awesome. The products speak for itself but what I want to talk about is their customer service. I had an order ghost on me probably because I used the wrong email and it was a weekend, after a couple emails I decided it was best to just call, 2 rings and within 3 minutes we had a living American named Pete on the phone assuring us our order was in process and on the way soon. We love and support our veterans and this company is hands down as good as it gets.”
“Take some money with you. But if you thought the service industry was dead ,stand corrected. Penners offers nothing but top notch 100% service. There are some womens options but yes mostly aimed at men's clothing. I am big and tall. Have not needed nice clothes in decades. Walked in wearing shorts and a t shirt. Did not matter. The professionalism and wisdom yes I said wisdom was unmatched. Free parking even though downtown san antonio. Every service member Knew exactly what to recommend and knew exactly what they were doing. Hand shakes and respect. Highly recommend.”
“21 May 2026: I was there when the store opened. The gentleman who helped me was really knowledgeable. He asked me a few questions. The 4-styles recommended all seemed perfect, but I wanted them to complement my lifestyle. He helped me find the perfect sunglasses. I am happy with the salesperson, the store, the price...and really love my new shades.”
“After my wedding, I was able to receive a $250 voucher from an out of state location from all of our groomsmen tux rentals which is an excellent deal. My wife and I were looking forward to using this voucher on a new suit for me.
However, there was a lot of trouble going between multiple locations because no one could figure out how to activate our voucher.
We were then instructed by one San Antonio location to drive to this Jos A Bank location.
We had to race across town from another location to try to arrive before closing, and Briona and Tiffany were the only ones able to provide exceptional service to troubleshoot our issues. By calling our original out of state location, the first San Antonio location and finally, the customer service line, we were thankfully able to obtain our voucher, had a perfect suit fitting, and multiples ties on sale.
The world needs more customer service like this. Thank you Tiffany and Briona”

“Rented a tuxedo from here for my wedding this past November. I’m a big guy so finding a tuxedo that not only fit well, but looked good was a struggle at first. That was until I came to Rex Formal and Janie, The Store Manager, provided excellent service and had me fully setup within minutes. The owner personally took care of the reshaping, clearly knew what he was doing, and was one of the friendliest people I’ve met in a shop like this. “Shopped at Satels for years ... best quality men's clothing in the city. Met a great guy Lonnie last year. Help me create a special outfit for a big occasion.. nailed it. Got tons of compliments and felt super confident I'm the suit/ shirt tie combination he selected for me. Yesterday I passed the Satels store headed to a neighboring restaurant. Had a vest catch me eye. I texted Lonnie simply to ask if he had my size in that vest. Next thing I know Lonnie comes to the restaurant with 2 different vests in a few sizes and tells me they are 20 percent off I selected the one I wanted. He took my card and brought back my new vest . Unbelievable costumer service. Lonnie went above and beyond to take care of me. I will always be a loyal customer. If you need any assistance at Satels ask for Lonnie. He's the best!!
