“Haven't had a haircut in about 4 years, came in because of a job offer I have but they wanted me to cut my hair.. i walked in and Eric was the guy who attended me. I appreciate that he took his time with me since and even pulled out a few references on how I wanted it cut. It felt so good to get a haircut I fell asleep lol.
Me being from a different state its been a bit hard finding a barber but Urban City Barbershop has some really good barbers and guys actually wanna be there and it shows in how everyone respects eachother and their attention to detail.

“I honestly don’t know how the service could have been any better! Seth was absolutely amazing! His professionalism, knowledge, and patience were outstanding. I’m very indecisive, and he patiently walked me through countless frames, explained the different lenses and polarization options, and helped me understand what would work best for my progressive lenses. He never made me feel rushed and truly went above and beyond. My husband and I purchased two pairs of prescription glasses, and we’ll definitely be back for our second pairs! I left the store so impressed with the experience. Seth is a true asset to Oakley, and I highly recommend him!”

“My experience with this shop was 10 out of 10. I was in need of a shirt very last minute because the previous shop I ordered from fell through at the last minute. When I first called and mentioned that I only needed one shirt I was told they don’t typically do single shirt orders, which I completely understand. When Ray asked what I needed it for I said it was a coaches gift for my son’s baseball coach. He then asked what we wanted on the shirt and to send him the image of what we wanted. He said he would see what he could do. Within 30 minutes he called me back and sent back an image of what he had created. He was willing to make the shirt with the exact image I sent him, and had it ready for pick up the next day before we had to leave out of town for a tournament where the team planned to give the coach his gift. Ray was amazing and saved the day with my last minute requests. The quality of the print was amazing. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for quality work. I will be a returning customer for sure!”
“I stopped by Gil’s Boot & Western Wear today to get my hat reshaped, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The owner personally took care of the reshaping, clearly knew what he was doing, and was one of the friendliest people I’ve met in a shop like this. Excellent service, fair prices, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend Gil’s if you need boots, hats, or western gear.”

Connie at Royal tuxedo is the sweetest and kindest person to work with, she listened to what I wanted in my tuxedo and the fit I was going for and tailored it accordingly where others places just wanted to shove me into a one size fits all with minimal or no alterations. Her prices also seemed to be the most competitive at the time (2 years ago) and I still wear my tux til this day to various formal events. She’s the owner and operator and is seriously just so sweet and caring. Everytime someone asks for a recommendation this where I send them, my father in law also had his tux done with Connie and he was very pleased!”

The gentleman there named Roman did a fabulous job helping me try on suits. My new suit with shirt and tie cost half of what places that rent them, and it is mine to keep!!”

“I've shopped at Aviva three times and will be making my fourth trip today. The store has been jam packed with people but the line never fails to move quickly. With the San Antonio Spurs making a playoff push it is no surprise the store is constantly busy. At no point when I have gone in has there been less than 4 cashiers working through the line as quickly as possible. They do a great job as I have also no experienced any frustration or impatience from other customers. They have continued to stay very well stocked, organized, and clean.”
“Shopped at Satels for years ... best quality men's clothing in the city. Met a great guy Lonnie last year. Help me create a special outfit for a big occasion.. nailed it. Got tons of compliments and felt super confident I'm the suit/ shirt tie combination he selected for me. Yesterday I passed the Satels store headed to a neighboring restaurant. Had a vest catch me eye. I texted Lonnie simply to ask if he had my size in that vest. Next thing I know Lonnie comes to the restaurant with 2 different vests in a few sizes and tells me they are 20 percent off I selected the one I wanted. He took my card and brought back my new vest . Unbelievable costumer service. Lonnie went above and beyond to take care of me. I will always be a loyal customer. If you need any assistance at Satels ask for Lonnie. He's the best!! “Rented a tuxedo from here for my wedding this past November. I’m a big guy so finding a tuxedo that not only fit well, but looked good was a struggle at first. That was until I came to Rex Formal and Janie, The Store Manager, provided excellent service and had me fully setup within minutes. Janie and staff were very kind and professional, will be doing business with them in the future.

There are some womens options but yes mostly aimed at men's clothing. I am big and tall. Have not needed nice clothes in decades. Walked in wearing shorts and a t shirt. Did not matter. The professionalism and wisdom yes I said wisdom was unmatched. Free parking even though downtown san antonio. Every service member Knew exactly what to recommend and knew exactly what they were doing. Hand shakes and respect. Highly recommend.”
