“ok yall, I gotta share some words about my experience. I’ll preface this one by saying - I did about 3-4 months of research on Red Wing models, material types, all of it. Trying to figure out what I wanted. Finally landed on a beautiful pair of model #875s Oro Legacy Leather just called my name like none other.
So anyways, I walked into the store at a random time in the afternoon yesterday. Not busy as it was a weekday on an off time, I felt like I got some seriously world class service. I walked in, friendly greeting, walked me through the fitting and explained not just what the ideal size would be, but WHY it would be that way. No guesswork or multiple tries, my guy pinned my foot size within one shot and said “these are gonna be perfect”.
I loved the level of detail that the store manager (brother I’m so sorry I can’t remember names) went into in every aspect on the purchase from fitting, to aftercare, to even a quick and really informative history lesson on Red Wing Boots.
I will say, for some it’s just boots. For me, after 4 months of researching I wouldn’t have bought if I didn’t feel I got the experience I wanted, and this well exceeded EVERY one of my expectations.”

There are some womens options but yes mostly aimed at men's clothing. I am big and tall. Have not needed nice clothes in decades. Walked in wearing shorts and a t shirt. Did not matter. The professionalism and wisdom yes I said wisdom was unmatched. Free parking even though downtown san antonio. Every service member Knew exactly what to recommend and knew exactly what they were doing. Hand shakes and respect. Highly recommend.”

“From the second I walked in the door I was greeted and immediately helped. Their foot scan provided a ton of great insight that helped the sales associate, Jewel, better understand my feet. She listened to what I had to say about how I would be using these shoes (not for running, but for a new job where I would be on my feet a lot) and she was able to share past customer recommendations based on the profession. Jewel listened, asked questions about how different shoes felt and why I liked or didn't like them and that guided us to other shoes to try. I never felt rushed, or pressured into specific shoes.
I will ABSOLUTELY be back in the future and will bring my family as well.”

“I recently started training for a half marathon& had bought shoes on my own for running shorter distances but felt like I needed a better shoe for the increasing miles. So, to many runner's recommendations, I made an appt at Fleet Feet to get a better understanding of my feet & what shoe was best for my specific needs.
Christian was my dude that afternoon, and I hope every one of you reading this is lucky enough to have him help you when you go. Not only was his customer service refreshing, he heard my all over the place description of what I thought I wanted and came back w 3 pairs of shoes he felt were best. He knew pretty much everything about evety shoe in the store it seemed, what I might like and not like about each shoe he picked, and helped me pick an insole that best fit the pair I picked.
It's rare to get basic customer service anywhere these days; so exceptional knowledge and help is duly noted and extremely appreciated. Thank you for your help Christian, and I'll be back soon to get another pair so I can alternate them out.
Fleet Feet is a great store with a great selection for all types of runners. Their scanner helps analyze yoyr gait, foot size, weight distribution, arches, all of it. And they are lucky to have such a great staff as well. Thanks guys!!!!”

“Shopped at Satels for years ... best quality men's clothing in the city. Met a great guy Lonnie last year. Help me create a special outfit for a big occasion.. nailed it. Got tons of compliments and felt super confident I'm the suit/ shirt tie combination he selected for me. Yesterday I passed the Satels store headed to a neighboring restaurant. Had a vest catch me eye. I texted Lonnie simply to ask if he had my size in that vest. Next thing I know Lonnie comes to the restaurant with 2 different vests in a few sizes and tells me they are 20 percent off I selected the one I wanted. He took my card and brought back my new vest . Unbelievable costumer service. Lonnie went above and beyond to take care of me. I will always be a loyal customer. If you need any assistance at Satels ask for Lonnie. He's the best!! Last week, Bela and I stopped by the store and had the opportunity to meet Tracy, the manager, and we were so happy we did. After talking with her, it was easy to see that her love and care for animals is genuine. That kind of thing changes the feel of a place and makes the experience warmer, more natural, and more welcoming.
That is exactly how this place feels. It’s a really nice experience from start to finish, and it makes you appreciate being able to include your dog in more of life, not just the outdoor part.
