“I just had a fitting with Matt Salazar and it was amazing! Matt made sure I got fitted for the equipment that would work with my data. He definitely knew his knowledge on everything. “I was on a trip to San Antonio and in my local area there is no airgun retailers. I away like to loiter at places I don't have access to locally.
The owner was extremely friendly and engaging, and though he probably knew I was not going to be a customer, at least that day he let me check out any airgun or product I liked without any annoyance. I spent about 35 or 40 minutes just chatting it up. Wish Alamo airguns were closer to where I live.”

“I stopped in Academy to pick up a gift card for an upcoming birthday. Since I wasn't sure where the gift cards were stocked in this store, I asked the greeter at the front by the doors as I entered.
Not only did they respond to me, but they directed me to where the gift cards were specifically stocked. When I looked around, I saw that there were a number of different kinds of gift cards for a birthdays.
Pleasantly, surprised I grabbed one and then went to check out area. The checkout area was very well staffed, and there was no line. I walked directly to a staffed open register and was served by a young lady named, Lluvia. She quickly took care of me and was very courteous, and service-oriented.
I definitely had a good experience on this visit and at this store and hope to return soon.

“I brought an exchange that was months old, thinking they wouldn’t allow me to change the size. The girl helping was super nice and went out of her way to help me. The girl at the cashier knew what she was doing (well trained), and even though the new item was double the price of my old, she worked it out as an even exchange. I was super impressed and thankful for not being given a hard time.”
“My first time here. The variety of shoes was good but to me the prices are the same as you would find them at any shoe store in the mall. The convenience of it not being inside a mall was probably the only plus side. There's not much help on the floor. I didn't buy anything but my friend did. The customer service was helpful when I asked about shoe cleaners they had available. I don't think I would come back though.”
“I went to the gun show to find a tactical light for my staccato 2011 that already had a Holosun optic on it. After putting the tactical light on it, my old holster would not fit. I just happened to come across the freedom protective gear booth and he said he could custom make me one within 30 minutes. And he did just that. I love the way it looks, it fits my gun perfectly and it is easy to remove from the holster while it’s on my hip and easy to get back in. At the same time it feels very secure in the holster. Completely satisfied customer.”

“We went to get cleats for my 13 yo. There is a great selection and the owner is absolutely wonderful! So helpful and kind and his love of soccer flows! My son had such a nice time just being there and declared we’d go there any time he needed something. We live in Southtown so it’s far for us but worth the drive.”

“Great customer service. They really take time to help you find the best shoe for you, no matter how many people are shopping. This includes scanning your feet, sensing your cadence on a pad, and bring out plenty of shoes. I tried almost 10 pairs and never felt rushed, always felt heard. In fact, when the first round of shoes didn't result in a confident answer, the Hispanic female employee with short hair recommend a new round of boxes. It was great, that's where I found my perfect shoes. They were more expensive than my usual picks, but they we MY shoes, not random running shoes I found shopping alone at a different store which always resulted in shoes that didn't fit my needs or body.”
