“It was worth the 47 minute drive to this location. Since I’ve had my car (purchased new - me the only owner- 11 years) - I replaced the factory battery 🔋 with an IB battery. The service is always good and I appreciate IB honoring the warranty.
At this location, Stuart took my call and confirmed they had my battery in stock and encouraged me to come to the location before 4 pm and they could take care of the battery replacement. Got there and Jonathon was super transparent and even gave me history lesson on Southeast Austin. When you get honesty and transparency- it’s worth the drive. “I forgot to ask for the employees names, but it was a young guy and a girl and they were super helpful.. I’m from Dallas and was on a short trip to Austin and I had just ported over my number from another carrier but the port didn’t go through.. I was without service all day Saturday and Sunday I visited early in the morning and the girl was super knowledgeable, she got my problem fixed within 2 mins of me being there.. I also was planning on getting the WiFi and the young guy helped me set that up as well.. Great staff, super helpful and friendly”

“I was just reading a review on the Revival Audio Sprint 4 tower speakers and I realized I never wrote Brian a review.
In 2009, upon returning from college, a friend gifted me a pair of BA 930II towers, I bought a Pioneer SX1250 (for $900 rebuilt!) and have forever been hooked on great sounding stereos. Those speakers served me well and the foams were replaced a few times, but in early 2024 it was time to replace them.
I called in and set up an appointment, which I was on time for (probably early with excitement) and met Brian in his shop. I told him my budget and mentioned some speakers I had seen on his site. He said “I have this new option that I really enjoy, I think they are much better for the money”
Those were the Sprint 4 towers from Revival Audio (makers of the Adalante Series). These are some budget options that have the same technology, but the components are manufactured overseas and assembled in France (I think). They sound Amazing!
After buying those speakers, I knew it was maybe time to sell the SX and upgrade the power side of my system. Brian let me audition several Rega options, while I ultimately decided on a receiver from a diferent supplier, Brian was happy to let me take a few things home and audition them in my house and listening space.
Whetstone Audio is a long standing Austin establishment and I know Brian does this more out of passion than profit. I am super happy with my experience and the product. I listen to them just about every day and I am still in awe everytime I crank up the system. Definitely check out Whetstone Audio!”
“I wanted my TVs mounted on the wall and an updated Sound System. Because my house is 20 years old, they had to deal with obstacles within the walls of my home. They did this with great care and were very careful to make sure that no pipes or other hazards were in the way. They spent a lot of time measuring and consulting with me on the placement of the TVs. They are very kind and considerate and are great to work with. The updated stereo system is terrific, and my house is party ready.”
