“I rented an equipment today from the Home Depot Tool Rental in Ashburn, and I had an excellent experience thanks to Aran. Even though he was clearly short-staffed and handling multiple customers, he still took the time to work with me one-on-one and made sure I fully understood everything.
Aran was extremely patient and thorough in explaining how to use the equipment, especially when it came to safety. He didn’t rush through anything and made sure I was comfortable and confident before leaving. That level of attention and care is rare, especially when someone is busy.
What really stood out was his professionalism and willingness to help despite the workload. He stayed calm, answered all my questions clearly, and made himself available if I needed help later. That kind of customer service makes a big difference.
Overall, this was a 5-star experience. Aran is knowledgeable, dedicated, and truly goes above and beyond for customers. I would absolutely recommend renting from this location because of him.”

“I went to this location in Ashburn today and had one of the best experinces ever in a Home Depot. I was greeted by two very pleasant employees at the cashier by the door (Omar and Jayne). They were super kind and asked me if I need any help. I asked them few questions about lumbar items and they called a lumbar expert for me immediately to ensure I am helped promptly and properly. The lumbar specialist was super amazing and as friendly and pleasant as Omar and Jayne. His name was Robert! Robert was truely a Lumbar department expert and helped me find the product that best suit my needs. He cut the product for me in a very seamless fashion. I have never had such an experince in a Home Depot before and I couldnt hold myself from leaving this review. The entire staff at this location must be amazing I am sure since the encounter with these three employees was such a high standard. Thank you for being so honest to your work and customers!”

“In January we needed to replace the solid door to our laundry/AC utility room in order to pass inspection. The requirement was to have a door with ventilation slots so the system can properly breathe. We first tried Lowe’s and Home Depot, but those types of doors aren’t readily available and usually need to be customized, so we were referred to TART.

My husband went to the store and explained exactly what we needed. Shannon Mundy was the associate assisting him. She provided a brochure, my husband brought it home, and after reviewing the options together we quickly decided which door we wanted and placed the order.

Unfortunately, the communication throughout the process was very frustrating. My husband had to email and call multiple times just to try to confirm whether the order had been processed. It was extremely difficult to get a response, and we rarely received calls or emails back. As time went on, we had no clear updates on the status of the order.

Now it’s March 9, and we still hadn’t heard anything. My husband called again yesterday and only then were we told that the door had already arrived. The timeline was also much longer than what was originally suggested, so the lack of communication made the entire process unnecessarily stressful.

That said, when I personally went to pick up the door today, the experience was very different. Linda (I believe, sitting all the way to the right) greeted me right away and was extremely friendly, positive, and helpful. She helped me find what I was looking for, then found the order, provided the receipt, and helped coordinate everything. Another gentleman also helped fully load the door into my car, which I truly appreciated.

This place clearly has a great team and offers products that are difficult to find elsewhere. Because of the helpful staff during pickup and the fact that they had exactly what we needed, I’m giving four stars. However, the communication during the ordering process could definitely be improved, as it made what should have been a simple purchase much more frustrating than necessary.”

“I had never visited TW Perry before, but after an unfortunate falling out with our contractor, I went there hoping to find a solution to the problems their poor handling had created. Before heading to TWP, I did my homework—researching the materials we needed and learning how to build the item ourselves.

From the moment I arrived, every single person I interacted with treated me with genuine kindness. No one made me feel inexperienced or bothersome for asking questions. Instead, each staff member showed respect, patience, and a sincere interest in helping me accomplish my goal. This level of professionalism was a stark contrast to the treatment my husband and I received from our contractor, who often spoke down to us, dismissed our ideas, and attempted to justify their own errors—even though we had clearly communicated our specific desires well before the project began.

During my visit, I interacted with several team members across multiple areas: within the bays, the warehouse, the wood yard, and in the retail store. Not once did anyone make me feel out of place—no judgment, no condescension. Every question I asked was answered thoughtfully, and I was treated like a valued and capable customer. Unfortunately, this was the complete opposite of how our contractor had approached us throughout our project.

While I was looking for alternatives to fix the issue at hand, Josh—a TWP representative—approached me to offer assistance. At first, I was hesitant to explain everything, not wanting to impose, but Josh listened attentively and understood the problem immediately. Not only did he validate my concerns, he offered practical, knowledgeable guidance to help me resolve the problem and prevent any future complications. His support, expertise, and creativity were truly exceptional, and he even provided additional ideas I hadn’t considered.

I was so impressed by the entire TWP team—and by Josh in particular—that I felt compelled to share my experience and encourage others to visit TWP. I will absolutely be returning and already look forward to future projects using TWP.”

“I went to Ferguson’s Leesburg Branch today to buy replacement bidet supply lines & received exceptional customer service!! The staff helped me to identify the Kohler parts for a discontinued Kohler bidet faucet, asked when/where I purchased it (2020/Amazon), & told me it was still under warranty. Then, Andy proactively called Kohler, told them the parts I needed, gave them my contact info and Kohler will send the replacement parts at no charge! It’s remarkable for people to help even when you’re not buying anything.
Now, I’ll go back to Ferguson to shop for my remodeling needs. Thanks for a great experience!!”
